Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Completely remodeled January of 2022. Our cabin sits on 20 acres with beautiful mountain views. Away from the hustle and bustle, but only 30 minutes to Asheville, and close to shopping, restaurants, hiking, rafting, waterfalls, and much, much more! Enjoy getting away as a couple, or with the kids. Just steps away from our game room with pool, ping pong, foos ball, air hockey, darts, and exercise room. Come pet the animals! This 1 room cabin includes 1 King bed, pullout queen sofa, large comfy chair, dining table for 4, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, grill, picnic table, fire pit, cooking essentials, towels, and linens. This cabin is next to a bathhouse. There is a mens and womens restroom. Both restrooms are equipped with 6 showers, 4 stalls, and 8 sinks. You will have complete access to restrooms and showers. You will also have access to the gameroom and exercise room. Across from the cabin is a large pasture and our animals.

Bathhouse has men's and women's restrooms with 6 showers, with hot water on each side as well. The drive up to this site has a few turns that can be a little challenging. If you are pulling a pop camper or small travel trailer you will need 4 wheel drive. If just bringing a car, and pitching a tent, 4 wheel drive is not necessary. We loved camping here! The location was perfect for hiking Pisgah & close enough to explore Asheville. The bath house was equipped with hot water and the campsite wad very spacious. We enjoyed being greeted in the morning by the cute animals.

My husband and I and our two children had a great time tent camping! Ray and Shannon’s property is so peaceful, yet convenient to get to town, groceries or food if needed. The bathhouse wasn’t too far from our tent site but we still had plenty of privacy. The bathhouse was clean and our kids loved having access to the game room! Ray and Shannon were extremely helpful and kind to us. The only thing I would say is be careful if you bring your vehicle all the way down to the site. It’s a steep hill getting back up without 4 wheel drive. We made it with the car unloaded but not with it full of all our gear. But the site itself had plenty of flat open space, a picnic table, and a great big fire ring. The wood was literally right there too. We will definitely be back!

Really nice campsite in a great location! It’s close to a lot of things so it’s nice if you want to venture out but there’s lots to do at the campsite so it’s not boring if you stay the entire trip. We also loved that it was family friendly!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Nothing like sitting by a fire, looking at the stars, with donkeys, cows, and cats right next door. The bathrooms and showered were well equipped. The campsite itself was quiet. Owners were super helpful in refilling firewood and super friendly, letting our toddler pet the baby donkey.

Camping in our car was so easy and comfortable at this little farm! The bathhouse is kept clean and all the campsites are easy to get to and include firewood, a picnic table, a fire pit, and a bench. Shannon showed us to our parking spot and was super nice, loved this little gem!

The Barn
We love the Barn and will definitely be back! We couldn't have been more comfortable. Our dog Chloe made fast friends with "quackers" the duck (just what we called him/her) and boy did my hubby enjoy the fishing. Thank you Ray and Shannon for such a lovely stay!

Great spot for kids and animal lovers. Peaceful and easy location to access kid friendly adventures. We loved visiting triple falls and hookers falls just 25 min from Mountain View acres. Also took a 10 min drive over to flat rock park for an amazing playground. All and all it was a nice stay for us and we are baby beginner campers. We don’t have AWD on our vehicle and we were able to park on top of the hill and use a wagon to haul our stuff to the site. Anything that was challenging about the stay was due to us being new to camping. We really appreciated the firewood, the game room during some rain, the bath house and the kind hosts. Thank you for helping us make memories! Ps. Book your stay with this in mind. The kittens on the property are very friendly. Our kids loved them but they visited us constantly. A couple of times I had to redirect them while I was cooking but they will definitely come say hi regularly.

The views at this campsite are great Shannon was very accommodating and the place was easy to find. The bath house was very clean, and the campsite was too. There was another site in view, but far enough away not to hear anything. The cows, bulls and donkeys were a treat!

