Absolutely loved camping at this spot! Directions to get there are spot on. My daughter and our older dog stayed here for the weekend. I needed to disconnect from the world and I am so glad I picked Suwannee Glades. From the owls, bald eagles, and turkeys, to the stars and moon lit up so bright you could lay back for hours and stare at the sky. The path to the water is a little steep but I went down to fish for a little bit and it was so peaceful and serene. I recommend staying at this property 100%. Only thing I will say is that these are dirt roads leading to the property, so the vehicle you drive can matter. I had no issue with my Kia Forte but my car is low so I will just take a higher vehicle next time or a truck. But please take the advise and book here now!

The campsite is easy to find. My gps took us right to it. The directions messaged to us helped us verify we were at the right place. The site itself is beautiful with space for multiple tents. Overlooking the river is a nice touch. We cant wait to camp here again

My son and I loved camping at Suwannee Glades. We recommend it without reservation as long as you enjoy primitive camping. We plan to camp there again soon. It was a delightful experience.

My family and I really enjoyed this campsite. It was a spacious spot with a beautiful view of the Suwannee river.
We we’re secluded and felt very safe.

Nice small camp site. The river was very low. The pathway down to it is fairly steep, somewhere between 45° and 35°. It would take two people to launch kayaks or canoes, though a paddle board would be managable for one person. Due to the steep bank, I would not recommend this campsite to paddle campers. Unloading and loading camping gear from canoes here would be a chore and a half when the river is low. If you plan on fishing, there is room for one maybe two people to cast off the bank. The campite gets full sun for most of the day. There is room for 2-3 two person tents and 2 hammocks. That would leave the campsite very very crowded. 1-2 tents and a hammock would be ideal. There is very little room to turn a vehicle around once you head down the drive way. I recommend you hop out at the gate and take the 2-3 min walk to the camp before you drive down. The dirt road leading to the property has some areas where the sugar sand is 2-3 inches deep. There was minimal noise from the neighbors during the day, and very quiet at night. There was some noise from the near by bridge during commuting hours, but thats to be expected. There is only one residence visible from camp, across the river. Minimal light pollution meant you could see the bands of the Milky Way at night. Over all, its a nice place to spend the night. The campsite was clean when we arrived. The host was very reaponsive when messaged through the HipCamp app.

Great, private spot right on the river! My husband really enjoyed fishing. I enjoyed relaxing by the fire. This should be called the Owl's Nest! I loved listening to the owls talk all night. Will definitely come again. The hostess is great!

If you love “in the woods” this place is for you. Our Granddaughters love camping on the Suwannee and this was perfect for them and our dogs. They loved exploring the woods- BE SMART - wear quality bug spray.

Suwannee Glades is a great site to camp. I spent my Thanksgiving here. Only yards from the water with a functional path down to the river. There are two tables , a fire pit and a grille. I used all of these during my trip. Plenty of dead fallen wood at the site for building and sustaining a fire. Other than the occasional paddler, this site is very secluded. I had no issues getting to the site based on the hosts directions. I use Verizon for mobile service and sustained 5G connectivity throughout my stay. I'll definitely be returning to this site in the future.

Beautiful, secluded place for a quick weekend getaway. Very private. The site was clean and well maintained. Once you get to Live Oak, the directions were very easy to follow, even in the dark! The site does require leveling, and I would follow the host’s recommendation for 4 wheel drive. We did not have to use it this weekend, but we’re glad to have it. The site is the perfect size for one vehicle/small camper, and a tent. We really enjoyed our stay!

Nice private spot. It's beautiful day and night. Night time you can see many stars since there is not a lot of light pollution around. Be careful going down to the river though. It's steep. I used the provided ropes to hold onto. The stepping stones could use a little re done. But not a big deal. Nice fire pit and tables. I will be returning in the future.

A remarkable spot on the Swanee river. Place for solitude and beauty. Everything went smoothly. The only caution would be the possible need for four-wheel-drive in the rainy season. The rope walkway down to the river was fantastic and needed. Highly recommended and plan to be back.

We love tent camping ⛺️ The directions to get there were clear. We went swimming (be careful with the current it’s a bit strong). Fishing was amazing we got a big one 🎣. It was so quiet and peacefully. If you want to get away and connect with nature this is the perfect place. The host answer all my questions before getting there and was so friendly.

Good secluded spot. Dirt roads on the way might be better with a truck or suv. Loved being right on the river and seeing occasional kayakers.

Our family enjoyed our short stay at Suwannee Glades! We plan on coming back soon! Although it was a great trip, future guests should bring floor protection for their tents because of roots. There is a small tree stump in the drive way leading up to camp so proceed with caution! Directions were easy once we figured it out but take it slow because it is easy to miss the gate.

This place here is perfect for private camping literally no other campers but you the river and woods . I took my dog it was so quiet and peaceful I would definitely recommend and I will come back with my kids I think they would love it . Campfire/2 tables on site and a new grill ! The view of the water was absolutely beautiful 10 out of 10 !!
