We have it all here at Seminole Springs. We are open for tent camping.First come, First serve.
We also have 3 units inside the lodge for the people who need just a step up from glamping, but not quite the whole hotel experience. These are beautiful comfortable rooms with half baths in the rooms. The showers are located in the lodge bathhouse. WE have the Jungle themed room, the Equestrian themed room and the Honeymoon Suite. Each unit comes equipped with its own hot tub. (To book any of these units, just send us a message and we will reserve it for you. The prices for these units are different than that campsite and glamping site prices.)
The Grist Mill is also available for rent too! This is a very romantic, yet rustic getaway equipped with a half bath as well. Very secluded and private overlooking the spring on one side and the water fall on the other. Sit outside on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature and at night the sound of the waterfall will lull you to sleep. The shower is located in the Lodge bathhouse. (To book this unit you must send a message to us and we will reserve it for you. The price is different than the campsites but we will go over that with you)

Bring bug spray and sun screen. If you need something, don't worry! There is a Dollar General, a gas station and a small cafe within walking distance.
We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking.
Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path.
This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge
hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you.
We allow campfires.
The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit.
We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish.
Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature.
Camp Seminole Spring is mid-way (approx.. 22 miles) between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, which are two thriving cities in this area of Florida. Ocala, the ‘horse capital of the world’ showcases a brand new multi-billion-dollar equestrian center which draws people from all over the world.
This scenic property has an artesian spring which pushes out 1.6 million gallons of water per day rated among the top three percent of water in the world with an 8.4 natural pH. This water fills the pond and then continues on to flow into Orange Creek.
Camp Seminole Springs was established in the 1940’s as a honeymoon resort and campground. The founders built a heart-shaped ‘pond-spring’ which is filled with the crystal-clear water pushed out from the spring where guests can lounge by the beach or gaze down into the bottom through the glass-like water or take a refreshing swim.
At the top of the hill overlooking the heart-shaped spring, one will find the rustic Great Lodge where guests can come and mingle with each other, enjoy a relaxing conversation and a drink on the veranda or just sit and watch the activity in and around the spring.

The FOLC Farm (Florida Outdoor Learning Collective) is a homestead, outdoor learning center, and community event space in Gainesville, FL. Situated on 5 wooded acres, The FOLC Farm is only minutes from downtown Gainesville and the University of Florida by car or bike trail, and within walking distance of Payne's Prairie State Park La Chua Trail, Boulware Spring, Sweetwater Preserve trail system, and the Hawthorne bike trail. Guests are welcome at the occasional public social events held onsite (separate from the campground). At The FOLC Farm, you will find the perfect blend of nature, culture, and convenience.
At the entrance of the property is a self-contained, family-friendly campground with nine non-electric sites (five tent sites and four car camping sites). You may also rent the entire campground for your private group (usually $300 on weekends, $200 on weekdays — please message to inquire). At the campground, you have access to a shared campfire, picnic tables, grill, composting toilet, sink with running water, shower with hot water, changing room, and some art supplies and games to enjoy during your stay. The host lives on the homestead and is available if you need assistance.
Please note:
The five tent sites are within the campground circle where no cars are allowed for camper safety. The parking area is within 150 feet (45 meters) of the various sites, and a cart is available to move your gear. Sites are 25–50 feet (8–15 meters) apart.
Dogs are not allowed for the safety and comfort of other campers. If your private group is renting the whole campground, you may bring a leashed pet when it is not in your tent or van.
If you are looking for a single private campsite far from town, this is not for you. However, if you would like to experience a campground on a working homestead and learning center, with the ability to interact with other guests if you wish, while still being conveniently close to downtown and trail systems, this is a great fit.
This wooded 5-acre property is very close to thousands of acres of state park land and also adjacent to a rural/suburban neighborhood. Therefore, you can expect to hear both typical neighborhood sounds (cars, children) as well as wildlife such as Barred Owls, Sandhill Cranes, and occasional deer visits.

