About the Property Welcome to **Laurel & Lore**, a peaceful nature retreat tucked away on 1.6 acres beneath mature oaks in Georgia's Lowcountry. Whether you're here to unwind, reconnect with nature, work remotely, or explore the surrounding area, you'll find a quiet place to slow down and settle in. We are just 30 minutes away from Historic Savannah,GA. Your accommodations are located toward the back of the property, creating a sense of privacy while still offering convenient access to everything the region has to offer. Mornings are often filled with the songs of Eastern Bluebirds, cardinals, robins, woodpeckers, and other native wildlife, while evenings invite you to gather around a fire, watch the stars emerge, or simply enjoy the peaceful sounds of the countryside. We live in the main house near the front of the property and are available if you need anything during your stay. Our family, including our two children and friendly outdoor cat, may occasionally be seen near the front of the property. Depending on availability, you may also see other guests enjoying different areas of Laurel & Lore. Our location offers the best of both worlds—peaceful country surroundings with easy access to historic towns, nature preserves, and the vibrant city of Savannah. Whether you're planning a quiet retreat, birdwatching, hiking, kayaking, sightseeing, or simply discovering local restaurants and hidden gems, you'll find plenty to explore nearby. Whether you're planning a weekend escape, a family camping trip, a birding getaway, or simply looking for a slower pace, you'll find a comfortable place to unwind here. Imagine opening the RV door just after sunrise as the Lowcountry slowly wakes around you. Pour yourself a cup of coffee, settle into a chair outside, and simply listen. Some mornings you'll hear the cheerful chatter of Eastern Bluebirds. Other days it might be the familiar call of a Carolina Wren, the drumming of a woodpecker, or a chorus of robins welcoming the day. Even if you can't identify every bird, you'll quickly notice how different mornings feel when you slow down long enough to hear them. Whether you're an experienced birder, a wildlife photographer, or simply someone looking for a quieter start to the day, this is a place to pause before the world gets busy. After breakfast, you're perfectly situated to spend the day exploring nearby treasures like Savannah National Wildlife Refuge, Ebenezer Creek, Blue Sky Preserve, Skidaway Island State Park, or historic Savannah before returning for an evening around the fire beneath the stars. The RV comfortably sleeps up to six guests, making it ideal for couples, families, or a small group of friends. Four-legged family members are welcome too, with a built-in pet kennel conveniently located in the master bedroom. Private Wellness Glamping Retreat Near Savannah

Escape to a private Lowcountry wellness retreat beneath the oaks, about 30 minutes from downtown Savannah. Designed for two, Eichel Haus combines the comforts of a thoughtfully designed studio with the slower rhythm of a nature stay — including a soaking tub, private oak-shaded deck, outdoor shower, gas fire pit, coffee and tea station, workspace and Wi-Fi. Your stay also includes access to a guided yoga and Pilates routine created by a local yoga instructor especially for Laurel & Lore. Take your practice outside onto the deck beneath the oaks or enjoy it inside the studio, with yoga mats and equipment provided. Spend the rest of your stay however you need it most — morning coffee on the deck, birdwatching beneath the oaks, a long soak, an evening by the fire, or simply time to slow down. Guests can also add optional Laurel & Lore wellness experiences, including sound healing and Bio-Well sessions, for a deeper reset. Eichel Haus sits toward the back of our 1.6-acre property, tucked beneath mature oaks and away from the road. The studio has its own entrance, dedicated deck and outdoor space where you can relax, practice yoga or Pilates, enjoy your morning coffee, or unwind by the fire. Laurel & Lore is a small retreat property, so there is another separate glamping stay nearby. You may occasionally see other guests coming and going, but each stay has its own designated space, giving you a comfortable place to settle in and enjoy the property at your own pace. Wake With the Birds | Quiet RV Near Savannah

What a peaceful stay that was! We had everything we needed. The camper was very clean. We woke up to the bird’s chirping and it felt so wonderful. I highly recommend Ivelise’s place. It was very affordable too.

Class B and Van Outside of Savannah

It’s a nice and quiet neighborhood. The drive to downtown Savannah was quick to get to. The storage shed was super convenient since we were stopping for the night and we had a spot to put our cooler and food.
