Frank Page purchased the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground in 2008 which included the original seven acres of the lower portion of the Rendezvous. At that time there were only a few buildings and the primitive campground area. Frank started cleaning the area and stabilizing all the buildings. In 2009 another 20 acres was purchased, which is now considered the upper area of the Rendezvous. In 2010, another seven acres were added to the property. Frank planned and constructed the Upper Rendezvous area which was completed in 2012 and added 136 RV sites as well as the dog park, barn and pigeon coop. The dog park has five sections, for both small and large dogs, with ample room to run. Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground Pool Frank began raising pigeons in 2012. The first pigeons purchased were homing pigeons, which started the Pigeon Races that are still a fun, family favorite event on Saturday afternoons. Frank also bought and started raising other pigeons, the Birmingham Roller. Birmingham Rollers are a very popular breed of domesticated pigeons that originated in Birmingham, England, where they were developed via selective breeding for their ability to do rapid backward somersaults while flying. You can often see them flying around the Upper Rendezvous in the mornings and afternoons. These pigeons are used for our weekly Pigeon Races.

The campsite was purpose-built for friends and family who come to visit this slice of paradise we call home. Ideally located in the heart of spring country in North Central Florida, we have over 18 major springs within a 50-mile radius of this location, which allows for all the outdoor exploration and watersports you desire. With tubing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming, boating, and fishing available within feet of the campsite, you can stay nearby or venture out to some of the best springs in the world. Boaters – Private boat ramp is 200 yards up the road on the Santa Fe, public boat ramps within 10 miles on the Santa Fe and Suwannee rivers. Tubers – Tube the private section of the crystal-clear Ichetucknee river accessible only by the homeowners via our 3 waterfront parks. Both get-out parks are within walking distance to the campsite for your convenience. Paddlers – Paddle the Santa Fe or Ichetucknee rivers from within the neighborhood, or if the time of year is right, venture up to the Ichetucknee State Park to paddle the head waters and north entrance. This is limited in season and numbers to keep the impact on the river to a minimum. Swimmers – Swim the Santa Fe or Ichetucknee rivers from within the neighborhood via our 9 waterfront parks (6 Santa Fe, 3 Ichetucknee) or venture to either entrance of the Ichetucknee River State Park just a few miles away. Nature lovers – Explore the unspoiled conservation areas within the neighborhood that can be hiked and explored. Setup a hammock and sit by the river and watch all your worries wash away, you may get to see the occasional manatee. This is the beautiful wild coast of Florida's "Big Bend." Located halfway between Perry to the north and Steinhatchee to the south, Keaton Beach is an outpost town with a laidback, relaxing atmosphere. No motels, no fast food. The wild, natural public beach has a shaded picnic area, restrooms, a boat ramp and a 700-foot fishing pier. These are prime scalloping waters from mid to late summer, and the area is famous for year-round fishing. We recently bought this property with an old hunting cabin owned by a well known baseball coach. The cabin is currently transformed into a residence. We have 4 RV spots available in the front of the property.. Only an 8 minute drive to the sandy swimming beach of Keaton Beach (see pic above) or 20 min walking distance to Adams Sunset Beach. Stop by on your way to South Florida or up north. We do not have a maximum stay.. We have 50/30 and 15 amp sites available. 2 back it, 1 drive in, 1 pull through site. 2 sites are full hook up, 1 site 50 amp electric and water. 1 site 20 amp electric only. If you see "occupied" in the calendar we probably still have sites available. (we have a total of 4) Just contact us using a "free" day. What can you do in our area? We purchased our 3.39 acres ten years ago and all that was on it was a RV and lots of pine trees, palmettos, woods and a small pond in the front of the property. Over those the years we have turned it into our little piece of heaven. We've added two more RV hookups which our son parked his camper on one. We built a fully furnished cook shed and on the back side of it we have an enclosed fish cleaning area. The cook shed also has an enclosed eating area. In addition, we built a full size bath house / laundry room for the convenience of our campers. We cleared out the back of our property and had a large fish pond dug and it is actually spring fed. We have a dock that goes out to the pond which you can sit and read a book or catch a fish. Learn more about this land: Quiet 3.39 acres with a RV hookup, two ponds, a separate bathhouse/laundry room on the premises in addition to a cook shed with grills and cookers (propane included) along with fish cleaning station. We have a fire pit available to use (wood included). We're located approximately a mile from the boat ramp and Roy's restaurant where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Keaton Beach is just 17 miles from us which has a nice little beach and beautiful scenery.

