We have it all here at Seminole Springs. We are open for tent camping.First come, First serve.
We also have 3 units inside the lodge for the people who need just a step up from glamping, but not quite the whole hotel experience. These are beautiful comfortable rooms with half baths in the rooms. The showers are located in the lodge bathhouse. WE have the Jungle themed room, the Equestrian themed room and the Honeymoon Suite. Each unit comes equipped with its own hot tub. (To book any of these units, just send us a message and we will reserve it for you. The prices for these units are different than that campsite and glamping site prices.)
The Grist Mill is also available for rent too! This is a very romantic, yet rustic getaway equipped with a half bath as well. Very secluded and private overlooking the spring on one side and the water fall on the other. Sit outside on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature and at night the sound of the waterfall will lull you to sleep. The shower is located in the Lodge bathhouse. (To book this unit you must send a message to us and we will reserve it for you. The price is different than the campsites but we will go over that with you)

Just go a little bit further until you see the sign for Camp Seminole Spring.
Bring bug spray and sun screen. If you need something, don't worry! There is a Dollar General, a gas station and a small cafe within walking distance.
We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking.
Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path.
This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge
hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you.
We allow campfires.
The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit.
We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish.
Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature.
Camp Seminole Spring is mid-way (approx.. 22 miles) between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, which are two thriving cities in this area of Florida. Ocala, the ‘horse capital of the world’ showcases a brand new multi-billion-dollar equestrian center which draws people from all over the world.
This scenic property has an artesian spring which pushes out 1.6 million gallons of water per day rated among the top three percent of water in the world with an 8.4 natural pH. This water fills the pond and then continues on to flow into Orange Creek.
Camp Seminole Springs was established in the 1940’s as a honeymoon resort and campground. The founders built a heart-shaped ‘pond-spring’ which is filled with the crystal-clear water pushed out from the spring where guests can lounge by the beach or gaze down into the bottom through the glass-like water or take a refreshing swim.
At the top of the hill overlooking the heart-shaped spring, one will find the rustic Great Lodge where guests can come and mingle with each other, enjoy a relaxing conversation and a drink on the veranda or just sit and watch the activity in and around the spring.

The farm you’re camping on is one of the last family farms remaining in Columbia County and is named Glenn Farm after DV Glenn who married Hettie Lou Niblack in the 1930’s. Over the last 150 years it has been farmed by some of the county’s oldest families such as the Niblack and Ellis families. When DV Glenn came to Florida from his farm in Cairo, GA he took over the portion of the Niblack farm that was inherited by his wife Hettie Lou. At that time he was running native Florida cattle on over 6000 acres. Unfortunately, In 1951 he was killed in a hunting accident leaving his wife with the farm and 4 children (ages 4-11). In order to survive, Hettie Lou Niblack Glenn was forced to sell 5000 acres at $25 an acre. Holding a bachelors degree from Florida State College for Women, she was able to secure a job at the University of Florida as a secretary and with the money from the land sale she was able to raise her four children. Of the original farm, 600 acres remain intact and the Glenn family is trying to keep the farm as an agricultural operation. Your campsite is 1 of 4 spots (Arrowhead Sink, Dunagan’s Meadow, North Hall Pasture or Magnolia Sink). We also have a 1 bedroom Tiny home that used to be the farm office. Dunagan’s meadow is a pasture behind the old farmhouse (built in 1824), Magnolia sink and The North Hall Pasture are also on the main farm while Arrowhead Sink is on the edge of a hayfield about a mile down a dirt road. Glenn Farm is a place to come relax and experience a world that is rapidly disappearing. It is not a commercial campground.

A small but unique piece of land that was given to a family in the 1920s by the Florida Railroad Company. It stayed in the family until we purchased it. It is unique because the surrounding area does not have much tree coverage. This is
due to the ground underneath, which is a vein of grey marl. This is why the area is called the Allapattah (an Indian word for Alligator) Flats.
We are hoping that our county stays the way it is so people will know what Old Florida really looks like.
Minutes from I-95, but surrounded by the Allapattah Flats Wildlife Management Preserve. Located on Martin Hwy, which was recently designated as a Florida Scenic Hwy. Fifteen minutes to Stuart and thirty minutes to West Palm Beach, a world away from the hustle and bustle.
We realize that people also love Florida for Disney and tropical paradises but if that is what you want then this may not be your kind of place.

the campground is under an ancient canopy of oaks. so youll always have shade. the center of the property is unique to say the least but the campground is nature at its finest.

Our antique town is an amazing experience to explore with lots of history and complete with quaint shops and restaurants, boating and lots of things to do. Rennigers Antique Center is located right up the street (less than 5 minutes away) for some great picking. We are conveniently close to the Central Florida Attractions and the beach on both east and west coasts within an hour drivep. A few Campers favorite places to visit are Mount Dora Bike Trail - 2.6 miles, Kelly Park - 11 miles and Kings Landing 12 miles from farm.
We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee.
Reservations required in advance due to the other activities we have going on.
In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us.
Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property.
Little by little we have evolved into more of a need to share with the community and help others with the relaxing qualities our farm and animals have to offer, we want to be able to share and better educate with hands on experiences, teach kindness, patience, confidence and help others to be the best they can be.

