We have 10 acres, it used to be a phosphate mine, now it’s just beautiful land with lovely trees and peace. We have our home on the backside of the property but are more than willing to share our beautiful spot for travelers that may need a place to stay to visit Beaufort or Parris Island or even an overflow spot when Hunting Island cannot accommodate you every day. Learn more about this land: Private, semi-woodsy, Level site with water, septic, and electricity, can accommodate up to 60' Diesel Pushers, and 5th wheels. We have 30 amp and 50 amp for larger campers, as well as your Internet for the site. The Atlantic Ocean is 12 miles away if you want to visit the beautiful Hunting Island. Several saltwater boat landings within 2-5 miles. Historic Beaufort 3 miles, Paris Island 6 miles, swimming, fishing, surfing, shrimping all within 5-10 minutes. Bring your RV and your boat.Private, semi woodsy, Level site with water, septic and electric, and private internet.  The site can accommodate up to 45 feet of camper. 5th Wheels may have a problem with anything over 45-50 total truck and trailer combo, but it can be accomplished if skilled. EXTRA DIRECTIONS Due to google maps being incorrect and taking people past the site, I have changed the address to a street number. Nighthawk Lane or 396 Sams Point Rd. This is where you will turn right, follow the road about 20 yards past small bamboo bushes and it will be through the gate on the right. The Atlantic Ocean is 12 miles away if you would like to visit the beautiful Hunting Island.  Several salt water boat landings within 2-5 miles. Historic Beaufort 3 miles, Paris Island 6 miles, swimming, fishing, surfing, shrimping all within 5-10 minutes. Bring your RV and your boat. Farmers Market in Port Royal every Saturday from 9-12.

The site has water electric and septic for RV’s, the site can accommodate up to a 40' RV, if you have a 5th wheel 40' combo, truck and trailer can be accommodated, anything larger like 42 total will take some skill, but can be managed. Outdoor cook area. Fire pit.

On leash. Pets are allowed, please keep them on a leash, or be mindful of there whereabouts. There is plenty of land and woods for them to wander, but there is also a busy road if they wander too far. Please clean up after yourselves and pets, for the next arrivals. Thanks

We love camping at Liz’s place! This was our second time camping here & we have loved every minute of it. It’s close to all the fun things we wanted to do. We brought our kayaks & found many place to kayak nearby. From the Port Royal sunset to the beautiful beaches of Huntington Island. This place will not disappoint!

Avoid the crowded campgrounds, and enjoy the solitude of this campsite. It's convenient to all the Beaufort and Port Royal have to offer. I highly recommend this place.

Great place for our needs! We had family in town and needed a place with full hookups and a convenient location; this was it! It was very quiet, and the site was clean and well-kept. Easy access to grocery stores and amenities while also feeling like we were off the beaten path. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely time at Liz's campsite. I loved that it was private for our easily excited dog. We enjoyed walking to the pond to see the different birds everyday and we even saw a deer one evening. The campsite was in the perfect location! 30 mins to Hunting Island State Park, close to Cypress Wetland's Port Royal and perfect for touring the Old City of Beaufort! We will definitely be back this summer!

Liz's land met our needs for an affordable spot to park our camper while we explored the area. We spent most of our time at Hunting Island State Park and it was close enough for multiple trips there and back during our stay. We also enjoyed biking the Spanish Moss Trail. We had everything we needed at the site and Liz responded quickly to questions we had upon arrival. The permanent shelter is a nice addition. We did have trouble with mosquitos and other biting pests while there, so be prepared for that. As other reviews have stated, it is on a busy road and there is road noise, although you can't see the road. We knew that when choosing the site.

The site was spacious and easily accessed. Liz was great with communications. Upside, it's close to Beaufort and Hunting Island State Park. Downside, there was a lot of traffic noise.

The site was spotlessly cleaned. We loved the metal roofed weather cover. The location was central. Loved the full hook up, including wifi and garbage. The fire pit was awesome and the fact that some of the area was stoned for easy sitting and relaxing in the sun. Would definitely book again. Price was extremely fair.

Thank you to Liz & Kacey for sharing their beautiful property with us. We loved the wide open space for only our RV. Fantastic area to walk our two dogs. Hosts are wonderful folks and truly make you feel at ease. Even though close to a road, we wouldn't have known it, lots of trees that buffer the area.

Liz and her partner Casey are the best! It was my first time using Hipcamp, first time staying and hooking up my camper, and it was such a great experience. Liz’s place is close enough to everything that your only a few minute drive to the necessities but quite and secluded that I had great privacy. The spot was easy to find, convenient hookups and overall clean and efficient. I wasn’t stressed out and was able to work and relax. The WiFi worked great as well! Highly recommend staying here!

Liz's property is very clean and well maintained. The beautiful landscape consists of a lean-to with a rocking chair and a very nice fire pit. It was surround by trees and bamboo. The area was not as quiet as expected as the site is close to the road. It may have been because of the holidays, but there were a lot of sirens, dogs barking and gun shots. We're from the country, so used to the noises, but not expecting such heavy traffic noise. We were unsure of the property lines, so didn't roam very far out with our two dogs. There were also other driveways from the property, so we were not sure which trashcan we were to use. We brought our trash home with us to dispose of properly. The instructions indicate there is no road sign, but there was a new sign up to help navigate us to the proper site. The location is very easy to find. We had to buy an extended hose for our black tank. There was one available at the property, but unfortunately, it did not fit the ones we have. We used 3 total as the septic is further away from the electrical and water hookups. We were perfectly centralized between Charleston and Savannah and the live oak trees with the Spanish moss were absolutely gorgeous throughout the area. Beaufort is a cute little town and the people seemed very friendly. We would definitely visit Liz again. She has a beautiful set up for a short term stay while visiting the area.

We loved staying at Liz’s spot. It was well thought out and in a private setting. Great place to walk the dogs. We wish all camping could be like this! Liz was a wonderful host offering up help if we needed it and giving us recommendations for some place to eat out that was a local spot.

What a beautiful campsite! It is spacious and well kept with great hookups. We were visiting Parris Island for our nephew's graduation from Marine basic training and this location was very convenient. There are also grocery stores and a lot of restaurants near by. Liz was very accommodating when we asked to have family join us one night for dinner and all were impressed with the campsite. I recommend this site and we hope to visit again.

The campsite was private, no other sites close by. It was also very conveniently located to all the islands, and easy to get to. Liz was quick to respond to any questions and was very helpful. We would definitely come back!

The parking spot was perfect and beautiful. Great spot in the middle of all things on the Sea Islands! We had great communication and our hosts were so hospitable. So fun to have found this spot and these people.

This is a hidden jem. The location is secluded and private. You don’t have other campers right on top of you. You are in the middle of Lady island and close to all the restaurants and attractions. Liz was very quick to respond to our questions and very helpful.