Rennigers Antique Center is located right up the street (less than 5 minutes away) for some great picking. We are conveniently close to the Central Florida Attractions and the beach on both east and west coasts within an hour drivep. A few Campers favorite places to visit are Mount Dora Bike Trail - 2.6 miles, Kelly Park - 11 miles and Kings Landing 12 miles from farm.
We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee.

In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us.
Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property.
Little by little we have evolved into more of a need to share with the community and help others with the relaxing qualities our farm and animals have to offer, we want to be able to share and better educate with hands on experiences, teach kindness, patience, confidence and help others to be the best they can be.

The property is definitely different then most. The site itself is super spacious, and has great tree coverage from some ancient oaks. the site can hold up to an extra 5 tents if neened. There is solar power to the tee pee with a 750w solar inverter connected to two deep cycle batteries. Now to get to the site you have to go through the main busy part of the property (we literally have planes, trains and automobiles and more). But once you get to the site you feel the nature. Also right next to the property about 100 yd from where the property starts there is an entrance to a boat ramp (which has a 2 mi canal that goes to lake Apopka where you can launch a canoe or kayak, or do some fishing), also a 2.6 mi nature trail, and about 100 yd as well there is a 25 mile trail that you can bike, walk or horseback ride. That trail is a part of the Apopka wildlife drive which also starts not far from the property. It's a free nature drive on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays plus holidays. We are around 15 to 20 minutes from a few different springs such as wekiva springs, wekiva Island, Rock springs and Kings landing. We are about 45 minutes from SeaWorld, aquatica, volcano Bay, universal studios and more.

Private, peaceful camping is available with full RV hook-up that includes sewer, 50 amp electric with a 30 amp adapter, and water. Your campsite is located right in the heart of our farm.
While at your site, you will see and surely be entertained by our goats, sheep, horse, Charlie and Dottie Mae our Kunekune pigs, chickens, Eduardo our turkey, and many more. The wildlife that you see is dependent on the season but likely includes deer, sand cranes, and the occasional bald eagles.
Pets are welcome. We just ask for the safety of our farm friends that they stay on a leash.
A fire pit and picnic table is at each site.
We also include animal feed so you can feed the animals through the fence at your leisure. We kindly ask that you only feed them their feed and no other feed to ensure their health.
For those needing grocery delivery. Instacart and Shipt delivers to Collins Farm on a regular basis.
The historic town of Micanopy is just a few minutes' drive from Collins Farm and offers antique shopping, restaurants, unique gift shops, and entertainment.

We also have 3 units inside the lodge for the people who need just a step up from glamping, but not quite the whole hotel experience. These are beautiful comfortable rooms with half baths in the rooms. The showers are located in the lodge bathhouse. WE have the Jungle themed room, the Equestrian themed room and the Honeymoon Suite. The Grist Mill is also available for rent too! This is a very romantic, yet rustic getaway equipped with a half bath as well. Sit outside on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature and at night the sound of the waterfall will lull you to sleep. The shower is located in the Lodge bathhouse. We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking.
Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path.
This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge
hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you.

The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit.
We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish.
Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature.
Camp Seminole Spring is mid-way (approx.. 22 miles) between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, which are two thriving cities in this area of Florida. Ocala, the ‘horse capital of the world’ showcases a brand new multi-billion-dollar equestrian center which draws people from all over the world.
This scenic property has an artesian spring which pushes out 1.6 million gallons of water per day rated among the top three percent of water in the world with an 8.4 natural pH. This water fills the pond and then continues on to flow into Orange Creek.
Camp Seminole Springs was established in the 1940’s as a honeymoon resort and campground. The founders built a heart-shaped ‘pond-spring’ which is filled with the crystal-clear water pushed out from the spring where guests can lounge by the beach or gaze down into the bottom through the glass-like water or take a refreshing swim.
At the top of the hill overlooking the heart-shaped spring, one will find the rustic Great Lodge where guests can come and mingle with each other, enjoy a relaxing conversation and a drink on the veranda or just sit and watch the activity in and around the spring.

