Away from the hustle and bustle, but only 30 minutes to Asheville, and close to shopping, restaurants, hiking, rafting, waterfalls, and much, much more! Enjoy getting away as a couple, or with the kids. Just steps away from our game room with pool, ping pong, foos ball, air hockey, darts, and exercise room. Come pet the animals! This 1 room cabin includes 1 King bed, pullout queen sofa, large comfy chair, dining table for 4, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, grill, picnic table, fire pit, cooking essentials, towels, and linens. This cabin is next to a bathhouse. There is a mens and womens restroom. Both restrooms are equipped with 6 showers, 4 stalls, and 8 sinks. You will have complete access to restrooms and showers. You will also have access to the gameroom and exercise room. Across from the cabin is a large pasture and our animals.

Bathhouse has men's and women's restrooms with 6 showers, with hot water on each side as well. The drive up to this site has a few turns that can be a little challenging. If you are pulling a pop camper or small travel trailer you will need 4 wheel drive. If just bringing a car, and pitching a tent, 4 wheel drive is not necessary. What a wonderful experience ❤️. The pictures are exactly to a T, the provided firewood was the 🍒 on top and lasted us our entire trip (we did run out our last day, but it was easily accessible to get more, no problem!) We love that it was secluded, the only "downside" not really a downside because the property was absolutely amazing, but there is no water spigot on the site, you have to walk to a main area for access along with the bathrooms (which we couldn't carry our water buckets back, so we drove on the grass to get to the spigot (A NO NO), so just make sure you either don't need it, having something to easily transport it back to your site, or be 💪 lol), but overall did not take away from the entire experience whatsoever!!!! We would love to come back in the future!!!! Thank you for a lovely quiet weekend!!!! (Ps theres animlas, who doesn't love that!!) 🐄 🫏 🪿

Overall an incredible 10/10 experience! Very simple campsite right next to a pasture of donkeys and cows. They turned off the electric fence so we could pet the animals which was amazing. Ray also lent us a few folding chairs because we forgot ours. The bathrooms were an added bonus. Ray and Shannon were very welcoming and very nice people. We would return here in a heart beat! The only down(ish) side is that there is a giant LED light on top of the bathhouse on all night long. Camping in a mesh tent was less than ideal because it was so bright that it was actually hard to go to sleep. My advice would be to bring an eye mask or make sure to book a site down the hill.

Starlight Site Bathouse Available!

The campground was in a great location, not far from Flat Rock and we had lots to do in the area. Our 2 year old loved seeing the animals. There were lots of friendly donkeys, ducks, and cows! We picked a site away from the animal field since there was an electric fence there and we have a very curious 2 year old! We didn’t expect a couple things - There was a bit of road noise at the site we stayed at and we were woken up by it a few times. However, we do sleep with a sound machine at home so we may just not be used to typical noise like this at night! The bathhouse was also a trek up the hill from the campsite. Overall, it was a good stay and you can tell that a lot of work has gone into the place.

We really enjoyed our weekend in this spot. They met us at the front of their property for an escort to our spot. There was a concern if we could make the sharp turn necessary to get to this private site. With big green, we had no problem getting our overlander trailer in position. They had donkeys, ducks, cows, and cats. The place had a summer camp feel with the bunk houses, common area fire pits, and the bathhouse that had great water pressure in the hot showers - a welcome convenience with all the damp air and rain that came in as we explored Hendersonville. Like I said before, our spot was very private and just a short walk to the bathhouse. There are plenty of other camp spots on their property too. Ray and Shannon were very nice and very helpful. The grounds were very well kept. Will return in the future as we need to explore Hendo and surrounding area more for our 828Vibes . com

My little family love Ray and Shannon's property. It was very beautiful. We appreciate them co.ing out to meet us and making sure we could our cars in our spot and then filling us in on everything about the property. We loved how family friendly it was and how safe we felt tucked away in our little spot. The bathrooms were clean. The showers were hot with good water pressure. We loved seeing all the different animals. Thank you for being a great host.

