Tall pine neighbor
Spaciousand accommodating! We access to bathrooms, water, and power. They even brought over a fire pit so we could have a campfire.

Flintstone Picnic Campground
Very tranquil campsite. Out in the country in a wooded setting. Great place to relax, we enjoyed being there as did our 2 little dogs. Lynn and David are very nice hosts. It is about 20 minutes from gainesville. If you are booking though do not follow GPS directions as it is an awful drive. Instead take Archer Rd west from I75 turn right on 138th street to right on 83rd lane (this is at end of black horse fence) to address on right.

Great place
Lynn is a Super friendly host and Nice facilities. I liked being away from the city and enjoyed the peacefulness of the property. Yet it was a quick drive to UF. The best of both worlds!

Flintstone Picnic Campground
A wonderful experience! We used this as a home base for exploring the area. Lynn and David were lovely and accommodating hosts. The property was shaded, peaceful, and not terribly far from town. The bathroom and outdoor shower were clean. We were camped in a truck shell camper with a canopy. They had power and water available. We did not have a fire, although they offered a small portable fire pit with screen cover had we wanted to. I enjoyed the sounds of various birds ( wild, and pets of the neighbors I believe) and getting to see some of Lynn and David's circus stuff, creative projects, and garden. There was a little walking path around the property. We visited lubee bat conservancy, Heartwood soundstage, and Kanapaha botanical gardens while in town.
