This property is situated on 50 acres, surrounded by private property with views of the nearby Pisgah National Forest and a 10 minute drive to DuPont State Forest.
Campsites are adjacent to the French Broad River. Excellent fishing and boating. It is heavily populated by deer and other wildlife. For this reason, dogs must be kept on a leash.
Due to the property proximity to the river and situated in floodway, the sites are subject to flooding during heavy rain events. Voluntary and/or mandatory evacuation may be necessary during any reservation due to high waters or forecast for high water events. If evacuation is necessary, unused portions of reservation will be refunded.
Campers are advised to be self-sufficient with water, bath, and toilet facilities. We do provide a port a potty and firewood is for sale. IF YOU ARE CAMPING WITH A RV OR TRAILER, PLEASE CONTACT US TO DISCUSS A SITE. All sites can accommodate smaller RV camper units. However, larger RV's have limited site availability.
Campsites are situated along the river edge. Embankments are steep and near deep water. Although not prohibited, we discourage children as constant supervision is a must to avoid serious injury due to natural hazards.
If you are floating in from the French Broad River the recommended take out is located at 35.24007° N, -82.69972° W. See images in our photos for the posted Riverbend sign for where to take out.

The site was as advertised. Very spacious and soft pine straw beds to set up tents. Great views of mountains the the river. Fire pit had a grate already. Porter John and firewood were the ideal distance away from the site.

We loved our stay here! We needed a place super last minute and they were very accommodating. We booked at 10:30pm and received the welcome info/gate combination immediately! Super appreciative of that and the beautiful site. Clean porta potty, too! Would definitely stay here again.

Great campsite just a bit more open than we were hoping for as far as privacy goes. Beautiful convenient location though and definitely will be coming back!

Multiple sites. Flat spots for tents. Although sites are rather close to each other. But good experience!
