Welcome to our peaceful 2.5-acre retreat in Mount Dora, Florida — a scenic and relaxing getaway perfect for recharging. Our property features a beautiful round lake filled with lotus flowers and large lily pads, creating a truly serene setting. Camping areas are nestled beneath majestic live oak trees, offering plenty of shade and comfort — even during Florida’s warmer months. Guests often spot local wildlife, including sandhill cranes, alligators, turtles, ducks, armadillos, rabbits, and a wide variety of native birds. Despite the quiet, natural setting, we’re conveniently located just five minutes from historic downtown Mount Dora, known for its charming shops, restaurants, and frequent festivals and events. We’re also five minutes from Renninger’s, popular for antiques, flea market finds, and fresh fruits and vegetables. The property is centrally located near several natural springs, state parks, and other local attractions, with easy access to destinations like Disney World and the World Equestrian Center — making it a great base for both relaxation and exploration.

This 28ft 2023 Sunset Trail RV camper sleeps 2 with 1 slide out. There is a comfy memory foam mattress on the king sized bed and a dinette that converts into a bed . The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, a burner stove, a combination microwave/convection oven, and is equipped with everything. Theater seats in place of sofa. There is a smart TV and dual zoned stereo system listen to music indoors and/or outside. It has a full bathroom with plenty of space to move around with a shower and plenty of storage. Outside the RV you will be able to enjoy an electric awning to shade you from the sun, & attached outdoor gas grill. This RV is set up for dry camping with external generator for power

Wolf Pup Primitive Campsite
Beautiful property, we loved the views of the Lilly covered pond and the wild life. Felt larger than the stated 2 acres. Was a little unfortunate that it rained for 3 of our 4 night stay. The location is convenient to historic downtown Mt Dora. Lots of shopping and restaurants abound. Had a good time.

We loved our stay here ! We loved the fancy camp bathroom and the yurt was so cute and nice. We found everything very comfortable and the host was super welcoming and friendly. I would recommend it to anyone

Nick and his wife were incredible hosts and the site was beautiful. Every morning you step out to the sun rising over the lake view at the end of their property; stunning! We encountered cold weather and they gave us a space heater and extra blankets to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend this place; great site, great hosts.

Nice site. Mt. Dora has limited options available, so Wolf Branch Ranch was a great find. Really nice grassy area with pleasant views. Shower & facilities are separate from the home and available 24 hrs. Some road noise but not a real issue. Besides your minutes from Mt. Dora commerce. Nicolas is very accommodating and takes pride in his work to make this a pleasant place to spend some time.

I had a lovely stay here. The setting is peaceful and immersed in nature, yet still close enough to all the fun and activities I wanted—such a perfect balance. The amenities were comfortable, thoughtfully set up, and made my stay feel easy and relaxed. What really stood out was the host: incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making sure I had a great experience. I would absolutely return. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind without feeling remote.

What a beautiful spot! Nick has set up a slice of heaven. On a lake with the sounds of birds, provides privacy if you want it, or a community fire pit if you’re feeling social. The facilities (shower, toilet, wash area) are clean and have everything you may need. Little lights in the trees and around the facilities, and even a chandelier in the tree. Nick is available, making sure everyone is happy. Highly recommend!

Great place to get away for the weekend, listing was exactly as described. Gorgeous morning view off the water and comfy firepit for the evenings/nights. Host was very accommodating and on-site firewood is of great quality. Location to surrounding dog-friendly parks, grocery and food was very convenient. Will be returning in the future.

Great hosts! Very friendly. Awesome location, you can get to the local springs in 15-20 min. (Know before you go to the springs though, the parks all have their own idiosyncrasies) Otherwise, the yurt was comfy for two people. Had a comfy queen sized mattress. The fire out with the Adirondack chairs was awesome at night, great view of the stars. It was a little cool (lows in the 50’s at night) for me, but they provided power to plug into so I was super comfy!
