Welcome to the "Wild and Scenic Myakka River"! Our 20 acre ranch has everything from Longhorn cattle, to a white sand beach. We like to say our sand is like Siesta Key, except it's...in a swamp. Our property is not too far upstream from the Myakka State park, and parking is never a problem. ;-) We have a beautiful homestead, and you have the choice of a furnished camper with water and power hookups in our pasture, or 2 primative tent or RV spots on the edge of a beautiful stand of Live Oak trees and Sabal palms along the river. We have a porta potty on site that is regularly maintained. Bring your family, bring your dog, bring your friends.....and don't forget to bring a fishing pole!

Sabal Palm Serenity

Gorgeous Riverside Site

My dog Magnolia and I had an incredible time on Rebecca's land! The spot was perfect; spacious, quiet and a short walk to an incredible Riverbend beach at the end of the property! Early morning kayak, walks up and down the river through the day, then stargazing at night. This place had everything, and on top of it all the hosts were very kind and giving. Highly recommend this spot, we will definitely be back!

Sabal Palm Serenity

Beautiful location. My daughter loved the tortoises and walking our dog along the river bank. We noticed other campers fishing and were happy with their catches. The port o potty on site was kept clean and stocked well. I will definitely be back.

The Back 40

Super cool and easy location, we had such a fun time from walking up stream casting for the next fish or just staying put at one of the shallow beach areas. The weather was absolutely perfect! Will definitely be staying here again! Thanks Rebecca and Kary!

The Back 40

Beautiful canopy oak trees leading to the camping area each site exclusive and has access to the Manatee River. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

We loved Rebecca’s place . Unique , quiet, secluded and still close to the city . The property offers a beautiful landscape of Florida’s native flora . Lots of shade .and open spaces. We enjoyed spending time by the river bank. Excellent spot to sun bath , relax , fish , etc. Rebecca was very friendly and attentive. Excellent host . We definitely recommend this place .
