Located on 5 acres in the Ocala National Forest, Hookie's Hideaway is the perfect place to stay for easy access to all of nature's bounty and activities. This property is easily accessible, serene and peaceful. Campsites are in a beautiful grove of pine and sycamore trees. We are surrounded by forested camping areas and close enough to drive into town to pick up groceries or get a meal. We have a "you pick them" blueberry farm when in season. We are pet friendly! If you have a pet please add the pet Extra at checkout so you will be charged a $20 pet fee ($10 for the trailers). We are close to hiking, horse trails, lakes and springs. Bocce Ball and Croquet is available to play here anytime! We are only a short distance away from amazing horse riding trails and Florida's most popular natural springs. We live on the property and are available during normal business hours. We are free to ask questions and give suggestions for surrounding activities and dining options. We will interact as little or as much as you need. Birds singing in the morning and crickets at night ensure a restful getaway here. Our property is the perfect place to escape the noise and high paced city life.

Blueberry Farm Rustic Abode
Great place to stay in the Forest
Great experience. Definitely would stay again. I was skeptical of the outdoor shower, but after using the outdoor shower here, now I want one at my own home! Nothing quite like taking your evening shower under the stars.

Little Lulu
Little lulu was quite nice to stay in for the weekend. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay close to the forest.

The Beehive
Wonderful impromptu visit
We loved our stay at the Blueberry Farm. Be warned there are quite a bit of mosquitoes but they provide bug spray definitely use it! We had booked one of the vintage trailers but due to an issue we got to stay at a different site on the property. We stayed for a couple days and the springs were amazing we visited Silver Springs and Juniper Springs. Highly recommend visiting the springs and bring swimming supplies!

Little Lulu
Amazing little getaway!
This was the absolute best little getaway. It met all of my expectations and gave me time away to heal in solace. The hosts gave me privacy and were gracious in allowing me to enjoy their property. I will be back. I saw some comments that irked me about the state of the camper, but it’s in beautiful shape for the age. It has a very peaceful homey feel and there is AC. The hosts even made it smell like essential oils. I felt so safe and welcomed.

Hookie's Hideaway Forest Camp
I loved camping at Hookie’s Hideaway. Great location to several springs. The outside shower was a delight and the chickens were adorable, Cassandra was communicative and very Accommodating. One thing I’d suggest is to bring lots of Citronella, candles, bug spray, and citronella incense. Oh, and my puppy Miles loved running around the beautiful property. See you guys in November! Hopefully not so buggy😝

The Gunnisack
Cute little RV (Little lulu). Perfect little area for little ones too to play and wander around. Mosquitoes were rough (of course - it is florida!) but nothing a little campfire smoke and spray wont fix.
