Quiet, private spot to relax.

If you're looking for a private, out of the way place to camp that's still a reasonable drive from both Tallahassee (1hr-ish) and Orlando (3hrs-ish), we definitely recommend this spot. We were just passing through on our way to Universal, and after days and days of rain, we were grateful to have the privacy to decompress a bit. Definitely keeping this spot on the list for future FL trips!

Great setup! Deb answered my questions before I booked. I was on my motorcycle and the place was easy to find and I parked next to the tent site. Clean space. Very quiet and safe.

The night before we stayed at Seagrass hideaway was a nightmare. We were wild camping in Osceola National Forest when someone decided to go mudding in very loud vehicles next to us at 11pm at night. Luckily I had booked with Deb for the next night. The location was secure, private and felt safe which was just what we needed after the previous night. Property has a locked gate and felt very spacious. Will definitely be back if I’m ever doing the Florida adventure trail.

Really liked staying here! Not only was the host “Deb” very attentive and responsive to my messages but arrival instructions and process couldn’t have been made easier honestly. The area is in a neighborhood so it feels very safe but at the same time you feel completely secluded and private once you’re in there. I absolutely no complaints about this stay at all! If I’m ever needing a spot to park my rv in this area in the future, this will absolutely be my go to! Thanks again for the hospitality!

This is a wonderful location. The host is very good at quickly communicating when you have a question and even though the site is next to a couple houses it doesn't feel like it at all because of the trees. (Close is a very broad term here) It's great for anyone with dogs, but beware of the sandburs all over if you let them free roam. Utilities are wonderful, very strong water pressure, clean water, clean power and properly working sewer connection as well as a nice quiet area. I extended my trip and may have extended longer if it wasn't already booked and I needed to move on anyway. Thanks again Deb!

It has a secluded feeling about it and it’s surrounded by woods. However, it has houses around it but they are not visible from site.
The gulf is a short drive away. We will be renting this site again. Our dogs loved it and so did we. It’s a great hideaway

I stayed the night in my rooftop tent while traveling the Florida Adventure Trail. This spot is minutes from the trail. It’s very clean, quiet and you have the whole place to yourself. Host was very helpful and made sure everything was as it should be. I’d stay here again without hesitation

The site was absolutely beautiful spot, lots of room to spread out, very private place ( we like being the only camper there and being able to lock the gate also ). We book this site because it has full hookups, everything worked as it should. We'd book again. Communication with Deb was great also.

Overall, the site was comfortable and quiet. The only grassy area was where the fire pit is. There were a lot of sand spurs so it was difficult for the dogs. I would not recommend off leash unless your dog has excellent recall as the site is not fully fenced. Entry and exit were simple. I would go again but not with my dogs. Thank you Deb and John.

This is our second visit. Deb is responsive and directions are clear. There is 1 spot light on the property, please keep this in mind if you have pups who need too do their business or patrol in the middle of the night. We brought along 3 strings of xmas lights. Otherwise we felt safe in the back corner of a cul-de-sac. Beautiful stars at night while sitting around the camp fite, there was a family of dear one night. The hummingbirds came out to play. If you visit, kindly fill the bird bath. Full hookup easy easy. I hope you all enjoy this little slice of paradise as much as we do!!!

Enjoyed a great weekend! Campsite was spacious and private. Doggies enjoyed being able to run around off leash. We were able to get in and out with ease even in the rain. Definitely will come back again.

First and foremost, Deb made our very first Hipcamp experience absolutely perfect. She was extremely responsive and helpful to my questions and also provided us things to do locally. If you were looking for a site that is completely private, this is it. We have two dogs and we were specifically looking for a site that we would be alone. This is surrounded by lots of woods and it’s really pretty. Her process of checking in is extremely simple and the full hook ups was an absolute bonus. We had a wonderful time. Thank you Deb for allowing us to have such a wonderful weekend. May God bless you.

This is a beautiful rustic spot with full hookup. I grew up going to the river for outings so the pines & palmettos felt like home. Plenty of room for the kids to bike & play and our lab loved it as well. We didn’t see any real wildlife but we did hear turkey one afternoon. So quiet at night so it’s easy to sleep. It’s convenient to the beach & to Perry, FL for shopping or restaurants. Definitely a site to visit again.

Deb helped me out w/ her “instant book” feature b/c another HipCamp booking was declined due to too many people (guests) at that site. I was in a bind and Seagrass was a great solution.
It is very private - only one site. Surrounded by trees, it is on the edge of a developing neighborhood so it felt remote but wasn’t. The best part about this location for me was the easy access to Keaton Beach and Adams Beach. They are two prime examples of “old Florida.” Keaton is a lovely little town with no commercial development other than rental homes. The small but charming beach- pictured in the Seagrass listing is great w/ limited but free parking for both the beach and the long pier.
Deb & her husband were very responsive, even calling me when I had trouble getting the power on.
The property has a locked gate so it felt quite safe even for an older woman traveling solo.

Thank you Deb and John for sharing this lil piece of oasis. If quiet country camping is what you are looking for, you found the right spot. Gated driveway makes you feel at ease, fenced on one side, such a beautiful place too relax and let the rest of the world float by. Looking forward too our next visit!

Private and quiet campsite. Power and hookups were topnotch. Areas were a little overgrown but we were one of first to use it since scallop season began and weather has been poor. It turned into a great weekend for scalloping and we easily got our redugced limit both days. A storm knocked out power to the neighborhood and owners were responsive and helpful.
