Beautiful piece of land.

We loved our stay at the Sunset View Camper at Blue Fox Ranch and are already looking forward to returning! Luiz was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The ranch is a beautiful property with animals including Bruno the dog, horses, bulls, chickens, and plenty of cows. We even spotted a “swamp puppy” and caught a fish during our stay. The camper was small but comfortable, with a queen bed, two bunk beds, a fold-out futon, a compact refrigerator, a three-burner stove, dishes, and other essentials. The bathroom was small but functional, and the hot shower was a welcome treat after a day outdoors. One of our favorite activities was taking the paddle boat out on the water. We spent about an hour exploring, got several bites, and caught a nice small bass. The location is also convenient, with Brighton Bay Casino nearby and plenty of fishing opportunities in the area. Be sure to bring firewood and supplies for s’mores. The night sky was breathtaking, with countless stars visible in the clear, dark skies. Although there were other campers and tent sites on the property, the ranch still felt peaceful and spacious. We also recommend bringing apples and carrots for the horses and stopping for supplies before arriving. The nearest Walmart is in Clewiston, about 28 minutes away, though there is a Dollar General just a few minutes down the road. If you’re looking for glamping, this isn’t it. But if you want a true camping experience surrounded by nature, Blue Fox Ranch

Camping with beautiful horses!

Site 2: Tiny RV, AC, HEAT, BATH.

We went tent camping and it was absolutely beautiful! The land is so pretty with a lake full of water lilies and so clean. He also has the most cute horses, marshmallow, calipso, Billy Jean! The second day we where day the horses would come up to us for some nose scratches! Amazing! At night is so peaceful, quite and magical, horses are always free so you might hear them around your tent at night which is soo majestic! Totally recommend it! Please make sure to also visit the trails that are less than 10 minutes away, there is so much wildlife and beautiful landscapes!

The host is kind and does whatever he can to meet your needs with a smile on his face. The grounds are beautiful and each lot is spacious! State parks put one RV on top of the other! Here, you feel alone! The free roaming horses and bulls love to visit and are fun to have around. My dogs have so much space to run on or off leash! This is my favorite place to date! We have become regulars there! Peaceful place.

Oh my goodness, me and my family had a phenominal time! We got to pet the horses(super friendly) and feed them! 100% recommend, Luis was great!

Hog Hunting & a Great Stay!

Luiz was an excellent host! We stayed at Site 2 with full RV hookups and had a fantastic experience. The property is beautiful, and the animals around the ranch make it a peaceful and unique getaway. Luiz was very welcoming and great to talk with whenever we saw him around the property. He even took the time to show us different parts of the ranch and other camping spots. Our group was also hog hunting at Chappy’s Outfitters, only about 3 miles away, which made the location perfect for going back and forth. Both experiences were great. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

Loved seeing all the animals out and about. When you’re sleeping you can hear them right outside your tent. Bathroom is nice. Lots of area to walk around and great trails nearby.

A bit tricky to navigate

Directions once arriving and going through double gates make no sense for getting to campsite #6. We certainly enjoyed the secluded location of site# 6 which offered great sunset views. We were a bit annoyed however with the constant barking of dogs. Also be prepared for the rooster crowing at night and early morning (way b4 dawn) hours. The owner did stop by to chat. I told him of the direction issues to which he's stated that he can't get HIPCAMP to correct as well as remove the alligator picture that someone posted. Hipcamp should do everything possible to straighten this out.

Dog friendly spot!

We were there for just one night, but we enjoyed the full hookup site (#1), and our dog had the time of her life hanging out with Luiz's sweet dog Bruno. Nice spot, by a pond, would definitely come back for a longer stay.

We ended up not staying at site #1, but rather around the lake, under the palms. It was so peaceful. The night sky was amazing. Our dogs ran around and we got to know Bruno the farm dog, as well as the horses who visited us (and enjoyed carrots). I would stay in the same site again.

We loved tent camping at Luiz’s property. It was peaceful and exactly as described. Luiz was very welcoming. The horses and cows roam the area which was nice to see. Our dogs enjoyed it. Property is dog friendly. Our dog was off leash and enjoyed running around as well as splashing in the water. We will definitely be back to visit.

We just spent an amazing weekend at Blue Fox Ranch Lake Farm with our kids .The farm is beautiful, peaceful, and feels truly family friendly. Luiz is a wonderful host and you can tell he puts a lot of love into this place. The kids had the time of their lives playing with the horses and other farm animals. Evenings by the campfire were a highlight for all of us and stargazing in the quiet country air. We also went fishing on the lake and actually caught a few fish, which was super exciting. On top of that, we bought fresh eggs from Luiz and they were absolutely delicious, such a treat compared to store bought. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway where your children can experience nature, animals, and real farm life, this is the perfect spot. We felt safe, welcomed, and completely recharged after our stay. Highly recommend visiting Luiz and spending a few nights at this special campsite.

Great peaceful stay & cute animals!

We had a great time! Hookups were just as expected, we had a nice flat spot on this lovely ranch. We were able to feed the horses apples and explore, the host’s dog was such a sweetheart as well. The host was very kind and helpful. It’s a beautiful peaceful place, we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area 💗

Tucked in a peaceful secluded site

Absolutely loved our spot surrounded by palm trees. We had a beautiful view of the water, birds and a few steers that came to say high. Slept with windows open to the sound of a breeze through the palms. Place was perfect!

I stayed at site #6, on of the dry camping areas and it was beautiful and private. Ended up staying an extra night Had a couple visits from the horse and sweet dog. Floated around on the pond in the canoe and that was lovely. Luiz was very kind and let me fill my water before I left.

Camping at Luiz's land was a fantastic experience. Luiz is friendly and generous, and conversing with him is like chatting with an old friend. Our dog and his dog Bruno had fun running around the ranch, playing and barking at the horses. My kids loved exploring the property and playing with the dogs, they spent most of their time outside playing and fishing. This is a great place for families; we were able to spend the day relaxing together and then enjoy a campfire at night.
