It was a great value. You get a lot of fire wood for an additional charge. The pond had tiny fish. The porter johns where clean. The sites are a little bit closer together than I thought. The owners have two dogs that run free and will wonder by to see you. They are friendly.

This was a great spot to spend an afternoon and night in Folkston. The campsite pads and facilities are in excellent condition and well maintained. We are railfans so we enjoyed the trackside location. Twenty six trains passed through town during our stay. The Folkston railfan park is adjacent to the campsite. The Okefenokee Swamp visitor center is a short drive away and worth a visit.

We loved camping on Ricki’s property! We booked the field & pond site, which was very beautiful. It was a bit warm down by the water so we asked to move to higher ground between the large growth trees and the breeze & sunset was so nice from that spot. Ricki was so nice and accommodating, she brought us fresh eggs and homemade jam, which were both very delicious. We loved getting to walk around the property after our long drive and see the farm animals, including the newly born calf! This place was a magical little gem & we’ll definitely will be back when in the area again!

The site was in the corner which was fine for me! Since this was my first time camping, I think the area was ok! The host did inform me of an alligator nearby which was alarming, but I never saw and took precautions against seeing it! The area was serene and quiet. The host and her husband were very friendly and sweet! I would recommend staying here whether for an overnight or several nights!!!

When we first arrived we didn’t realize that we had booked an RV site which was in the field and lacks privacy. April was quick to find alternative sites for us to camp at and we ended up staying at one of the tent sites. It was beautiful and much more private. April’s place is dog friendly and my puppers enjoyed being off-leash. They also provided firewood at a very reasonable rate. We would absolutely stay again! Only con was the bugs, but… that’s camping!

We loved this place so much we stayed an extra night. A beautiful, quiet spot on the bank of the While Chimney River, Belle Bluff Island campground is high on our return-someday list. Whether it’s fishing from the dock or listening to Richard, aka “The Mayor,” tell stories, this is a place to go if you’re looking to kick back and relax. Owner Ron McIntosh is a real gentleman - he graciously let us upgrade to an unoccupied larger site with a full view of the river and marsh. Two big thumbs up!
