We're bread baking, pasta making, timber milling, woodworking, clay-forming and metal pounding. The goal is to evolve into a small world of self-reliance and harmony with nature. Through good design, our goal is to show just how "normal" slow, simple living can feel. We all have personal priorities, and those will vary greatly. But within that, we can all include ways of being respectfully mindful to the earth and to our neighbors. Visiting with us, we sure hope our guests don't expect to find a corporate approach to life here, that they can appreciate our perspectives and some of our old-fashioned ways. Our presentation at Heirloom Hamlet has been purposefully designed to be a refreshing hideaway from the norm. We love camping at Liz’s place! This was our second time camping here & we have loved every minute of it. It’s close to all the fun things we wanted to do. We brought our kayaks & found many place to kayak nearby. From the Port Royal sunset to the beautiful beaches of Huntington Island. This place will not disappoint!

Beautiful property, we throughly enjoyed staying there. The bathhouse with the washer and dryer was convenient to the site and super clean. The directions to the property were very easy to follow, everything was just as they explained.

This was one of my favorite stays I've ever had. Ani and Curt are wonderful and their property is beyond relaxing! It was the perfect stop over as driving up the East Coast. Every detail is thoughtful, the design is gorgeous and the grounds are the perfect place to unwind. Would highly recommend.

This is a great spot to pitch a tent for the night. The host was great, it was really hot and he generously lent me a fan for my tent. Not sure I would have slept much without that. The property is really nice. Just know the road going in was sandy. At least it's not long, I got in on my touring motorcycle. Just go slow.

We had an excellent experience. Lovely space, set up with ease. We were road weary driving from Florida on our way to NC. We arrived a little after 9pm and Will came out to guide us to our spot. He was very nice. We will definitely stay again on our way back.

We loved staying at the creek house. Such a comfortable cabin very cool style. Sitting in there with the curtains blowing the windows open the little fairy lights under the loft it was a level of relaxation i hadn’t experienced maybe never in my life before. If you’re looking to get away from It all, this is the place. I brought two of my kids with me nine and 12 years old I think it was equally enjoyable for them too.
