Our accommodations include a primitive campsites along a salt water creek, and one RV siteon our farm.
We are located just 30 minutes from nearby beaches and downtown Charleston. Use our property as your base of operation as you have fun at the beach or tour the historic city, or just stay for a quiet get away in the woods.
There is also a lot of wildlife such as:
wild turkeys, woodstorks, raccoons, and alligators.
Fishing and crabbing are available on the salt water creek next to the campsite as well.

The Neal Creek campsites are semi-wooded areas with plenty of shade. They are very large private, peaceful and quiet sites.
The Back Forty Camping is semi-wooded area with plenty of privacy!
View the stars at night, relax during the day or if you are into biking or hiking, go to the Overmountain Victory trail located about 15 minutes away and enjoy the 6.7 mile loop around Lake Whelchel right off I-85.

FREE FIREWOOD FOR LIMITED TIME: I have more split oak firewood than I know what to do with. While it lasts, campers can take as much as they need for free. The wood is piled at the site.
Our homestead is home to our family, chickens, and a livestock guardian dog.
We also have a small orchard and a garden.
Most of our 12+ acres are wooded and our property backs up to thousands of acres of public forest land owned by Clemson University. A trail connects our backyard to the main network of hiking/mountain biking trails in Clemson Forest. For those familiar with the forest, our property is in the vicinity of Wildcat Technical, Wounded Road, and Chainbreaker trails.
As private and wooded as our property is, we are only 10-15 minutes from downtown Clemson and less than 10 minutes from the small towns of Central and Six Mile. Lakes Hartwell and Keowee are also short drives.
We currently offer a single campsite, which can accommodate several tents or a camper van. Our campsite features a composting toilet outhouse, and water is available from spigots at our house. Though fairly close to our house, the campsite has a very private feel due to being completely surrounded by a hardwood forest.

The campsite was nice and quite most of the time. The river was very low though, we lost many hooks by getting caught on the brush and stumps. We didn't have good luck with fishing, they just was not bitting. It did rain a good bit of our time there but overall the site itself was very peaceful and that was nice.

This is my second time staying there and it was amazing as usual. Very secluded, the river is so nice to go kayaking or tubing, the spot itself is clean and spacious. Potable water is a bit of a walk, but I'm glad they have it-- same with the outhouse. I'd love to stay again in the fall!

My family of five had a wonderful time tent camping! The site is great. The host was very responsive and answered all of my questions. Very spacious and pretty private. The water spigot was about 100 yards (my husband's estimate). The water is not accessible from the spot we were in, but it's a very short walk to the boat ramp. My sons loved kayaking, fishing and exploring and my daughter loved swimming. It was a great trip!
