Great affordable spot to have a base camp to explore Hunting Island. The spot was level and for our 30’ RV perfectly. The spot is roomy enough width wise for room to hang out. It’s fully shaded which kept our solar from topping off but the setting is beautiful and cooler in the summer I’m sure. Hunting Island is AWEmazing and it’s was bikeable for our family from our camp thanks to a newish bike lane over the bridge. Belinda and he husband were very kind and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Great site. We didn't get to check out the farm as the weather wouldn't cooperate. Very gracious hosts and we LOVED hunting Island. Plan on coming back in the spring and will definitely stay here again!

It’s a beautiful spot. We loved how close it is to Hunting Island and the beach. Belinda’s husband totally took care of us. We bought fresh eggs and wood and he brought us water and made us feel safe. Thanks for another great trip Hipcamp.
P.S. A prerequisite for staying….you better like the rooster crowing.

Camping on a sustainable farm!
Our experience with Belinda was wonderful! Communication was prompt and check-in instructions were very clear. Our site was convenient, yet felt tucked away in a forest clearing. The camping toilet and shower tent were clean and all set for our use. Belinda was available for our needs, yet provided respectful privacy for our getaway. She even came to stack some wood for us to burn on the second night of our stay.
The day of our departure, we met one of the land owners who shared some history and details about an event hosted at the farm.
All interactions were warm and friendly. We would definitely book a site here again. Thank you for your hospitality!!

A mixed review
This camp is remote and has 2 sites only, mine was in the woods with a privacy tent, picnic table and fire pit. I stayed in my car all evening during a serious thunderstorm and heavy rain. Not the best for my one night stay of course.
Belinda the host was quite welcoming.
I had purchased the farm package and was disappointed that some items were not as expected and for that overpriced.

Enjoyed our stay at Friendly Fowl Farm. The site was nice and shady. Short walk to the water spigot. Hosts were friendly and helpful. The chickens and turkeys were a bit noisy but not too bad. Great cinnamon rolls.

This place is paradise to us and the hosts, Tony and Belinda, are the angels taking care of it. We absolutely love staying here! It is peaceful and quiet at night. You are able to see so many beautiful stars on this farm.
We ordered the produce package, fresh farm eggs, and Rosemary bread and were able to eat healthy farm fresh food all week. If you are looking for a peaceful respite convenient to the beach, then you will love this place.
Thank you again to Tony and Belinda for allowing us to stay with you yet again.

Welcoming Farm and perfect set up
I had a fun and educational stay at Friendly Fowls Farm. Mr & Mrs Jones were very knowledgeable about the history of the area and I enjoyed meeting the animals and seeing the yards and wild flowers.
I also participated in the Decoration Day Celebration which was informative and educational. The farm to table food was delicious.

Camping on the Farm
It was my 1st time Tent Camping by myself and after I told Tony that he was kind enough to move me from the campsite at the entrance to their land to the site closest to their home. I felt right at home there, feeling like I was camping out in my own backyard and I slept like a ROCK!! I would like to come back there again. Thank you both for your Hospitality.

Charming and delightful
Belinda and Tony are very welcoming, and their land is beautiful and within 15 min of the ocean. They have beautifull turkeys, adorable hogs with piglets and so many chickens and ducks. We loved being around so many animals, *but if don’t like roosters crowing predawn, this is not the place for you.
We stayed at camp #2 with a GORGEOUS live Oak. They space was clean and level with a camping toilet and shower and a great picnic table.
Site #1 does not have a gorgeous grand tree, but is more private and tucked away.
We ordered the farm fresh frittata, and it was delicious! We loved our experience at this charming camp spot.

Great location in the middle of trees and farm animals. Only 5 minutes to Hunting Island which is now one of my top beach destinations.
Belinda and her husband were very welcoming. I love their farm!

I can not write a review bc I didn't stay there. At our arrival gnats overwhelmed us. It is not the fault of the host. I was warned.
I am allergic to them and forfeited the fee.

Morning Glory Farm/Friendly Fowls
We camped on the site closest to the front of the home. When we arrived, our host Belinda greeted us and showed us where to park. After we setup, we purchased a dozen of fresh eggs laid by her “friendly fowl”.
Our site was very spacious with nice big tree canopies. I’m glad I took my screened gazebo, because lots of debris constantly fell from the trees. On day two we purchased $1 tablecloths to cover items left out on the table.
Since, we camped in my self contained teardrop trailer, we did not have to use the portable shower/toilet that was provided on the property. We also took along our camp stove, portable inverters and charging devices for our electrical items. There was a water hydrant on our site that was very handy. It was a bonus walking around the farm and watching the animals (hogs, goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and beehives). The rooster reminded us each morning around 05:15 that it was time to rise and shine and start a new day. We ignored him!
I recommend if you’re taking a trailer, not to forget your jockey wheel dock. The soil is very soft and sandy, so when we hooked up to leave, I could not raise the jockey wheel high enough to remove it (it had dug deep into the sand). For the hosts, I recommend cleaning cobwebs and debris from the portable shower house, since it is listed as an amenity.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommended Glory Farms. It is within 10-15 minutes of restaurants and other businesses in St Helena.
