Camp Champ is a family friendly adventure. Sits on 10 acres of land. On Charlie Creek we have a dock for easy access where you can fish, fossil hunt, kayak, canoe and trails to ride. Sit back and enjoy the campfire. Tons of nature and wildlife. You can tent camp, or bring your own RV. We have electric, water, bathroom and outdoor kitchen. Game room with ping pong, darts, wiffle ball, corn hole, playground and swings. Plenty of shaded areas. You will absolutely love this place.

Camp Champ Adventure
Nice but could be better
Overall very nice setting, even use of a flushable toilet. Only two campers on the location ourselves and one other. However, we travel with a small dog about 20 pounds and there are 4 dogs that apparently live there, also all small about 25 pounds or less, but they run as a pack and at one point they attacked our dog, all seemed very friendly at first and played nice together but it quickly got out of hand. I would be concerned about small children who might try to play with the dogs and something might happen. Although they have ATV rentals, not sure where you can go on the site but the other group seemed to have a great deal of fun riding. The Charlie creek seems a bit difficult to access since banks are quite steep in most places. Overall I would give it a good review, I think her name was April signed us in and was very nice and gave a good explanation of the site use. We were there two nights and seemed quite safe. However, site seemed to have been hard hit by hurricane Ian signs of a time of very high water.

Lots of Activities, Clean & Quiet
The camp was clean and has lots of activities and amenities. Although there were several other campers nearby it was quiet. Kendall and her husband Chris were very helpful. The bathrooms were clean. Lots of trails for ATVs.

Camping with the Kids.
Super cool place to camp out. Not a corporation camp site but a family owned and operated one. Situated right on the river, so many water activities to do. The whole atmosphere of the camp was relaxing and fun. My kids explored all of the trails and had a blast, we played a game of whiffle ball with the owners and their kids. There is an outdoor game room for everyone to enjoy, you can rent quads on site to explore as well. Great place to disconnect from our everyday lives and just unwind. We will definitely be back to Camp Champ!

Camp Champ RV
Beautiful property but…
The property the camp sits on is gorgeous. Definitely a nature-lovers dream. Unfortunately, turning off of the main road onto Broncho Drive gives the wrong impression immediately. We were met with trash strewn everywhere at the mailboxes. It remained that way our entire stay and only got worse as more trash was put out there. I can’t fault the owners of Camp Champ because there are several properties (most appear vacant) on the road leading up the property. Also Broncho Drive is a dirt road filled with pot holes so you have to take it slow, especially if pulling a camper. We rented their RV for four full days. The property really is beautiful, but the RV needs some help. It smelled like years of stale cigarette smoke. It was a little hard to take for the first two days despite our buying an air freshener and burning candles, and we are both former smokers. It reminds me of an old hunting or fishing camp - a bit worn and needs a good cleaning. Despite that, we made it work as our base camp for the Sebring 12 Hours. It was a pretty straight drive from Zolfo Springs. They have a couple of cabins and some camping spots that truly sit in the middle of paradise. You can rent ATVs and kayaks for spending time on the trails and a river on the property. Sadly, we didn’t have time to do either.

Camp Champ Adventure
What a great place!!
Everything about this property was inviting. I was privileged to have the whole property to myself so I spent some time wandering. Great dispersed/private camp spots for the tent camper like me and also great amenities. A hot shower and real toilet were a nice touch. I would have loved to have taken my family there!
