Our two level (full hookup) RV pads are on beautiful Anastasia Island within walking distance to the Atlantic ocean, Pier Court Park and the St. Augustine Amphitheater. Anastasia State Park is within a mile. St. Augustine is just over the Bridge of Lions three miles away.
Each pad has its own furnished patio and small green yard space. We have a small fishing lake in the back yard (unfenced). There is a national bird rookery preserve a few blocks away so the bird watching is wonderful. There is an alligator farm and a dolphin aquarium on the island., as well as a historic continuous working light house and Maritime Museum. Our pads are just across the Bridge of Lions (2 miles) from the Oldest USA city, St. Augustine, Fl. The historic Fountain of Youth is here along with Castillo de San Marcus National Monument, St. George Street, the historic district plus many other attractions.
We have two level paver RV Pads. They both have electric, black and grey water cleanout, fast high speed internet (full hookup). They each have private patios for picnics, socializing, and relaxing. Both pads have high speed internet.
Pad 1 accommodates an RV up to up to 28' in length.
Pad 2 accommodates an RV up to 34' in length.
We accept small Class A Motorhomes (34' and under), Class B, Class C, Small 5th Wheel, Pop-up Campers, Vans and Travel Trailers.
Sorry, no tent camping is allowed.
There is also a large back deck with picnic area overlooking the small fishing lake in the back yard.
We enjoy meeting fellow travelers and sharing our paradise island.
We are LGBTQ friendly.
Our neighborhood is quiet and safe.
The location has easy access to great adventures, history and wonderful memories may be made here.

You'll have the camp site all to yourself--we sometimes need to water the garden, but otherwise avoid the camping area when it's occupied. Enjoy a variety of seating areas on our half acre lot full of fruit trees and flowers, or watch the sunset from the hot tub. Camping is easy with washer, dryer, fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, coffee pot, toaster and blender, all in an air-conditioned shed. Don't want to cook inside? Use the propane Jennair grill with gazebo and lights. Clean up is a breeze with our stainless steel triple sink and 4 gal hot water tank.
We're one block off US1 and 10-15 minutes by car to beach and downtown. Hang out around our stone fire pit or sit at our 6 person table with solar powered lighted umbrella. Wifi, electric and water included. Porta potty and outdoor shower with 8 gal. hot water tank. Two large outdoor sinks, one with 4 gal. hot water tank, the other one shares the 8 gal. tank with the shower. Two locked gates in our chain link fence allow most RVs the option to pull through or back in. Water and 30A electric hookup located at corner of concrete pad, next to the Jennair gas grill. Relax on our Broyhill couch and easy chairs under the awning, and enjoy our latest addition, a fire table. Hang out in the new gazebo with mosquito netting and fabric panels on a Trex deck with a polycarbonate roof. Keep an eye out for hawks, owls, osprey and ibis. If you are extra lucky, you might spot our resident gopher tortoise! (If you do, please enjoy from a distance, they are protected.)

Tennis court, pickle ball courts and a play ground is across the street. 20-30 min to Daytona Beach or historic St.Augustine. A little over an hour to Orlando with Disney, Universal and other parks, Jacksonville or Cape Canaveral. Whatever your interest is - you can find it around - many of restaurants, wine tasting, fresh food market 7 days a week, NASCAR, Auditorium with performances, water sports, bike week, movie theater, and many more.

(Be prepared for a lot of rooster crowing EARLY in the mornings). Our campsite was level and had water and electric. It was not too close to the other campers who were there and we had plenty of privacy. Star gazing was awesome! Highly recommend."