Tres Lagos Camping is part of the Florida agritourism initiative. Where travelers from all over the world come to experience and enjoy a different kind of florida. We’re a small 5 acre family farm involved in the cultivation and preservation of rare and endangered palms with many other edible tropical plants for our visitors to enjoy. You can view our palms at all stages of growth from seed to maturity. Enjoy our U-pick varieties of mangos, Caribbean cherries, sugar cane, bananas, coconuts and we’re adding more all the time. There is even a sugarcane maze and bamboo gardens in progress for the kids and adults to enjoy. But don’t forget your veggies! Get up close and personal with where some of your medicines and vegetables come from. We have some small areas for education about different medicinal plants like Turmeric, ginger, saw palmetto and a few others. Take the tours or classes or just sit back and enjoy the view! Welcome to a sweet and soulful little piece of the woodlands.
Tucked in on 4.5 acres, this spot is a secluded, enchanting piece of old Florida. Stay in one of our three designated camping sites, tie up a hammock, gaze at the pond inhabitants****, and check out what's growing in the seasonal garden. Also enjoy the many flowering plants and other special trees.
Florida's gem-colored, healing spring waters are just a 20 minutes up the way and local retreat centers and yoga studios dot the area. Gator fans? Head into Gainesville for a game and to visit the University of Florida.
Mostly, enjoy. We look forward to hosting you!
To note for all guests: We suggest arriving before dark so as to make set up easy and comfortable. We do not require a formal check-in and encourage being self-reliable in set up of primitive campsites. (For something with more structure and a space already set up, check out our Aframe cabin.) We do have water, a composting toilet, sink, and groundtemp shower for your use.
*****Due to severe drought this year, we have lost the pond. We are still open for camping, but please note the pond is not as pictured. Thanks for your understanding during this tough time for our water table.******

Our stay was FANTASTIC. The staff was extremely hospitable and treated us like family members who they wanted to be as comfortable and have as much fun as possible. The grounds are cute and well kept. There is so much to do at the site and perfect for campers with kids. If you want even more adventure you need only drive 10 min to the nearby springs. Would highly recommend, especially if you love swimming. We definitely plan on staying again!

Weekend Trip to Bowman's Landing
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Bowmans. Even though it was a weekend, we felt it was very quiet and private. The cabin had everything we needed. Easy road access. The hose is super nice. Greeted us as soon as we arrived and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay.

Our stay was great! Better than imagined. The camp was peaceful and the animals were delightful. The donkeys were very gentle. Visiting with newly born goats was a treat. We appreciate Rob & Mike's extra attention to our needs/requests. The camping spot was perfect. We're looking at our calendar to plan our next visit.

We can't recommend staying at Lucky U Ranch enough! We booked their RV option for a group of 5 and had ample space. We happened to book at the same time as a very large group, so they were kind enough to move us to an area with a little more privacy. Any questions we had were promptly answered, with Mike and Rob going so far as offering driving to get additional items for us! We had an issue getting our oven to work, so they had a nearby staff member, Kim, come and help us. She was so kind and accommodating with us, a true rockstar. The animals and land are very obviously well cared for and loved, and we had an absolute blast doing the ranch tour. We also enjoyed exploring the 3 different trails they have :) The pavilion with showers, toilets, and an outdoor kitchen for the tent camping area was well maintained, and some of our group actually chose using those facilities over the one in the RV as it was so comparable. Our group had the same consensus leaving- we had the most amazing and relaxing trip ever, and it was all due to the great care the hosts put into the experience!

John and John Jr. were very helpful & kind🫡 walking trail’s The common area is setup clubhouse style, all natural nature, beautiful decor, all matching the natural aesthetics of the landscape. It also has a dock with a second level to jump off into the water of the river that they have flowing through the back side of property!
I don’t feel no description can describe how wonderfully magical this place is. It’s a must do must see!

We had a blast this past weekend staying at the Lucky U Ranch! Mike and Rob are absolutely incredible and amazing hosts. They have thought of everything possible for every camper’s needs in a campground~ attention and care is placed into every detail. We met all the farm animals and it truly was great bonding experience for our family. The RV accommodation we rented was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed. This wonderful place truly 100 % deserves to be in a top spot in Hipcamp’s Top Places to visit!

This place is amazing. I went for the first time camping alone with my daughter and our two dogs. Doing it all by myself was a huge undertaking, but I’m so proud I did it. The camp grounds are very well maintained, our spot was completely shared which I loved. Later in the evening temperatures cooled and we were able to have such a fun time. The host is very aware of what is needed and making sure everyone is having a good time. There’s running water bathrooms and showers and that’s just so nice especially during warm weather. The river is so close, the water is so refreshing! Just amazing! We loved it and would do again!

Had an awesome time the second time around! This is definitely a go-to spot for being on the River. Bring tick repellent - ticks are REAL bad in these woods! Grill grate over the fire pit makes for 5-star camping meals. The bathrooms and complimentary coffee station make Bowman’s feel like a slice of comfort during a rugged get-away. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

Communication was excellent. Directions were great. The site was fantastic!
The small outdoor bathroom is clean & modern. The shower has hot & cold water. They even provide soaps & hair products!
We met the owners, & they introduced us to the many goats, the resident pig, the two turkeys, & a bunch of roaming chickens.
We tent, & there was plenty if shaded space, an electrical outlet, and access to water.
The historic city of Deland is only a short distance away, with an outdoor market every Friday night. There are great places to eat, to get a drink, or to hear live music.
AND the goats are the best!

We absolutely loved our stay here. We got lucky enough that almost nobody was here so it was so quiet and private for us. Although if you came and it was busy, there would be little privacy unless you chose the boondocking spots (which are amazing but you have to have a car that can drive on the rugged roads- ours could not make it). The bathrooms were kept clean and smelled nice. We saw plenty of wildlife. The staff (Lorraine) was amazing, kind and super helpful. She even took us on a tour of the property which was so fun and informative. She checked on us several times even after the rain to make sure we were all good and had dry clothes and bed sheets. The animals were TO DIE FOR. they were all so friendly and cute. We will be back.