At the entrance of the property is a self-contained, family-friendly campground with nine non-electric sites (five tent sites and four car camping sites). You may also rent the entire campground for your private group (usually $300 on weekends, $200 on weekdays — please message to inquire). At the campground, you have access to a shared campfire, picnic tables, grill, composting toilet, sink with running water, shower with hot water, changing room, and some art supplies and games to enjoy during your stay. The host lives on the homestead and is available if you need assistance.
Please note:
The five tent sites are within the campground circle where no cars are allowed for camper safety. The parking area is within 150 feet (45 meters) of the various sites, and a cart is available to move your gear. Sites are 25–50 feet (8–15 meters) apart.
Dogs are not allowed for the safety and comfort of other campers. If your private group is renting the whole campground, you may bring a leashed pet when it is not in your tent or van.
If you are looking for a single private campsite far from town, this is not for you. However, if you would like to experience a campground on a working homestead and learning center, with the ability to interact with other guests if you wish, while still being conveniently close to downtown and trail systems, this is a great fit.
This wooded 5-acre property is very close to thousands of acres of state park land and also adjacent to a rural/suburban neighborhood. We are conveniently close to the Central Florida Attractions and the beach on both east and west coasts within an hour drivep. A few Campers favorite places to visit are Mount Dora Bike Trail - 2.6 miles, Kelly Park - 11 miles and Kings Landing 12 miles from farm.
We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee.

In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us.
Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property.

The property is definitely different then most. The site itself is super spacious, and has great tree coverage from some ancient oaks. the site can hold up to an extra 5 tents if neened. There is solar power to the tee pee with a 750w solar inverter connected to two deep cycle batteries. Now to get to the site you have to go through the main busy part of the property (we literally have planes, trains and automobiles and more). But once you get to the site you feel the nature. Also right next to the property about 100 yd from where the property starts there is an entrance to a boat ramp (which has a 2 mi canal that goes to lake Apopka where you can launch a canoe or kayak, or do some fishing), also a 2.6 mi nature trail, and about 100 yd as well there is a 25 mile trail that you can bike, walk or horseback ride. That trail is a part of the Apopka wildlife drive which also starts not far from the property. It's a free nature drive on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays plus holidays. We are around 15 to 20 minutes from a few different springs such as wekiva springs, wekiva Island, Rock springs and Kings landing. We are about 45 minutes from SeaWorld, aquatica, volcano Bay, universal studios and more.

We just finished (well 2 years ago) traveling the country in an RV with five of our 7 kids (oldest two were in college) and we had a terrible time finding places to stay in Saint Augustine when we came home to visit. I hope that we can offer some nice people a safe and beautiful place to park their rig.

Collins Farm is conveniently located 20 minutes south of Gainesville, right off of 441. OR 30 minutes north of Ocala, off of interstate 75. Quick on and off highway, less than 5 miles from exit 384.
Private, peaceful camping is available with full RV hook-up that includes sewer, 50 amp electric with a 30 amp adapter, and water. Your campsite is located right in the heart of our farm.
While at your site, you will see and surely be entertained by our goats, sheep, horse, Charlie and Dottie Mae our Kunekune pigs, chickens, Eduardo our turkey, and many more. The wildlife that you see is dependent on the season but likely includes deer, sand cranes, and the occasional bald eagles.
Pets are welcome. We just ask for the safety of our farm friends that they stay on a leash.
A fire pit and picnic table is at each site.
We also include animal feed so you can feed the animals through the fence at your leisure. We kindly ask that you only feed them their feed and no other feed to ensure their health.
For those needing grocery delivery. Instacart and Shipt delivers to Collins Farm on a regular basis.
The historic town of Micanopy is just a few minutes' drive from Collins Farm and offers antique shopping, restaurants, unique gift shops, and entertainment.
Paynes Prarie Preserve State Park is also within a few miles and offers hiking trails and wildlife sightseeing.
There is also trails for horseback riding within two miles of Collins Farm.

