We have two primitive campsites These campsites are first come first serve, they are not assigned when booking. Our Glamper tent is a 10x12 canvas furnished full size bed with bedding, pillows and enough floor space for two sleeping bags. The tents are located off a short trial, but rugged 2-minute hike from the parking area. We provide the opportunity to go camping without having to pack the tent. Closed toed shoes are highly suggested as well as plenty of lighting with batteries or solar charging capability. This is a rugged, fun and serene camping experience. This property is home to a farm/nursery operation and has a large pond on the west side. The pond is Spring-fed at the headwaters of Marsh Branch Creek which begins at our property and flows West about five miles in to Tampa Bay. Approximately 33 private acres allows for plenty of space between our campsites. Property is home to a farm with hundreds of fruit trees- Lychee, Mango, Starfruit, Papaya, Guava). Red Mombin, and thousands of banana plants. Fishing can be great, wildlife and bird watching too. Fenced and gated for safety, this old historic nursery property has good vibes and plenty to offer. Until you see it - you really may not understand. Parts of property are wide open, other areas are rugged and difficult to walk through including some wetland areas. The nursery has plenty of trees, and some fields -the large pond is surrounded by cattails and marsh/wetlands and has fish (Bass, Tilapia, Sunfish, Catfish). Several species of wildlife have been seen on the property. We think the property is lovely, and definitely want you to enjoy your camping experience!

Weekend Trip to Blue Fox Ranch: Lake & Farm Camp

We loved our stay at the Sunset View Camper at Blue Fox Ranch and are already looking forward to returning! Luiz was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The ranch is a beautiful property with animals including Bruno the dog, horses, bulls, chickens, and plenty of cows. We even spotted a “swamp puppy” and caught a fish during our stay. The camper was small but comfortable, with a queen bed, two bunk beds, a fold-out futon, a compact refrigerator, a three-burner stove, dishes, and other essentials. The bathroom was small but functional, and the hot shower was a welcome treat after a day outdoors. One of our favorite activities was taking the paddle boat out on the water. We spent about an hour exploring, got several bites, and caught a nice small bass. The location is also convenient, with Brighton Bay Casino nearby and plenty of fishing opportunities in the area. Be sure to bring firewood and supplies for s’mores. The night sky was breathtaking, with countless stars visible in the clear, dark skies. Although there were other campers and tent sites on the property, the ranch still felt peaceful and spacious. We also recommend bringing apples and carrots for the horses and stopping for supplies before arriving. The nearest Walmart is in Clewiston, about 28 minutes away, though there is a Dollar General just a few minutes down the road. If you’re looking for glamping, this isn’t it. But if you want a true camping experience surrounded by nature, Blue Fox Ranch

We have stayed here many times and this was our third visit bring friends. So far everyone we have brought has loved it too! Air conditioned sleeping space and a safe place to have a fire that is more quiet than many state parks we have camped at. The goats are precious and very well taken care of. You can tell she loves them all. Highly recommend!

This is our favorite hip camp in Florida. We bring friends with us and put them up in the cottage because it is swanky rustic! Even our city friends from Atlanta loved it. The bed is super comfy, and it's always clean and welcoming. The farm is snuggled into the forest and you can feel it, it's wonderful. The goats are friendly and know they are loved and you can feel that too. We did learn something new this time: don't wear cut off shorts with strings hanging unless you want even more attention! We highly recommend!

My son and I had plenty to do. James dropped off plenty of firewood and checked to make sure things were going well. He told of different places to boat and kayak and tube close by. We enjoyed biking and looking at all the “relics”. Definitely a fun camp vibe and worth the money. We plan to be back.

1 night at By the Pond...

This was my second visit to Terrapy Farm and Mike is still such a wonderful host and the land was an absolute sanctuary: full of mango, lychee, and bananas. It felt like a tropical paradise. I used to live in St. Pete and love staying here when I come down to visit. Just 30-45 minutes away, it's an excellent basecamp for my adventures through Tampa and St. Pete.

Weekend Trip to Wilderness Shores Ranch Campground!

This place is the best kept secret. Don’t hesitate to make a reservation. The staff is super friendly and they go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed waking up in my off grid class B Camper surrounded by Longhorn cows. It was magical.

3 nights at Serene Forested Blueberry Farm

I had the most amazing glamping experience! It was the perfect peaceful getaway to slow down, unplug, and enjoy nature. My favorite evenings were spent sitting by the fire making s’mores and looking up at the incredible star-filled sky. I loved being able to pick fresh blueberries, gather eggs from the chickens, and harvest green beans, squash, and radishes straight from the garden. Cooking a meal with fresh ingredients from the property made the experience feel even more special and unique. The location was also great; there are beautiful springs just 20 minutes away, making it easy to spend part of the day exploring. One of the biggest highlights for me was being able to bring my dog along. We both had the best time enjoying the peaceful surroundings and open space. If you're looking for a relaxing nature escape with thoughtful touches, fresh farm experiences, and a chance to truly unwind, I highly recommend staying here. I left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to my next visit! 🌿✨🐕🔥🍓🌌

4 nights at Topsail Outfitters

We enjoyed our four nights at tent site T7. The tent is huge with plenty of room for your stuff The hanging lights are a nice touch. The bed is comfy and the AC and fan made it comfortable to sleep at night. During the day the AC couldn’t really keep up with the heat (end of May) but we didn’t spend much time in the tent in the day. It rained a lot two nights and there were no issues with leaks. We used the propane grill and it has some tongs and a spatula which were perfect for cooking. We hung up our hammock on the posts that were there too which was nice to watch the bunnies on the morning. Bathroom was clean and very close. Loved taking the bikes to the beach and on the paths, and then hiking some too. A Must do is the Morris Lake hiking trail if you can, as you get to hike through the dunes and it was so beautiful and we walked right out to the beach at one point. The beach is gorgeous and the backdrop of the dunes is perfect, instead of condos and beach house rentals compared to other beaches in the area. The park itself is well supplied with everything you might need, there is even a little coffee breakfast cafe that opens at 8 am. Bring bikes if you have them, or you can rent them there too. I did find out only after booking through Hipcamp that you can book direct with Topsail Hill Outfitters and they include two bike rentals with your stay, which would have been nice to have that perk.
