An outhouse / composting toilet is currently under construction with the rain water collection system now complete. In the meantime a portable toilet is provided. A potable water station is available and built from re-purposed materials and wood harvested locally. We are a working farm. We supply every Lucky's Market location with fresh turmeric and a host of stores with our blueberries. We also have an active u-pick program during the blueberry and peach harvests (late March to early June) that is available to Hip Campers. There are multiple springs within 30 miles in various directions - some of them of First Magnitude volume. Ichetucknee Springs offers excellent river rafting. This is the beautiful wild coast of Florida's "Big Bend." Located halfway between Perry to the north and Steinhatchee to the south, Keaton Beach is an outpost town with a laidback, relaxing atmosphere. No motels, no fast food. The wild, natural public beach has a shaded picnic area, restrooms, a boat ramp and a 700-foot fishing pier. These are prime scalloping waters from mid to late summer, and the area is famous for year-round fishing. We recently bought this property with an old hunting cabin owned by a well known baseball coach. The cabin is currently transformed into a residence. We have 4 RV spots available in the front of the property.. Only an 8 minute drive to the sandy swimming beach of Keaton Beach (see pic above) or 20 min walking distance to Adams Sunset Beach. Stop by on your way to South Florida or up north. We do not have a maximum stay..

Frank Page purchased the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground in 2008 which included the original seven acres of the lower portion of the Rendezvous. At that time there were only a few buildings and the primitive campground area. Frank started cleaning the area and stabilizing all the buildings. In 2009 another 20 acres was purchased, which is now considered the upper area of the Rendezvous. In 2010, another seven acres were added to the property. Frank planned and constructed the Upper Rendezvous area which was completed in 2012 and added 136 RV sites as well as the dog park, barn and pigeon coop. The dog park has five sections, for both small and large dogs, with ample room to run.

Frank began raising pigeons in 2012. The first pigeons purchased were homing pigeons, which started the Pigeon Races that are still a fun, family favorite event on Saturday afternoons. Frank also bought and started raising other pigeons, the Birmingham Roller. Birmingham Rollers are a very popular breed of domesticated pigeons that originated in Birmingham, England, where they were developed via selective breeding for their ability to do rapid backward somersaults while flying. You can often see them flying around the Upper Rendezvous in the mornings and afternoons. These pigeons are used for our weekly Pigeon Races.

Set on over 60 acres along the Suwannee River, this historic property (formerly known as Suwannee River Cove) is under new ownership and being thoughtfully restored and reimagined as Oaken River. Towering oak trees — some hundreds of years old — provide shade, character, and a peaceful sense of place throughout the grounds.
While RV sites are set back from the river for privacy and space, guests enjoy the riverfront experience through shared common areas by the water, including a lanai, firepit, fountain area, and oak-shaded gathering spots.
A private boat ramp on the property allows guests to easily launch kayaks and small watercraft. River levels vary seasonally, and at times the ramp is best suited for hand-launched or paddle craft.
The Suwannee River region is known for its natural beauty and access to multiple freshwater springs and state parks, many within a 10–45 minute drive. Wildlife is part of daily life here — deer are frequently seen on the property, along with birds and other native species.

Spend time at our private campsite. It’s the perfect location if you wish to be surrounded by nature, but not completely away from all amenities. Located in the heart of springs country, many of Florida's parks and rivers are mere minutes away! We offer 1 acre of wooded land in a rural community. You will have the entire acre to yourself during your stay. The front 1/2 acre is set up for you to enjoy easy entrance and setup. Our property has a 50 amp plug, GFI 3 prong outlets and water. Picnic table and fire ring are on site as well. We are a cart and side by side friendly community which is a great way to view the abundant wildlife. We hope you enjoy the area as much as we do! Here are just a few parks to visit nearby. Please note that we are a rural community and at this time garbage service is not available. You will have to take out everything you bring with you when you leave. This is a wooded area. Along with the beautiful wildlife comes some not so beautiful wildlife. This could include mosquitoes, spiders, etc., and other creepy crawlies…

Primitive Campsite one was perfect, I love the open grounds and access to the water. Access to the Springs from the water, nights were still nice and cool. Make sure to keep an eye on fire bans in the area. Will be back!!

April greeted us shortly after we set up and sent us water sports options and directions to the best of the springs! It was a nice secluded spot. My husband saw deer in the morning and April's chicken greeted us, too! Port-a-pottie was clean, well kept and no smell! Everything you would need was there.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is well kept and feels secluded but you’re less than 5 min from a few stores and restaurants. There’s no visual barrier between the one neighbor but they were polite and not intrusive at all. It’s a very quiet area and it was great to kick back and relax. We loved hanging out by the river and our dogs were in heaven.

We had a great time at Bowman's Landing! The primitive camping was exactly what we wanted. Clean campsite, great view of the river, unexpected collection of amenities including a coffee maker at the host camp. Proximity to the springs was super convenient.

Very nice campsite to enjoy nicely wooded sights and short walk to the water from r v site. The primitive sites are along the water bank, and the water was gorgeous, almost crystal clear. Clean bathrooms and showers and even complementary coffee
As well as canoes for rental and plenty of barbecue pits to use. The entire campground was totally infested with wildlife which was beautiful to see and hear. Some of the largest pilated woodpeckers, i've ever seen. I recommend this site for those that enjoy the river, and want a little peace and quite. The host was friendly and gave a great tour of the grounds, then left us alone which was perfectly to my liking.

We absolutely loved being right on the river! We were tent camping and had lots of space to spread out in the private grounds (we knew in advance that there were no restroom facilities on the property). And being able to use the two kayaks was a nice bonus.

This was such a nice secluded place to stay overnight on a longer trip-
Kids had so much fun just walking around catching lizards and wildlife and learning right outside the door!
Shower, ac, WiFi, parking, fridge and all was perfectly good and useful
Would definitely recommend this
I would download the surrounding area on maps so you can navigate without connection to WiFi, it is very secluded!
Also recommend getting food from outside the city because it’s very sparse, stock up on gas too!

We enjoyed our weekend! It was very peaceful with lots of birds and jumping sturgeon. The boat traffic on the Suwanee starts early but we are early risers and it didn't bother us during the day.
Signage was great. Water & electricity were great. There is a nice picnic table overlooking the river and a few similarly situated benches. Lots of shade. Not a speck of trash or the "debris" typical of hipcamp sites. The landowner was very nice and quick to respond. The instructions provided were detailed and accurate. Getting in to the spot honed my mediocre trailer towing skills but there was plenty of room for us (26' overall length on the trailer + Ford F150; lots of shade means lots of trees). It is outside of the Hipcamp site but at one point the road in is very narrow with a sunken road bed and overhanging trees and we had the unfortunate timing to hit that section as a tractor was passing. So keep an eye out for that on the way in.
The waste dump is an old septic tank located in a corner of the cleared area. Accessing it was beyond my trailer-backing skill and there were a few downed trees in the way. The land owner was going to work on improving access though.
I definitely recommend this hipcamp and we will likely be back!
