I cannot tell you how perfect this spot is! We loved the kayaks and the deck! We were not able to hook up to the sewer, but it was all our fault because we read the reviews and then just forgot to get the extended hose!! We did have an extended hose for water though.. Definitely get the extended hose if you want to hook up the sewer!! if you love a quiet, beautiful place— this is the spot for you!! Our dog loved it as well 💕♥️ thank y’all so much!!!!

It was an amazing place to camp. We would sit and watch the low and high tides, the sunsets were the most beautiful we have seen. It was quiet and peaceful. We will be back!

We really enjoyed spending the week here. The deck over the water was really enjoyable and having access to the kayaks was helpful. We biked to Keaton Beach (its only about 1.5 miles) a couple days too. Overall, its just a quiet, scenic location and we would love to stay here again.
A couple notes... The septic hook up is in an awkward spot so you'll either have to position your camper/RV close or make sure you have plenty of hose. There is also a firepit in the corner by the gravel. Its not the best location, but a charcoal grill is also provided.
The Keaton Beach area has very little available so make sure to pick up your supplies in Perry (its part of the appeal for us). Keaton Beach Bums is a convenience store/gas station down the road with limited selection.

We really enjoyed the stay. The location is very secluded and we saw few people. The deck was nice and relaxing with great views.
There is a store at the end of the road with a food truck. Other than that, you will need to drive the 20 mins to Steinhatchee, so bring everything you need
We went fishing in our kayaks but caught very little. It was high winds so that might have had an impact

This is our third time coming to this site
since they had to rebuilt from the hurricane. You can't beat the location and the view. The hosts are very kind and the people that live in Perry. You will always get a wave and smile. Suggestions :
Lot would be more user friendly for bigger units if septic and water hookups were closer to where kayaks are located. Need extra long hookups where they are located which fortunately we did have.
Also a portable fire pit would make more sense than where located.
Again great spot thanks for hosting us!

We loved our camping experience! It was quiet, peaceful, and the view was spectacular. Having the use of Kayak’s was an added bonus. Our Mikcy (dog) loved hanging out in the deck with us. just a couple I'd things Id like to point out. Bring food and beverage. Restaurants and groceries are limited and about a half hour away. As others also mentioned an extended sewer hose would come in handy based upon the hookup location. But overall, we really enjoyed and plan to return!

Beautiful spot on Gulf of America!
Awesome sunsets and huge deck to enjoy them from! Secluded area with several other private lots on same street. Nearly 360° waterview, tons of birds, white pelicans(winter visitors), egrets, herons, ospreys and even a bald eagle!

This is an incredible waterfront lot with a million dollar view. Sunsets were phenomenal! Owners ensure guests are comfortable and were very attentive. Fishing was nothing short of spectacular for Redfish and Sea Trout.

Campsite was great. Beautiful view and nice deck and nice level site with gravel power and water were great! Only downfall was if you parked with your rv facing the water the sewer hook up was in the front of camper but if you had a long enough hose it was fine just not ideal I'd give it a 9 out of ten and would return

First time back since hurricane Helene completely leveled this Hipcamp and the entire town of Keaton Beach. The owners have worked very hard to make this a nice place again. They’ve filled in a nice level area with rock for parking, added a brand new large deck out over the water, added trees, a new kayak rack and picnic table. They provide full RV hookups.
The owners are very accommodating and prompt to respond to any questions.
We had an excellent time again here. It was August and hot. Storms brought welcoming clouds and gulf breezes. Couldn’t find any scallops at Hagens cove but the fishing more than made up for it with several reds caught using the kayaks just out from camp and a 23” caught from the deck. Would definitely recommend and we’ll be back. Jim and Jeri-Sue

This is a nice spacious site right on the water with a beautiful view of the Gulf of MEXICO. The original infrastructure of the site was destroyed during Helene. They have done a great job getting it back up to speed with level gravel surface, all the necessary hookups, a picnic table, a shower, and kayaks. I biked down to Keaton Beach and there is a bike trail at the boat launch area that goes out to Ceder (?) Island. Also spend some time in the local bar (Bird Rack) talking to some of the locals and enjoying a cold brew. If you want to be away from the crowds, this is a great spot.

Very peaceful, beautiful spot! Loved having the screened room to escape the rain but still be able to see the water and loved being able to fish. Would highly recommend and definitely plan on staying again in the future.

Our second time staying here. We absolutely love this site. The open deck is wonderful. My grandson loves the fishing dock. We caught fish and crabs and watched all the wildlife. The outside shower was great to rinse and cool off.

We loved our stay and will be back! Super place, with an awesome layout. Clean, well maintained, clear instructions, and easy setup for our 24' class C. The salt water creek was perfect for kayaks and paddle boards but a boat would have been grounded at low tide. Awesome place!

Great spot, enjoyed the open deck and dock. Grandson had a great time running around and playing on the deck, he loved catching crabs . We took the kayaks out and did some fishing. We also brought our golf cart, we rode it to the beach, store and everywhere.

The accommodations as an “RV Site” exceeded expectations. This was our first Hipcamp and we are used to having electric hook up and water and that’s it. Super nice to have the deck and dock and I am not sure the other reviews mention that upstairs enclosed deck has a kitchenette and electricity. Thanks a lot!
