The Host was Great!
My husband and son stayed here for 5 weeks. I came and visited on the weekends. It wasn't too far from anything. The host was great! We will be going again!

Our host, Ann, was very friendly and met us to make sure we were doing well. She even let my boys help feed her chicks, which they really enjoyed. The sites face in different directions and are tight, especially if there are many large rigs parked at the same time. We have a 35’ travel trailer and we barely fit along the fence, but we made it work. It is on a busy road, so there is some road noise. Overall, it was a good spot for two nights to see Savannah.

Exploring Savannah
The host was very nice and accommodating, We would stay here again if in the area! We loved the property and the huge live oaks covered in Spanish moss. The only downfall, in my opinion, was there is a lot of road noise.

We stayed here for 8 days, but wish we would have stayed longer! We didn't get to meet Catherine, but we had the joy of meeting and getting to know Ann. It was incredibly apparent how much Ann cares for the guests and the property. We spoke with her frequently and loved getting to know her. She brought us the BEST homemade blueberry muffins the first morning and was ready to provide us with an extension chord for our electric. We have a 30 foot fifth wheel and were a little worried about how to get out (another RV was blocking us so we had to go around the house), but Ann assured us we would be okay and guided us out and around the house! We hope to come back one day and see the growth of the property. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Beautiful live oaks
Our host was sweet and very helpful with tips for visiting local attractions. Camping space was open and easily accessible with several different trailer rigs. Water and electric a definite plus. Camping world just a few miles away was convenient for dumping tanks.

Great place to stay in Savannah!
Cathy’s Corner is awesome!
- Just north of Savannah
- 30 amp and water included
- Easy access from Highway 17
- Lots of parking/maneuvering room
- IGA grocery store nearby
- Southern Kafe on 17 has an amazing buffet—best fried chicken, mac and cheese, banana cream pudding. And low, low prices!
- Sweetest hosts ever! Ann and her sister Cathy go out of their way to make you feel welcome!
Note: Daytime traffic is rather busy, as it’s near a mill. Use your fan/AC at night to muffle sound.

Host was fantastic, very informative. Nice site. Clean. Fresh water available. Outside hot shower. Close to Savannah. On a busy road but not to loud vehicle noise. We'll be back to stay again.

Great location and wonderful host! Catherine met us and showed us around the property. The electric hookups were great so we could run the AC and cool down after spending the morning at the beach. The outdoor shower with hot water was a bonus! Very convenient to Savannah, we were able to get set up and run downtown to meet friends for dinner. Will definitely stay again when we have more time to explore the city…unfortunately we didn’t have the best weather as we were passing through, so our plans changed. Catherine was fascinating to chat with and a wealth of information! If you are a dog lover, she knows her stuff; she was kind enough to share some of her treatments for my pups. She is working hard to improve her property, doing most of the work herself. Well worth a stop a little off the beaten path.

Cathy was a terrific host! She greeted us when we arrived and explained what she had to offer on site. That included a gas grill, a fenced in dog area, an outdoor shower with hot water, and water and electric hookup. She also had a marine hose in case extra is needed. Location is great, about 30 miles away from downtown Savannah.

Reasonably priced close to Savannah
If you are looking for a reasonably priced option with electricity close to Savannah this fits the bill. Host was pleasant and helpful. She gave us directions to the store when I mentioned we needed to get some cheese (and even was kind enough to save us a trip by offering us some cheese from her own kitchen). She was very quick to respond to messages before we got there. Propane stove with side burner came in handy for early morning tea.
The spot is close to the road so you can hear cars going by and there are a lot of bright lights. This did bother us, but if you are looking for an out of the way spot, this may not be for you.
Many pluses: close to Savannah, electricity and water, clean, reasonably priced, along with accommodating and pleasant host.

Peaceful, dog friendly spot.
My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful spot under a gorgeous old live oak covered in Spanish moss. Anne (Catherine’s sister) was an extremely kind, welcoming, host and came out to meet us and chat a bit even though we arrived around 9pm with a last minute booking. The spot to park our rv was nice and flat and had an easy driveway to get in and out of with a separate entrance and exit. We only stayed one night as we were headed south but we would love to stop again on our way back up the coast.

Camping outside of Savannah
The host was very helpful and kind. We had plenty of space even for our 43’ coach. Easy to miss when driving by but just look for the gas pumps outside the house.

Just what I expected...
The site was as advertised... Site marked with white sticks and site numbers on the 30 amp outlets.
I was able to disconnect and move my towing vehicle away from my trailer. The site has plenty of room to maneuver. Nice Live Oaks surround the property.

Cute rustic house that you get to camp beside! Catherine was super sweet and met us when we got there and helped us get situated when our arrival time was delayed till after dark. There are eléctrica hookups and water hookups, though we did not need to use it. Even though it’s a corner lot with a road on either side, the road is pretty quiet at night so it’s not an issue at all. Catherine has some adorable pups, and she even had a treat for ours! We would definitely stay here again!

Great Visit in Georgia
I had a fantastic visit at Lida's Lair in Guyton, Georgia! The sight was beautiful and well kept under moss draped live oak trees. The host was friendly and accomodating and there to meet me when I arrived. The shower facility was clean and the water was hot! Definitely a great value and worth a visit! Thank Lida's Lair. I will be back.

Best Family Style Hospitality
We saw your nomination for best RV camp spot and we voted for Cathy’s Corner! This was our second stay here; we enjoy the quaint country atmosphere and family style hospitality. We had to do some repairs to the camper and the host was so sweet to lend us some tools we needed for the job. Thank you again, we will surely be back!

Was just what we needed. Just needed a cheap place to park with power while visiting Savannah. Has 30 amp plug and water hook ups. I only have two small critiques, though not a big deal.
We came in late, so it was hard to see where the actual camp area was. Better signage would've helped a lot.
The water was a bit far. I'd say the hook up is right at 60 ft from the furthest spot, which is lot 1. If you need water, lot number 2 may be easier for you with a shorter hose.

Anne, who runs the place is super nice and the lot is pretty cool too. There are lights all over the place(whether good or bad is up to you) I felt pretty safe during my stay. However the road is super busy and so has a lot of noise at night, but especially during the day. Would definitely be a good location to explore downtown though.
