A camping weekend to remember
Nicholas’s property was beautiful. It was such a perfect way to spend the weekend. It was the first time my girlfriend and I went camping together, so there was a lot on the line. there were a lot of factors that could have worked against us as it was Memorial Day weekend, and there were thunderstorms.
The view was perfect, awesome setup with sink and bathrooms and showers. There was really nice tables, a swing chair, and a huge hammock that we could layout and look up at the stars.
When the rain came and the lightning struck, I was thinking to myself. I don’t know how we’re gonna make it in a tent.
Nicholas was such a gracious host. He nearly insisted that we stay in a really well outfitted yurt that was equipped with fans, lights, and a very comfortable inflatable mattress.
Nicholas was also kind enough to gift us some cucumbers and a gigantic zucchini that he had growing in his own backyard.
The property was family, friendly, pet friendly, and just an overall perfect way to camp. It was The perfect middle ground between primitive camping and all out glamping.
Also, the location was perfect that it was 15 minutes away for the spring and close enough to gas stations to get ice and supplies.
I give the property and the hospitality, a 10 out of 10.
