It is located between campsites 3 and 4. Within a couple miles of our property there is mountain biking, hiking, lake access of swimming and boating. Bring your kayak to enjoy seeing Lake Nottely! We live on the property, and it is a working homestead. We have chickens (roosters crowing too, sometimes in early hours - sorry about that). We ask that you keep your dogs *at your camp site at all times* (we have had camper's dogs run through the field at us and scare us to pieces and we'd rather not experience that again! lol) Enjoy the sounds of the creek and put your tent on level land. We have firepits at each camp site. Firewood is available for purchase, just send us a message. We can deliver to your campsite. We also have tables and chairs for rent. We have farm fresh eggs! We are a working farm with staff tending to various jobs throughout the day. We have a map to show where the camping site sits on the property. We intentionally leave some of our fields uncut. In some fields, the grass can come up above the knees. We leave that to the animals to take care of. All of our staff are super friendly and happy to help guide you to the best camping spot and answer any questions. In searching for your campsite please note that there may be livestock in and around certain areas as we rotate pastures. Potable well water can be located from the blue spigot outside of the staff housing area, in between the orange and green tiny home, and outside the outdoor shower. Lizardsniffer is a working horse farm with a variety of rental cabins and RV slips. We DO allow tent camping. Each RV slip has water, septic, 50 amp service and Wifi. An Amenities Cabin is provided for use by all RV site guests. The cabin includes a full-sized washer/dryer, a full bathroom with bidet, and an oversized jacuzzi tub. Guests must sign-up for a 4-hour timeslot. The cabin is available for use between the hours of 8am-8pm. Many of our RV sites feature private fenced paddocks for people bringing their horses or dogs. Horse visitors require all current paperwork (Coggins, etc.). Dog visitors must be social and friendly and thus are allowed to explore the farm with their owners off-leash if desired. Well kept, shady spots (1-3). Site #1 looks out over a beautiful pasture where we repeatedly saw deer grazing. Convenient to town but not within walking distance. Would definitely choose this site if in the area again. Our host, William was responsive to email requests and questions.

1 night at Blackwater Ranch - River Camping

Blackwater Ranch is a real gem of a property. Lots of activities, plenty of space, and tons of easy access to the river, which is the star of the show. One of the unique features of rivers in this area is their white sand beaches and Blackwater Ranch has some of the best I've seen. The river was low when I visited (drought) but I can tell that even when full it is a fairly shallow and slow moving river with multiple spots that stay shallow due to the way the water deposits sand, making it a great river for younger kids. Even the bugs weren't too bad, which being summer in FL/GA was a welcome surprise. The property is equipped with the necessities for a comfortable experience (water, electricity, pit toilet) but still very primitive and rustic. I camped one night solo but will certainly be back with a group of friends!

4 nights at Piney Hills Campground

The place was absolutely lovely, even though the campsite say $30 a night with the service fee from hipcamp it makes it $40 a night it was still doable,we stayed in campsite 5 and even though our tent was bigger than the wooden covered pad for putting your tent on it still had a great spot to put our larger tent up. We had pre-ordered firewood and it was stacked nicely buy the fire pit upon our arrival. We were there for relaxation but if you're going there expecting the wi-fi at camp 5 that's not going to happen but just driving up to the main office or the covered bench by the horse corral you got it if you needed it to check in with family. Next time I think I'll go to the campsite 4 which has the Wi-Fi constantly. Unfortunately there were a lot of flies there but with a quick trip to the Dollar general we got fly strips and that maintained them from being our problem. It was cool at night being able to hear the farm animals and the rooster and just nature. We did get some rain during the day and one night, and having it covered tent pad became our outdoor patio and was able to enjoy the rainstorm and stay dry instead of in the tent. Needless to say we had a wonderful time there and do plan on going back.....soon

Deer Valley RV Park was so clean and tranquil. It's my favorite from all my travels. It's small and I love that as we travel without pets or children. Bill was a terrific host. We loved our stay. It does not have a bath house or washing machines. We just went to a laundry mat.

The camper was well perserved and renovated where needed. We slept comfortably over the 4 nights we stayed. We toured the grounds and the short hikes and enjoyed them. The location is great with easy access to Savannah and surrounding areas.

Weekend Trip to Lakefront get away

Quiet campsite in the country. Was greeted by Michael shortly after arrival. He was very welcoming and provided a quick overview of the utilities and property layout. Water access is about 75 yards away. There is one neighboring campsite. Area was pet friendly. Overall a great stay and was a quiet, relaxing escape. Would highly recommend to others.

I booked the camper thinking it was going to be a solo trip. My boyfriend joined in last minute. He is not at all the outdoorsy camper type but he loved everything about Glam Camp! Great location, excellent host, cutest campers. We had a great weekend!