Rooterville is a nonprofit sanctuary, home to approx 100 rescued farm animals of all types, THEY make it an amazing place to visit! When you stay with us, you are welcome to explore the sanctuary and interact with the animals after a brief introduction. The only place off limits is our cow pasture. But you can book a cow cuddle if you'd like to hug the fluffy cows, especially the Highland cow. It is a wonderful experience for the cow lovers.
Come on out to the country for the experience of a lifetime interacting with sweet farm animals in luxury accommodations or bring your own RV or a tent and "rough" it in your choice of spots on our beautiful 20 acre property surrounded by lots of amazing wild creatures of all sorts and our friendly animal ambassadors. We have butterfly gardens, one with a bee hive, and we're surrounded by natural woodlands in a convenient yet private and peaceful setting.
Maybe you'll spot a bald eagle getting a meal from our ponds!
There's so much to see and enjoy right here at the sanctuary, we have over 100 rescued animals who can't wait to meet you and maybe bum a snack from you too. You are welcome to bring snacks to feed the animals or buy some from our gift shop.
If you get bored, there is plenty to do nearby:

Brand new waterfront tiny house with amazing sunsets and views 😍 Message me for weekly and monthly significant discounts. Bring your boat and toys as there’s so much to do in nature. Fish off the deck or from the yard, zip over to the springs in 10 minutes or head over to the St Johns river for a meal. Lawn games anre under the 5th wheel to use. There is a camp store on site for snacks, bait, drinks, ice, fire wood etc. and there are board games up there that you’re welcome to check out. We are surrounded by conservation land and we have one of the highest populations of bald eagles. We also have friendly squirrels that love to tap on the door for nuts 🥜 in the morning. This was a quiet spot at the end of a short residential street. Very private, large flat space. Easy access to trash cans, water spigot and electric hookup. Four chairs out by the fire pit, a hammock and a swing. 20 mins to Historic downtown St Augustine. Great stay. There was enough space for the dogs to have a little space to play.

This was a great location only about 13 minutes away from the main attractions of St. Augustine FL. We had full hookups Robert and Sherri were amazing at helping us find some gems in the cities food scene. I couldn't have asked for a better site that's close to everything.

We had a beautiful weekend at Holly’s place. The kayaking was wonderful and we spent a day paddling up to Deep Creek. We also spent a day in St Augustine which was only a 30 min drive. Great wildlife viewing and very peaceful. We highly recommend this campsite.

We enjoyed our stay at Anthony’s. He is a most gracious host. Parking was spacious and level, and our doodle very much enjoyed the secluded, fully fenced property and grassy play area. Very dog friendly! We found it easy to navigate into old town Saint Augustine. If our travel plans, bring us back to Saint Augustine, we will most certainly stay here again! This was a perfect spot for exploring St Augustine while being tucked away in a very quiet, peaceful setting. The hosts were super friendly and very accommodating. Our 33 ft skoolie fit inside the yard with room to spare. The site was very safe, secure, and well lit, which made us feel very comfortable going outside at night. We rarely venture out of our rig at night, so that was a welcome change of pace. We liked it here so much that we extended our stay! If we pass through St Augustine again, we will definitely return to this awesome spot!!

About
Discover the oldest masonry fort in the continental United States in St. Augustine, Florida. The Castillo offers plenty to do year-round, thanks to Florida's warm climate, so you'll never have a dull moment. Period-dressed volunteers and Rangers hold cannon firings four times per day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Make your way up to the gun deck to see the city to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. From this vantage point, you can see why the Spanish decided to build a fort here. The Castillo protected any ships going in and out of port, as well as a perfect defense for the city.
In its more than 300 years of history, this fort was never taken in battle. It's probably because the thick walls were fireproof and could handle cannon fire from ships entering the harbor. When the Spanish built the Castillo, they built it to last.
The Spanish controlled St. Augustine to lay claim to this part of the New World. This fort represented the crown's assertion that Florida belonged to Spain. It wasn't until 1821 that the territory became part of the United States. When the British controlled Florida in the late 1700s, held prisoners from the Revolutionary War here. Three signers of the Declaration of Independence spent time within the Castillo's thick stone walls.
St. Augustine is a beautiful city filled with history and a vibrant culture. The Castillo is just one stop of many to see in the oldest city in America. Plenty of campsites in the area offer year-round options for you and your family.

What an amazing experience to visit a real fortress and castle that was built in the most ancient city in American history. It was as though I was visiting castles like when I did in Europe. I could feel the history.
