DuPont Bike Retreat is located 1/4 mile from the Fawn Lake Access area into DuPont State Forest. The DBR is 37 acres and has a pond with a dock and numerous camping sites available. The property used to hold Glass Feather Studio, which was a glass art studio and is now Glass Feather Lodge. The mountain view from the indoor porch is amazing and there are several places to relax and enjoy this view. There is an outdoor shower and bike wash station behind the lodge and an indoor bathroom off the porch. The lower Pond area of the property has port-a-johns near the pond, and outdoor showers may be available as well in 2023 . Starter bundles of firewood are included, and additional can be purchased on-site. Come enjoy the forest straight from your campsite!

This site was so beautiful and well maintained! We had a great stay on Todd’s land and was so close to all the activities we wanted to do around DuPont. Will absolutely plan to be back soon!

The property was beautiful. The leaves were changing and the campsite was perfectly positioned on this pond. It was peaceful with an abundance of amenities! Todd was great giving us detailed instructions for everything we needed.

#1 Dropping In
We had a wonderful stay! The host was great, lodge was cozy, campsite immaculate and close access to trails. 4WD is needed for all sites but the hilltop ones. Will definitely be back!

#2 Bunny Hop
Gorgeous Escape!
Absolutely breathtaking spot - there was space for hammock camping, and the bank provided solid protection against wind. The views and the hikes were wonderful, and the space for us to have a cup of coffee or enjoy the hot tub were such nice perks! Very nice local coffee and bar options as well. We cannot wait to visit again (and this time bring our bikes!)

HillTop #2
A better retreat from the heat.
Hilltop #2 is a very large, densely forested and shady site with #1 immediately adjacent, so not completely private if occupied. Given the cool fall temperatures, we would have preferred some sunshine. We were always in the dark. The site only had 20 amp service which was ok, but no water or dumping available which wasn’t ideal for us. Had to carry jugs of water from the lodge. Location for biking was awesome, just a minute away from DuPont Recreational Forest. Also enjoyed some nearby restaurants in Cedar Mountain. The indoor bathroom and shower was great! The hot tub was amazing, though the clutter from renovations was a distraction.
