Property is 2.5 miles to I-95. It is a short drive to Savannah, Hilton Head, Tybee Island. Situated on 21 acres of natural forest with a small lagoon and one edge sits along the marsh. It is a quiet and peaceful place to enjoy nature and the stars at night. Located near Fort Stewart, Cay Creek preserve is also near.

Thank you for booking with us, the coordinates for the property is 31.776248, -81.404036. Enter through wooden gateway with Hipcamp Signs, it is also lit at night, follow dirt road back to open area park at the 2nd site. Please do not block driveway. You may explore the property, and fish in the pond. Do not put wood on the grill, it is for charcoal only. Lights are solar use on the campsite as desired, but please return to where you find them so they charge. Please don’t put food in the fire pits or the woods it will attract animals. Bug spray is recommended, sun screen with coconut oil works well also. Trash cans are available at the exit near the portable toilet for disposal of food and other trash. Firewood is available for $10 per night it can be purchased through Hipcamp extras.

This place was a calm, relaxing area to spend your time. The people that own it were very kind and welcoming. The bathrooms were very clean and sanitized. It was a very cheap get away which is nice and a plus for it being so well cleanly kept.

The host was extremely responsive and very helpful! The site was easy to find, and everything we needed was visible and easy to get to. It was beautiful, quiet, and we loved watching the stars over a campfire. We only spent the night but I’d go back in a heart beat!

Great Spot, Great Hosts

Steve and April’s property is beautiful, easily accessible, and perfect for a stopover. I was in a campervan and the sites were flat and nicely spread out. I had a wonderful time until I tried to turn around on the narrow road outside of the site and got stuck in a ditch. Totally my fault, but Steve came to my rescue and pulled me out with his tractor. Above and beyond and I am grateful to him for saving me $350 tow truck bill. I would absolutely stay here again and look forward to coming back to check out the winery.

We were just traveling through georgia on our way back home and stopped here. The site was gorgeous and I would definitely recommend even for longer stays. Plenty of fire wood, a charcoal grill and even some lights on each spot. :) the lagoon and crickets at night were nice as well. If youre lucky youll hear an owl like we did!

Tent camping here was great. Lots of clear areas to setup your camp. Tons of firewood onsite! Lots of land to explore! We will be back for sure!

Lovely, peaceful area surrounded by trees and the beginnings of a vineyard! The street leading to the farm was lovely as well. And April and her husband couldn’t have been friendlier! Their dogs too! Highly recommend!

This site was super convenient for last minute camping accommodations. Stayed here to visit Savannah, and will be returning. Good spot on the way to and from Florida. Gas stations and highway nearby. Not private, tent spots are right next to each other, but it didn't bother us. No bathhouses, but portapotties weren't bad and were close. Super chill.

Nice little secluded spot, I was pretty tired and had to leave early the next morning, so I did not get to explore much. Seemed quite nice with a pond, picnic tables, and plenty of space!

This is a lovely sight. The owners were communicative and kind. They have plenty of firewood, porta potty on sight. It was a really fantastic first time use of Hipcampers. Some general thoughts for owners! I unfortunately pulled in late into the night and was unsure which specific sights were available, a crude map and colored lights of some kind to distinguish which sights were available would be helpful.

Some of the highlights of this hip camp were picnic tables, fire rings, firewood on site, CLEAN portolet, and it’s dark and quiet nature. This was a last minute reservation because our planned hip camp canceled at the last minute (day prior). Unfortunately this left us one hour north of our desired location (St Mary’s/ Cumberland Is NS)

I went back. Just as great as the first trip. It was lovely meeting one of the owners who brought out a tractor to move firewood closer to our site, just to save us a few steps. Sites were clean, quiet and pleasant again. Defo will keep this site in my saved list.

I’ve stayed here a couple times now on the way to Florida and absolutely love it. Serene vibes. Lovely fires. Bathroom too! Can’t beat it for the price.

I will be back. The site was well maintained. Firewood is easily accessible if you pay for it, which was also super convenient. Very little to no light pollution or sound. Spaces are wide enough to feel private and the site is easy to find. The owner is very responsive. I definitely look forward to our next visit.

Here’s a short and sweet campsite review based on your notes: --- Only stayed one night, but it was perfect. The property was spotlessly clean, (especially the portapot), very private, and wonderfully quiet. Highly recommend buying the excellent firewood—burns great and made the stay even cozier. Would definitely return!

Nice secluded site with a great view of the stars. If you want silence this isn't your spot as the interstate is very audible but if that doesn't you then I highly recommend this location.

Overall we had a nice experience. We just wished they had bathrooms with a sink for washing your face not just a port a potty. Easy to find. Clean area. Easy to get in touch with a person for questions.

If I could live here, I would. As it is, I’ll just visit while I can! The IGA is 6 min away but when you’re there it’s 600 miles away. There is wildlife and neighbors. My only complaint is I’ve discovered I’m allergic to no-see-ems and they live here. So strong bug repellent, but if you have a problem with that, camping isn’t for you anyway :D
