We offer three Amish built log cabins at our RV Campground. Fisherman and Hunter's Cabin has a one bedroom with queen size bed and a set of bunk beds in the living area. They sleep up to four people. Two burner stove top, full size microwave and refrigerator. Full size bathroom with large walk-in shower. The Gator Hut offers a queen bed with a bunk bed over and sleeps up to three people. All the cabins are fully furnished with towels and linens as well as dishes, cooking utensils and coffee pot, smart TV with cable tv and Wi-Fi is included. The Campground is fenced and gated and we are pet friendly. There is a laundry facility on site for the guests. There is a fire pit if you want to relax. In the summer we have a stock tank pool (opens in April) to cool off after a long day on the water. Steinhatchee is located in Taylor County Florida along the Gulf of America. Inshore and offshore fishing is year-round. Scallop season is June 15 to Labor Day. More than 20 springs are located within 45 minutes of Steinhatchee. Too numerous to count are the Florida Wildlife Management areas that are accessible by car and allow for bird watching and animal siting of deer and wild boar. Steinhatchee River is a kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding experience. The local restaurants/Marinas are within five minutes of the campground. Live music is available at the restaurants.

Frank Page purchased the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground in 2008 which included the original seven acres of the lower portion of the Rendezvous. At that time there were only a few buildings and the primitive campground area. Frank started cleaning the area and stabilizing all the buildings. In 2009 another 20 acres was purchased, which is now considered the upper area of the Rendezvous. In 2010, another seven acres were added to the property. Frank planned and constructed the Upper Rendezvous area which was completed in 2012 and added 136 RV sites as well as the dog park, barn and pigeon coop. The dog park has five sections, for both small and large dogs, with ample room to run. Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground Pool Frank began raising pigeons in 2012. The first pigeons purchased were homing pigeons, which started the Pigeon Races that are still a fun, family favorite event on Saturday afternoons. Frank also bought and started raising other pigeons, the Birmingham Roller. Birmingham Rollers are a very popular breed of domesticated pigeons that originated in Birmingham, England, where they were developed via selective breeding for their ability to do rapid backward somersaults while flying. You can often see them flying around the Upper Rendezvous in the mornings and afternoons. These pigeons are used for our weekly Pigeon Races.

Weekend Trip to Bowman's Landing

Our stay was FANTASTIC. The staff was extremely hospitable and treated us like family members who they wanted to be as comfortable and have as much fun as possible. The grounds are cute and well kept. There is so much to do at the site and perfect for campers with kids. If you want even more adventure you need only drive 10 min to the nearby springs. Would highly recommend, especially if you love swimming. We definitely plan on staying again!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Bowmans. Even though it was a weekend, we felt it was very quiet and private. The cabin had everything we needed. Easy road access. The hose is super nice. Greeted us as soon as we arrived and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay.

Kevin’s property was absolutely amazing! The entire property was beautifully maintained, very well kept, and clearly shows the pride and care put into it. Everything was clean, peaceful, and made for a wonderful camping experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to get away. We would definitely stay here again!

Kokomo Farms is such a refreshing and magical escape from reality! 🌿✨ There’s so much to do and explore, and getting up close with the animals and feeding them treats is such a sweet experience. The greenhouse is beautiful, with so many plants for sale! The gentleman who welcomes you is incredibly sweet and makes you feel right at home. And of course, a special shoutout to SweetPea the parrot! 🦜💚 Such a charming, wholesome experience that everyone should get to enjoy!

Had an awesome time the second time around! This is definitely a go-to spot for being on the River. Bring tick repellent - ticks are REAL bad in these woods! Grill grate over the fire pit makes for 5-star camping meals. The bathrooms and complimentary coffee station make Bowman’s feel like a slice of comfort during a rugged get-away. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

7 nights at Gulf Coast RV Site

Let’s start with THE VIEW! Oh my word! It is stunning! The large deck is the perfect place to be all day! We saw so much wildlife - fiddler crabs, fish, Egrets, Hawks, and more. If you have a good clear sky at night, turn off all your camper lights and go outside and look at the stars! Amazing! The site accommodated our 36ft camper with slides on both slides comfortably. We had to back it in at an angle to reach all the hook ups, but it worked nicely. We were looking for a week of rest, relaxation and disconnection from the world, and that is exactly what we found. If you need internet, you need to have Starlink or some other service. We have T-Mobile, and we were able to use our phones all week, but our hot spot was not reliable, but since we were looking for a quiet week, this was perfect! The hosts are great! Communicated well! Very accommodating! We can’t wait to come back!