There are two solar shower stalls with hot water powered by the sun. It is specifically built to overlook the main blueberry field and peach grove. Stunning views at sunset. An outhouse / composting toilet is currently under construction with the rain water collection system now complete. In the meantime a portable toilet is provided.  A potable water station is available and built from re-purposed materials and wood harvested locally. We are a working farm. We supply every Lucky's Market location with fresh turmeric and a host of stores with our blueberries. We also have an active u-pick program during the blueberry and peach harvests (late March to early June) that is available to Hip Campers. There are multiple springs within 30 miles in various directions - some of them of First Magnitude volume. Ichetucknee Springs offers excellent river rafting. Bike riding from the trail head at Keaton Beach boat ramp is a good way to get in some exercise and enjoy the natural Florida. Steinhatchee is 19 miles south of your location. Beach bums store is .5 miles from our site. Although hit by the hurricane last year, they are in the rebuild stage but still have all your essentials you may need, food truck, bait, fishing supplies, beer, ice, and many other essentials you may need to make your stay enjoyable. Learn more about this land: Pull up your RV, View stunning gulf sunsets, 1/2 mile to Keaton Beach boat ramp. General store 1/4 mile. 20 minutes to Steinhatchee. Keaton Beach pier is less than 1 mile. Golf cart friendly, great kayaking and paddling from your place and in the area. Scalloping is June through September. Airboat friendly. Visit the Steinhatchee Fiddler Crab Festival in February. Choice of 30 or 50 amp electric, sewage, and water. Out door shower, picnic table, 16' x 30' deck with railing, and 2 lights, to help with night time arrivals.

My father bought the property next door to the RV site over 30 yrs ago. After his passing, my husband and I acquired the property. We initially were going to be snowbirds and make this our winter vacation home. After much thought and many winters in PA, we decided to sell our home in PA and make the move south. It was a difficult decision to leave our family, friends and what was comfortable to us. About 3 years after our move, our neighbor asked if we were interested in his property. My husband Jeff and I discussed it and thought it would be a great idea to have a little more land. To make a long story short, that land somehow became Paradise Park River Retreat. My husband and I love this area and wanted to share it with other people who love being outdoors. We really enjoyed the stay. The location is very secluded and we saw few people. The deck was nice and relaxing with great views. There is a store at the end of the road with a food truck. Other than that, you will need to drive the 20 mins to Steinhatchee, so bring everything you need We went fishing in our kayaks but caught very little. It was high winds so that might have had an impact We would definitely stay again

Richard’s farm was beautiful and well kept. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Richard was a fantastic host. He invited me to join him and the volunteer Woofer’s for a bonfire. I had a brilliant evening full of laughter, sharing and hearing many incredible stories about Richard’s life. He’s a top bloke, and work’s incredibly hard to keep his farm running smoothly, hosting volunteers and looking after the happy campers! 10/10

The camper was so cute! Perfect for me :) it was chilly the night I stayed and I stayed nice and cozy all night. The trees on the property are amazing all in themselves! But the hosts are just as great… I noticed at night, when you walk out of the bathroom you can see the stars peeking through the trees and moss, so don’t forget to look up! The bathrooms and shower house were top notch. I would love to stay again if I am ever in the area.

2 nights at Suwannee River Rendezvous

Had a great family camping trip here. It was my son’s birthday and he wanted to tent camp directly on the Suwannee. Frank recommended site p20, which was a great choice. It was on the very end, nicely secluded but close enough to walk to bathrooms and bath houses. The river access was beautiful and we enjoyed fishing and hanging out by our fire. The site had a picnic table, fire ring, and a few wooden chairs which was nice. Plenty of room for multiple tents. The community had a nice pool for the kids also.

The Hatch Bend Hideaway offers only one full hook-up site.
The property owner, Capt. Cas, has a covered destination trailer permanently on property and does occupy during the evening.

I took a group of seven teenagers camping for spring break and we had the best time. Frank made sure our campsites were right next to each other and they ended up being the perfect sites. Not only were we right on the river, where the kids could fish and swim and paddle board, but we were relatively secluded from the rest of the camp so they had plenty of room to play volleyball and soccer and enjoy a bit of freedom. I managed to choose the coldest days in March to tent camp, but Michelle and Ralph were so kind to make sure we were set up ok and let us know the moment the burn ban was lifted so we could have a campfire. The kids had a blast and I felt so safe camping alone with my son and his friends. Everything was well-maintained and clean and everyone was helpful and friendly. Five stars!

2 nights at Suwannee River Rendezvous

I took a group of seven teenagers camping at the Suwannee River Rendezvous for my son’s spring break and we had so much fun. We were tucked away in a back corner right on the river, which not only gave the kids some freedom but also gave them space to play soccer and volleyball as well as fish and swim. We did unintentionally pick the two coldest nights in March to tent camp, but they enjoyed swimming in the heated pool and Ralph and Michelle were so good to check on us and made sure we knew the moment the burn ban was lifted. The bathrooms and showers were a short walk away, kept clean and well stocked. I felt completely safe camping alone with the kids and I hope we get the opportunity to return when it’s a little warmer. Five stars!
