The setup was perfect. I was a little worried about making it down to the site with my travel trailer (27 ft) but it was doable. Plenty of space to spread out and had plenty of privacy. We would definitely stay again.

Camp site was amazing. Jame's was very accommodating allowing me to switch sites when I realized there was no power on the site I originally booked. Location is beautiful. No light polution, can see tons of stars at night. Bathroom and shower are small but heated and air conditioned with plenty of hot water. Easy access trails to the restroom/shower. Had a lovely time.

This was exactly what we were looking for when searching for our daughter’s first camping trip. The owners were so nice and hospitable and the property grounds are just beautiful. The trails throughout the woods light up at night which made my daughter smile for hours on end. She especially loved the rope swing and visiting the horses!. Don’t skip this spot in your search. You’ll regret it.

I loved this site! Super beautiful with the trees and river. There's ample room for 2 vehicles and 2 tents. No picnic table which would've been nice, but we brought our own and it was ok. The fire pit was nice as well. The river bank was steep so not easy to get in and out of, but I think there's a boat ramp somewhere. I would definitely love to stay here again, overall a really nice spot

We loved tent camping at the Far Out space! It was very secluded - we never saw anyone else! There was plenty of down trees for firewood and great flat spots for our tent. Mike was super helpful when we got there - he made one trip when I got there and another when my husband got there with the ATV. We were nervous about the 5-8 minute walk and not having our car right there but with Mike's help it was very doable! We will definitely be back!

We love Luck Farms!!!! We've been here multiple times and each time gets better and better. The owners are always improving the farms aesthetics. The sites are all wonderful. We've stayed at each of their sites on different occasions. The kids love the swings and the trails. We were able to enjoy our outdoor adventures and created wonderful memories.

Stephanie was super helpful and directive. Land felt private and nice, but could still hear the road nearby. We got in super late so didn't explore much, but seemed spacious and pretty well kept. Kinda spooky vibes, but still safe.

We enjoyed our time there. They we making improvements to the property while we were there... it will only get better with time. We were there for a disc golf tournament... the course is amazing! Beginners might be intimidated by it, however. It would be one of my favorites, if it wasn't 3 hours away.

Our stay here was wonderful! The land is absolutely gorgeous, the cabin is well stocked with almost everything you need, and Katie and her husband are just so pleasant and kind! My boys loved meeting the animals, kayaking on the pond, and telling stories around the fire! We would love to come out again sometime for a longer period of time! Highly recommend!!

Rosewood Farm and Agripark is my home. I honestly had about the most amazing childhood one could have on this very land! We hunted, fished, made mud pies and played outside for hours, as long as we were in shouting distance for supper time! I am so fortunate to be the daughter of two amazing parents, who had a dream to build a working farm from nothing more than a logging trail in the woods. They built a 3 story, 10,000 square foot house by themselves- while raising a family! We have 200 acres of farmland that features rolling hills, multiple ponds, creeks, farm animals, show horses and countless wildlife viewing opportunities. Wild turkey and deer roam free all over the farm, coveys of dove fly out from the pastures and trails, and coyotes howl in the night. Listen to the frogs croaking, crickets chirping and whipporwhills calling every evening under a magical blanket of stars. Take a nature hike through the trails that meander through the woods around the park. Our newest venture is to offer primitive camping and some cabin rentals around our 60 acre Agripark! For those wanting to step it up a notch, we have erected a large concrete floor, covered event barn (for parties, family reunions, weddings, cowboy church, etc..,) and also a huge petting zoo barn with an area behind it for pony rides and 4-h/FFA functions. Also, a greenhouse is being erected next, that will teach people about aquaponics and hydroponics! Many things are on the immediate horizon for this special property. While we are under heavy construction at the moment in some areas of the park, many amenities are currently available. Why not unplug from the daily grind and spend time with those that matter most? My goal is to make this land as magical for your family as it has been for mine!

An extensive trail system makes it a breeze to get out into the wilderness. Mountain bike down steep hills, or enjoy well-maintained hiking trails through the trees. The Ellicott Rock Wilderness and the Hellhole Bay Wilderness are particularly interesting for hiking. For rafting, head straight for the Chattooga River.

Throughout the year, you’ll find organized events around the forest lands. The fantastic Sewee Visitor and Environmental Education Center keeps kids entertained. Other events include fishing rodeos and hunting events.

With both dispersed and developed camping options, there are plenty of places to sleep. Bringing an RV? The campgrounds in Cherry Hill Recreation Area and Whetstone Horse Camp are your best bet.

King Creek Campground

King Creek CG has been one of my favorite spots in the entire world since I was a kid. This is a can't-miss, special place! Lots of fishing, hiking, untouched waterfalls, gorgeous views and the amazing Chattooga River all in one place! I cannot recommend this CG enough!! Enjoy!! ~Bobby

Burrells Ford Camping

One of our favorite campgrounds in South Carolina! Burrells Ford Campground is along the Chattooga River, which is a Wild and Scenic River. The river is popular with fly fishermen and white-water boaters. The Chattooga River Trail is a 15.5 mile hiking trail along the river with multiple waterfalls. Kings Creek Falls is just minutes from the campground. The campground has an abundance of campsites that are maintained by the Forest Service. The majority of sites offer privacy and are great for groups. The campground is a short hike from the parking area, which deters extravagant car campers, but is still convenient. There are fire rings, picnic tables, bear-bag hangers, and an outhouse. Best of all - it is free!

Woodall Shoals

Woodall Shoals is a magical part of the Chattooga River, a federally protected, Wild and Scenic river! As a well-known boater put-in and with access to little river beaches, you are likely to run into others hanging out in the sun or trying to put water under their paddles. From the parking lot, there are several short trails leading to a handful of campsites. Most have make-shift fire rings left behind by past campers. Leave no trace principles apply here! Be sure to check out the magnificent rapid that is Woodall Shoals! The rapid and surrounding rocks shaped by the river's current are jaw-dropping! Some spots are ok for swimming, but use precaution. For any river lovers, Woodall is a dream. Definitely a favorite spot of mine!

its a wonderful campground that overlooks the lake. the recreation area and camping areas are very near each other. the sites are not secluded, so it's a friendly atmosphere! great for families and social campers!

Burrells Ford Camping

Great remote, primitive campsite right beside a river. This campsite is perfect for someone looking for a cheap, quiet camping expereince with not too many ammenities. A 5 minute walk down a gravel road leads you to several campsites so it is not completly drive in but you do not need to backpack your gear in. All the tentsites are first-come first -serve and there are only a few so get there early.