Shannon and Ray’s land was right on a beautiful spot in the grass over looking two hills. They were very accommodating and sweet. I would stay here again and I love that they had a private bath house that was very accommodating during my stay. I think there’s a couple places to stay on this property but yes, I would recommend.

The place is a dream come true! First camp of the season and we couldn’t have asked for a better place or better hosts! Ray and Shannon were amazing! Very welcoming and helpful! The bathhouse is super clean! The location is BEAUTIFUL! Tons of room for our dogs to run around and they have a hiking trail that takes you around the property. 10000000 out of 10 recommend! Best part was the stars at night and free fire wood. We used a lot because it was 30 degrees at night! We will definitely be back 😁

Entire campsite is on a slope, not a single level spot available. Not private but feels safe. Very little light pollution so nice clear view of the sky/stars. Distance hum of highway traffic is constant. Fires permitted, bring your own kindling they provide firewood. Bathroom well appointed but is a communal camp style sinks and showers. A pleasant experience but won’t be back due to the uneven ground.

I camped with some friends and it was the best Hipcamp I've ever booked. Ray and Shannon were so helpful and welcoming. They allowed us to choose from two campsites upon arrival. The farm animals were so much fun and there were also a few cats running around. I would absolutely book again and recommend to any friends!

Rustic Cabin on Mountain Farm

This was a spur of the moment stay and turned out good. It is a little difficult without running water to the cabin with kids (there is a bath house with restrooms within walking distance). The cabin itself was beautiful, we stayed in number 1. There are 4 of them very close by, so if you are seeking privacy it won't be here. Across the cabin is a fenced in area for the farm animals. We did not check that out due to timing of other plans, but is probably cool for the kids. We were able to have a campfire which was really nice to have. All in all, if you are just needing a spot to sleep id recommend it, not so much for hanging out, especially with younger kids. I have a 10 and 4 year old. The drive way is paved most of the way, lots of twists and turns. We arrived after sundown so it was a little challenging finding but nothing crazy.

I really enjoyed my stay here at the tent site. As a solo traveler I felt my site was private but knowing that there were others right up the hill was very comforting. The host was wonderful. She took me right down to my site. Loads of firewood and a shelter if it rains. And the hot showrrs was such a plus. Such a great spot to explore the area. I will definetly be back. Loved it!

We loved camping here! The location was perfect for hiking Pisgah & close enough to explore Asheville. The bath house was equipped with hot water and the campsite wad very spacious. We enjoyed being greeted in the morning by the cute animals.

My husband and I and our two children had a great time tent camping! Ray and Shannon’s property is so peaceful, yet convenient to get to town, groceries or food if needed. The bathhouse wasn’t too far from our tent site but we still had plenty of privacy. The bathhouse was clean and our kids loved having access to the game room! Ray and Shannon were extremely helpful and kind to us. The only thing I would say is be careful if you bring your vehicle all the way down to the site. It’s a steep hill getting back up without 4 wheel drive. We made it with the car unloaded but not with it full of all our gear. But the site itself had plenty of flat open space, a picnic table, and a great big fire ring. The wood was literally right there too. We will definitely be back!

Papa's Paradise Bathhouse available

Really nice campsite in a great location! It’s close to a lot of things so it’s nice if you want to venture out but there’s lots to do at the campsite so it’s not boring if you stay the entire trip. We also loved that it was family friendly!

Jinzie Overlook Bathhouse available

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Nothing like sitting by a fire, looking at the stars, with donkeys, cows, and cats right next door. The bathrooms and showered were well equipped. The campsite itself was quiet. Owners were super helpful in refilling firewood and super friendly, letting our toddler pet the baby donkey.

Starlight Site Bathouse Available!

Camping in our car was so easy and comfortable at this little farm! The bathhouse is kept clean and all the campsites are easy to get to and include firewood, a picnic table, a fire pit, and a bench. Shannon showed us to our parking spot and was super nice, loved this little gem!