This place is a dream!! We could not have imagined a better spot and experience for our long weekend. Thank you so much to the amazing hosts for making this beautiful slice of nature available to campers! We loved being close to the donkeys and cows and bath house and still feeling like we were surrounded by woods - with the opportunity to listen to the rain one night and gaze at the stars the other nights! Thank you thank you thank you from your biggest Atlanta fans! The firepit and firewood were a huge hit!

Great spot on this family’s farm, plenty of flat space for a few tents, with a huge fire pit and a table! Bathrooms/showers are right up the hill. The cows and donkeys come up to the electric fence to say hello! This was our second time camping here and we will probably be back again.

The Barn
We absolutely loved our stay at The Barn. It was the perfect place for my family of four to spend the week. The space is comfortable and we had everything we needed. The pond is such a peaceful spot and we loved swimming, fishing, and sipping our coffee there everyday. Ray & Shannon are so accommodating and kind. I would highly recommend this spot and hope to return one day!

Rustic Cabin on Mountain Farm
I had the pleasure of staying in one of the cabins during the holiday weekend. This property never ceases to amaze me! If I’m in North Carolina, this is always my first pick. I cannot wait to come back and admire the animals and the beautiful land! If you are a solo traveler, traveling with a pet, friends or family or all of it, this is the best place to stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful campsite hosted by Ray and Shannon. From the moment we arrived, we felt a deep connection to nature. The site is surrounded by lovely animals—cows, donkeys, chickens, ducks, and more—making it a perfect retreat for animal lovers and nature enthusiasts alike. Ray went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He was incredibly welcoming and always available to help with anything we needed, even providing us with some cobalt when we asked. His hospitality truly made a difference, and we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. The campsite itself is well-maintained, with showers and bathrooms conveniently located near our site, which was a huge plus! We were also treated to a stunning sunset each evening, adding to the beauty of this tranquil place. Overall, this camping experience was everything we hoped for and more. We’ll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, nature-filled getaway. Thank you, Ray and Shannon, for such a lovely stay!

This site is at the bottom of a hill and was all grass, very nice to sleep on. It’s also VERY private. Nobody else next to you. It does have an electric fence for the cows but I parked my vehicle between the site and the fence and then we used our solar path lights to make sure we didn’t walk into it at night. It was worth it because my 2 and 5 year old were in love with all the animal visitors and it really made their stay. My little guy would drag his chair over and just sit and watch them. They love the ducks cat and chickens especially. This sit has a killer sunset view. And is surrounded by wildflowers. There is a wood stack! I brought my own but that was a blessing. And a very huge firepit. Luckily I have a little grill with legs to put in the fire for our meals. The bath house is large and was kept very clean, all fixtures working. At night, you could watch allll these fireflies lifting out of the grass around it and it felt magical. The host was not only communicative but very kind. I was worried about the electric fence as I didn’t realize I’d be so close and she offered to move us. But it was worth it like I said. Her son also ran a bell and fed the cows for my kids which they thought was fantastic. And they turned the fence off for some petting as well. The property is pretty and there was cell reception and we were 6 minutes from a gas ration so while it was set apart, you could restock on things if you needed them. I recommend Little Bradley Falls nearby

Our small pop up camper was great on the farm! Bathhouse was so big and clean and professional. Communication with hosts was easy and they were responsive to any need. Ground is not level so bring plenty of accessories to level with.

Ray and Shannon were such a pleasure to communicate with. What a nice spot for a trip. If you love animals like we do, you will really love this Hipcamp. The donkeys were so fun and friendly as were the cows, bulls, ducks, chickens and Kitty cat that came to make sure we made it OK!

Jinzie Overlook Bathhouse available
We parked our RV right by the pasture and enjoyed playing with the animals. If you’re looking for SUPER private, this is not what you’re looking for. But if you don’t mind having cabins behind you, if you like having a bath house, and you love animals, this is great!

Sunset Valley Bathhouse Available!
Loved the location, conveniently located close to amenities but far removed enough for that country feel. The land is a little sloped but enough flat spots to set up a tent comfortably. The bathhouse was also much appreciated as was the potable water from a nearby spigot. The cows and donkey's were delightful though may upset dogs. Crystal and I will definitely be back!
