We are one mile south of the NE FL Regional Airport and it's not unusual to see a biplane practising barrel rolls for an air show. We are 30-45 minutes from Jacksonville, birthplace of the Blue Angels, and 15 minutes from downtown St. Augustine, the nation's oldest continuously occupied city. Message me for discounts on long-term stays. Learn more about this land: Bring your tent, van or small camper and share our slice of paradise! You'll have the camp site all to yourself--we sometimes need to water the garden, but otherwise avoid the camping area when it's occupied. Enjoy a variety of seating areas on our half acre lot full of fruit trees and flowers, or watch the sunset from the hot tub. Camping is easy with washer, dryer, fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, coffee pot, toaster and blender, all in an air-conditioned shed. Don't want to cook inside? Use the propane Jennair grill with gazebo and lights. Clean up is a breeze with our stainless steel triple sink and 4 gal hot water tank. We're one block off US1 and 10-15 minutes by car to beach and downtown. Hang out around our stone fire pit or sit at our 6 person table with solar powered lighted umbrella. Wifi, electric and water included. Porta potty and outdoor shower with 8 gal. hot water tank. Two large outdoor sinks, one with 4 gal. hot water tank. Two locked gates in our chain link fence allow most RVs the option to pull through or back in. Water and 30A electric hookup located at corner of concrete pad, next to the Jennair gas grill. Relax on our Broyhill couch and easy chairs under the awning, and enjoy our latest addition, a fire table. Hang out in the new gazebo with mosquito netting and fabric panels on a Trex deck with a polycarbonate roof. Keep an eye out for hawks, owls, osprey and ibis. Stayed 2 nights. Camping with tents. At the time of this review, there was a drought, so the river was extremely low. Property was very well kept, clean, and a great central location if you don’t want to be too far away from everything. Hopefully next time the rain has raised the river so we could do the full runs, up and down stream. The water was nice and cool, great for the warmer days we had in November. We will definitely be returning. Great site.

Brian’s property was a great spot for us! He greeted us and lead us to our spot and then we found out his wife Phyllis bakes muffins and cookies so we bought some muffins for breakfast. They were delicious! We had a problem with our RV not starting on the morning we were supposed to leave and Brian was extremely helpful in giving us assistance with finding a mechanic that could help us. Brian even towed our bus to the repair shop with his tractor! We were very grateful and would definitely recommend this property because of its safe location and the wonderful people who own it. Great Hipcamp experience!

Great Stay…. Host is awesome with communications. When I arrived, Jen came out to greet me. She shared some of the places in town to eat and things to do. Finding the place was very easy, although I encourage you to come in while the sun is up…. It gets really dark. The sky is wonderfully dark at night. I thought I saw shooting stars, but based on the news it was a Chinese rocket falling…. Regardless, the dark skies made the star gazing extraordinary. The place is about 20 minutes from St. Augustine, which was perfect for me. The Venus camping spot is very close to the road, but there was no traffic to speak of all night on that road. The Venus camping spot could hold my 20 foot truck, but I wouldn’t try fitting in a rig any bigger. The animals are all friendly and Jen encouraged me to pet them. She did share to pet the pigs on the top of their heads, least the pigs think I am giving them some food. 😊 Besides the chickens, there were lots of birds, including some miniature hummingbirds, that visited. I will absolutely be back! Great place, great host.

This is a great place for children and rv camping. Lots of toys, cars, and trucks for the kids to play with. The St. Mary's river borders the property and is accessible for wading, swimming, and fishing. The property itself is very nice with some secluded spots if you want to do some primitive tent camping. There are port-o-let style toilets with a sink and access to potable water.

Campsites are on a small horse farm located just 4 miles from downtown St Augustine and 5 miles from Vilano Beach. Many hiking and water activities within 30 minutes. You select the space you where you wish to set up camp. The entrance off the dirt road is tricky for large rigs or trailers more than 35' may not have easy access. Our sites offer potable water, a shower, picnic tables, a toilet, wifi, trash disposal, space for campfires, and we are pet friendly! We can accommodate tents, RVs, and trailers. Our guests love staying here: "Camping at Gayle’s property was an amazing experience. We shared the field with 3 other campers but there was still plenty of room between sites. Land is flat and has fire pit spaces and BBQ grills. Outdoor shower was appreciated even though we didn’t use it & it was great to have the port-o-potty on site. The best part was getting to see the animals!"

Our two level (full hookup) RV pads are on beautiful Anastasia Island within walking distance to the Atlantic ocean, Pier Court Park and the St. Augustine Amphitheater. Anastasia State Park is within a mile. St. Augustine is just over the Bridge of Lions three miles away. Each pad has its own furnished patio and small green yard space. We have a small fishing lake in the back yard (unfenced). There is a national bird rookery preserve a few blocks away so the bird watching is wonderful. There is an alligator farm and a dolphin aquarium on the island., as well as a historic continuous working light house and Maritime Museum. Our pads are just across the Bridge of Lions (2 miles) from the Oldest USA city, St. Augustine, Fl. The historic Fountain of Youth is here along with Castillo de San Marcus National Monument, St. George Street, the historic district plus many other attractions. We have two level paver RV Pads. They both have electric, black and grey water cleanout, fast high speed internet (full hookup). They each have private patios for picnics, socializing, and relaxing. Both pads have high speed internet. Pad 1 accommodates an RV up to up to 32' in length. Pad 2 accommodates an RV up to 34' in length. We accept small Class A Motorhomes (32' and under), Class B, Class C, Small 5th Wheel, Pop-up Campers, Vans and Travel Trailers. Sorry, no tent camping is allowed. There is also a large back deck with picnic area overlooking the small fishing lake in the back yard. We enjoy meeting fellow travelers and sharing our paradise island. We are LGBTQ friendly. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe. The location has easy access to great adventures, history and wonderful memories may be made here. When the "blue roof cottage by the tracks" (yes, it used to have a unique blue roof) hit the market in early 2021, we knew it had to be ours! We purchased it & flipped it into a vacation home for guests of Folkston .. and The Conductor's Corner was born. Because we are also avid RV'ers, we thought what better way to finish off our corner than to add a few first-class RV sites to accommodate the camping community. We hope you enjoy your stay on our corner! In a small town in the south, where the Okefenokee Swamp runs deep and railfans thrive, the Conductor’s Corner stands out. The Conductor’s Corner features 3 premium RV sites directly on the rail lines of the Folkston Funnel. This railfan's dream neighbors the Folkston Railfan Train Platform. The spacious concrete pads are perfect for a night of watching trains under the stars. 20x50 concrete pads with 30/50 amp power, water, sewer, Wifi & picnic tables. A quick 3 minute walk from the Conductor’s Corner will lead to the heart of Main Street where visitors will find a plethora of hidden treasures: coffee shops, boutiques, local eateries, the Train Museum and so much more. Guests could spend a day exploring the habitats and waterways of the Okefenokee Swamp or take a short drive to neighboring communities such as Cumberland Island, Savannah, Golden Isles or Amelia Island or Jacksonville in Florida.
