The farm you’re camping on is one of the last family farms remaining in Columbia County and is named Glenn Farm after DV Glenn who married Hettie Lou Niblack in the 1930’s. Over the last 150 years it has been farmed by some of the county’s oldest families such as the Niblack and Ellis families. When DV Glenn came to Florida from his farm in Cairo, GA he took over the portion of the Niblack farm that was inherited by his wife Hettie Lou. At that time he was running native Florida cattle on over 6000 acres. Unfortunately, In 1951 he was killed in a hunting accident leaving his wife with the farm and 4 children (ages 4-11). In order to survive, Hettie Lou Niblack Glenn was forced to sell 5000 acres at $25 an acre. Holding a bachelors degree from Florida State College for Women, she was able to secure a job at the University of Florida as a secretary and with the money from the land sale she was able to raise her four children. Of the original farm, 600 acres remain intact and the Glenn family is trying to keep the farm as an agricultural operation. Your campsite is 1 of 4 spots (Arrowhead Sink, Dunagan’s Meadow, North Hall Pasture or Magnolia Sink). We also have a 1 bedroom Tiny home that used to be the farm office. Dunagan’s meadow is a pasture behind the old farmhouse (built in 1824), Magnolia sink and The North Hall Pasture are also on the main farm while Arrowhead Sink is on the edge of a hayfield about a mile down a dirt road. Glenn Farm is a place to come relax and experience a world that is rapidly disappearing. It is not a commercial campground.

Frank Page purchased the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground in 2008 which included the original seven acres of the lower portion of the Rendezvous. At that time there were only a few buildings and the primitive campground area. Frank started cleaning the area and stabilizing all the buildings. In 2009 another 20 acres was purchased, which is now considered the upper area of the Rendezvous. In 2010, another seven acres were added to the property. Frank planned and constructed the Upper Rendezvous area which was completed in 2012 and added 136 RV sites as well as the dog park, barn and pigeon coop. The dog park has five sections, for both small and large dogs, with ample room to run.
Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground Pool
Frank began raising pigeons in 2012. The first pigeons purchased were homing pigeons, which started the Pigeon Races that are still a fun, family favorite event on Saturday afternoons. Frank also bought and started raising other pigeons, the Birmingham Roller. Birmingham Rollers are a very popular breed of domesticated pigeons that originated in Birmingham, England, where they were developed via selective breeding for their ability to do rapid backward somersaults while flying. You can often see them flying around the Upper Rendezvous in the mornings and afternoons. These pigeons are used for our weekly Pigeon Races.

The five tent sites are within the campground circle where no cars are allowed for camper safety. The parking area is within 150 feet (45 meters) of the various sites, and a cart is available to move your gear. Sites are 25–50 feet (8–15 meters) apart.
Dogs are not allowed for the safety and comfort of other campers. If your private group is renting the whole campground, you may bring a leashed pet when it is not in your tent or van.
If you are looking for a single private campsite far from town, this is not for you. However, if you would like to experience a campground on a working homestead and learning center, with the ability to interact with other guests if you wish, while still being conveniently close to downtown and trail systems, this is a great fit.
This wooded 5-acre property is very close to thousands of acres of state park land and also adjacent to a rural/suburban neighborhood. Therefore, you can expect to hear both typical neighborhood sounds (cars, children) as well as wildlife such as Barred Owls, Sandhill Cranes, and occasional deer visits.

Weekend Trip to Bowman's Landing
Normally a primitive camper here, first time trying the cabins. Had a fantastic time, great place to beat the heat and relax for the long weekend. Hosts are some of the nicest folks you'll meet!

Really magical land. From the moment I arrived it just felt *good* to be there. Everyone I encountered was warm, friendly, and helpful. It was a very peaceful sleep beside the gentle river under the stars, lulled by the water and the whippoorwill. I hope to return when I have more time to explore and enjoy and am not simply passing through. Very good place

2 nights at Kokomo Farms
Our stay at Kokomo Farms was wonderful. The farm was lovely, the hosts were hospitable and friendly, and the animals we interacted with were great as well. If I'm in the area I will stay here again and highly recommend you do if you're in the area as well.

Everything was well organized and ready for us when we arrived. The environment is beautiful. The trampoline kids cars and the river sand kept the kids busy. The bathroom had tissue paper and soap. We had a great time camping. Will comeback.

I liked the location because it was within easy driving distance of Crystal River and Rainbow Springs where I had activities planned. No one was camping near me, so it was private and quiet. The bathroom and showers were clean. The waterfall was not on at this time (drought in the area). A friendly cat kept me company.

Great slice of paradise, climb in isn't for anyone with mobility issues, but able-bodied folks no problem but bring a tent if your staying the night, insects are big it's nature.. ants are unreal above the sink, not any within thankfully
Clean with a single exception(sm PC overlooked debris), nicer than expected.. overall worth the novelty, notably cooler in sink, visited in the morning by turkeys, road noise is unnoticeable during the day, enough at night to want earplugs/ some other means of coping

Lynn was a gracious host. I arrived late at night, and she and her husband made sure I could easily find the property, helped me choose the best spot for my camper, and showed me around.
The campsites are tucked into a lovely wooded area near their home, several miles down a quiet dirt road, so all you hear are the sounds of nature. There’s an outdoor shower and a bathroom inside the barn, which was very convenient.
As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and comfortable on their property and would gladly stay again. It was also only about a 30-minute drive to downtown Gainesville.

Primitive Campsite one was perfect, I love the open grounds and access to the water. Access to the Springs from the water, nights were still nice and cool. Make sure to keep an eye on fire bans in the area. Will be back!!

Just as advertised. I had the place to myself - probably because it's the end of the camping season here in Florida. Had a little trouble getting in because the gate was locked but fortunately the host was there when I climbed over and went looking for her.
The shower was hot and the composting toilet neat and clean.

April greeted us shortly after we set up and sent us water sports options and directions to the best of the springs! It was a nice secluded spot. My husband saw deer in the morning and April's chicken greeted us, too! Port-a-pottie was clean, well kept and no smell! Everything you would need was there.

This site was great. My parents and I came here to kayak the Ichetucknee and Santa Fe River. I didn't get to meet William but his response time was super quick when I had questions. The site was as advertised. Everything was nice and clean. I would recommend bringing tick spray, especially in the spring but Florida does Florida things! You have to expect insects when camping. I will definitely book this site again! We had a great time making memories together!

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is well kept and feels secluded but you’re less than 5 min from a few stores and restaurants. There’s no visual barrier between the one neighbor but they were polite and not intrusive at all. It’s a very quiet area and it was great to kick back and relax. We loved hanging out by the river and our dogs were in heaven.