This is a fantastic site. It’s also worth going out of your way for. The campsite is new, clean and private. There was an abundance of shade and a great breeze off the water. Hiking, boating and a park are all near by. I will be staying here again. The owners were also vey kind and responsive.

Nice and cozy, tucked away in the trees. It was so peaceful, calm, and quiet. A great spot to just get away from the craziness in the cities. Cabin was nice and clean, bathrooms were really nice, outside shower was nice touch.

It has very good energy, and it's an actual campground in the woods, rather than just someone's backyard. These are new facilities with ongoing new development, and it has an outdoor shower (rainfall showerhead in cobblestones) that is no less than amazing, and the bathroom is very nice and always clean as well. The campsite are fairly private and generally quiet.
They have decent cell service for Verizon, I get three bars all the way on the back side of the camp.
I truly believe this is the best Hipcamp in all of Florida, and you need to visit this one! The camp hosts are amazing, extremely accommodating, and kind.
I flew my sons into Orlando so we could all watch the Artemis II launch together. My oldest son is a musician, but was unable to bring his guitar and tiny amp onto the flight, so he had to leave it at home.

Sandpaper Sam, the host is amazing! This Hipcamp feels more like a campground less than just being docking. The restroom were excellent, exceptionally clean, and the shower was amazing! I flew my sons to Florida to watch Artemis II launch, and my oldest plays guitar and could not bring his guitar on the plane. Sam pulled up in his van, and we were talking with him about everything, and he learned that my son played guitar, so he promptly pulled a guitar out from behind his seat and handed it to my son to play for the remainder of his visit in Florida!
A lot of work is being done to build up this Hipcamp as one of the premiere sites in Florida. Would highly recommend!

First time using hip camp, my husband and I found this campground traveling from salt springs, and were in mount Dora. Just a few minutes out of town, and price was right, we booked. Great spot! Sam and Boomer were awesome hosts, the place is in its beginning stages, but amazing nonetheless. We stayed a site 6, encountered wildlife, peacefulness and a definite on our camping trail through Florida. Nothing fancy, PERFECT!

Cassandra and Walt were wonderful hosts and have a beautiful set of land that is well maintained for their guests. I stayed in the cabin, which was perfectly curated for a home-y, country feel. The cabin was fully stocked with everything you may need in the kitchen and bathroom, which made packing a breeze! There was a grill, table & chairs, and a fire pit on the outside of the cabin which made a great evening hangout spot. (Firewood provided) They have chickens which you’re welcome to grab eggs from, and a couple adorable kitties running around to try and make friends with. My favorite part of my stay here is how dog friendly they are! I brought my border collie and he had the BEST time being able to roam around and smell things, and the cabin was perfect to leave him in while I was at the local springs kayaking. The property also has several camper and tent sites, which is great to have options but even better that I was able to have several friends book on the same property! I highly recommend this Hipcamp and will definitely be back!

Cassandra was so welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a large group that booked several sites and she was so accommodating and communicative. Hookie's Hideaway is perfect for tent campers and the Blueberry Farm Country Cottage was a DREAM! There's a site that fits whatever style of camping you prefer, whether it's minimal or glamping. The location is very ideal if you're looking to explore nearby nature attractions like Silver Springs State Park. If you're thinking of booking, do it!

this was my second time coming to camp seminole springs! Whenever i come to Gainesville i like to stay here since it’s not too far, and it’s nice to be in nature. there’s hiking trails and a spring to jump in. it’s always so enjoyable and refreshing. Just be mindful of ticks, since last time i came i saw a few on me after hiking back through the forest shrub, but other than that it’s the perfect spot!!

We traveled to Gainesville for about a week and thankfully, we found the Collins farm. It was a perfect place at a perfect time for us. It was great to see all the sheep and goats and the horses, the area was very peaceful and in a great location to I 75 and UF.

This was such a great property. We came as a family of four, along with our doggo, who never usually gets to come along. Had a blast swimming in the spring, soaking in the sand boil, and tramping around the trails. Many memories were made and we hope to come back!
