Nice, private location with everything we needed. No problems at all. Plenty of room for 30 foot+ camper.

First time camping with our dogs
We had 2 pleasant nights at Liz's site. It's nice, and she was kind enough to leave us a bundle of firewood. There is a big fire ring and a nice gravel area around it, they planned well for fire safety.
I'm new to Hipcamp. not used to the way sites are described, but it is not on one side of a 10 acre piece of property with the owner's house on the other. To be fair, there is a house barely visible in one of the pictures, and somewhere the word "neighborhood" is used, but this is in a neighborhood and not private. It's also quite close to a busy road, we heard ambulances (must be on a hospital route), lots of motorcycles, and blaring car stereos at night. We could see one of the neighborhood dogs through his fence, the house was that close, That house was lit up like a shopping mall at night, in fact we thought there was a restaurant there, the lights were that bright.
We were disappointed but I take some responsibility for not having done proper vetting. That said, my hub and I found the description of the campsite unrepresentative of the actual space. "We have 10 acres, it used to be a phosphate mine, now it’s just beautiful land with lovely trees and peace." I wish it were. This pics are accurate, they just aren't angled to show the close proximity of several houses.
If you don't care about privacy I'd recommend this site, it's pretty, and very close to all that Beaufort has to offer. We were just looking for real peace and quiet, and to be a bit more isolated.

Had a great quick weekend stay and everything was as the description stated. Peaceful and the fire pit was ready to burn and stocked! A nice surprise and added touch. We plan to return.

We had a great time at Liz’s camp on Ladies Island. Nice quiet neighborhood in Beaufort with lots of shade. It is great to have all the amenities right in camp - 50amp power, Wi-Fi, septic hookup, and water with large grocery store just a couple of minutes away.
We have a 36 foot class A which took little effort to get into camp and close to the utilities. Hunting Island is a wonderful state park beach less than 30 minutes drive and there are numerous places within short drives. We also visited Charleston twice and ran out of time to go to Savanna. We travel with 4 small dogs and a disabled person all of whom enjoyed the camp and the area.
Great camp and area - we highly recommend for the privacy you can’t get in an RV park.
Thanks Liz !

Simply Amazing!
Love Love love the site! It is a large site with fire pit and lean-to which my daughter pitched a tent under as we had a rainy week.
The location is fantastic, close to pretty much anything. There is some street noise as mentioned by a previous guest but not bothersome at all!
Site has electric, water and sewer and dedicated wi-fi. We had absolutely no issues.
Make sure to bring bug spray during the summer, those mosquitoes are a little too friendly. We stayed for eight nights and will definitely do it again when we are down that way.
Thank you Liz!!

Great location
I feel like another reviewer about not leaving a review...I don't like giving away my secrets. LOL This is a great spot! Centrally located to everything I wanted to do. Beaufort one day, Daufuskie Island one day, Savannah and then Hunting Island. Liz was great and I greatly appreciate her opening her hipcamp to us. I will definitely be back.

Spacious spot w great amenities
What a great spot!! Everything you could need (power, water, sewer, even private WiFi) and super convenient to Beaufort (maybe 10 minutes) and only about 20-25 mins to Hunting Island. Lots of space and privacy, and a cool little lean-to to get out of the rain or sun. Liz was great - very responsive to any of our questions. Highly recommend

The site is private and quiet. It is close to Beaufort and the other isles. There was no internet service I could find. My comment would be that at our site the sewer, cable and electric are not centrally located. Thus, have either enough chord or enough sewer pipe. As to the cable service I can't say. The connection was further away than the cable length I had. All in all, with the caveats mentioned I would recommend it as a cost conscious campsite in a beautiful area.

My wife, dog, cat and I loved staying at Liz’s spot. It’s private, quiet, and a lovely location. We live long term in our RV and wish we could just rent that spot from her!

Peaceful Little Piece of Heaven
We loved almost everything about Nighthawk Under the Oaks. The site was level, private space on private property, and within 5 minutes to shopping, gas, groceries. They have one RV space and it was heaven. Other than some road noise, it was quiet and really peaceful listening to the birds, frogs, and squirrels, especially late at night. There are full hook-ups with 50 amp, all of which we prefer, and no bath house, which we wouldn't use anyway. We only saw the owners occasionally. Liz came over to the RV spot when we got there, and when we were leaving. Otherwise, they just passed by and waved a few times during the week. The only negative I would mention is that the circle drive is very tight for a large rig. We have a one-ton dually and a 40' fifth wheel. Since it had rained quite a bit while we were there, the ground was very soft, making an already super tight turn even more unpleasant. We had to back so far into the trees to get out and around other trees, that we ended up having to drive over the super nice fire pit and gravel area. I wouldn't go in there with a fifth wheel again, or at the very least, one that's not more than 32' long maybe. Overall, we had a very relaxing stay and if we had a smaller rig, we would stay there again if ever in the area. We realized that we loved the seclusion of it rather than an RV park with lots of activities, noise, kids running through our camp, and barking dogs.

Stayed for weeks!
This is an amazing location just a few miles from downtown Beaufort. The site is spacious and private, but there is everything you could possibly need nearby.
The pictures are accurate. The host, Liz, is responsive. She accommodated us arriving days earlier than we expected, and is also allowing us to extend our stay — because we want to stay longer!
Liz was responsive to troubleshooting some internet issues and even had new service installed. The internet is now good for zoom and streaming but not quite sufficient to satisfy my teenage gamer. There is good Verizon coverage on our hotspot and phones.
We have 37’ travel trailer that fits nicely, but it did require some backing up. There are 2 dump stations and 2 faucets.
Don’t miss the Saturday morning farmer’s market in Port Royal or the locally made ice cream at Bruster’s!

I almost hate to leave a review! I want this place to myself. Lol. Liz’s Hipcamp was everything I could want. As a solo Airstreamer I felt safe and at home. Easy to get around and the fire pit & covered patio area is awesome.

Huge site!
The ad didn’t do this spot justice. Very secluded minus some road noise, and great setup with full hookups. Minutes away from downtown Beaufort and only an hour-ish from Savannah or Charleston. Plenty of room for dogs or kids, but just remember it is a campsite, there’s some dirt.
Already making plans to attend and really enjoyed.
