Cozy campsite on the back of our property. We are in a suburban area, within Greenville city limits. We are less than 5 minutes from the entrance to Paris Mountain State Park which boasts amazing hiking, fishing, and mountain biking. Our property is situated along a popular cyclist route and only five miles to downtown Greenville. Be sure to bring your bike! Excellent location if you are trying to camp close to the city, but also want to be close to an amazing state park.This site is surrounded by trees in the back corner of our property. At our site we have a picnic table, and a folding table you can use to prepare meals. We have a pop-up outdoor solar shower and camping toilet. We provide gallons of drinking water and will add water to the solar shower daily (or as needed by campers). We have Edison bulb string lights throughout our property for a cozy and fun atmosphere. We have some yard games that can be set up to play. We provided camping chairs to use around a private campsite fire pit.

The location is close to a busy road and just off another roadway. If you have a noise machine and a hard side camper you can make it work. Between the traffic and dog across the street, it is loud and not private. The host has tried to make it a reasonable place to stay. The location just isn’t compatible.

​A truly healing stay. I traveled from Charleston to Greenville to revisit some meaningful spots and say goodbye to old memories before moving. This campsite was not only affordable but felt incredibly safe which was important since my husband was on a work trip and I was camping with just my dog. I’m so thankful for this location, it was exactly what I needed. It was a camping experience but near the city.

If you have a trailer, I wouldn't recommend camping here, especially if it's over 12' long. Mine is only 12' and the back entrance is too tight of a turn with a ditch, culverts and a small fence opening to try to navigate. The front entrance is okay but there really isn't any good place to turn around. This is a backyard a d a tight one at that. However, other than that, it was set up nicely. My one interaction with the host was fine. They leave out water, it's a fine space if you are camping with no trailer. Just a heads up if you happen to be pulling anything.

We had a great time! The site was in a suburban area, and on a smaller piece of property than I expected, but the road was not very busy and the site itself had beautiful trees and was set up very nicely. Our experience was fun and Sarah made everything very easy for us!

I had a great overnight stay. They provided a gallon of spring water which was a nice touch. Next time I’m in the area I’ll definitely stay again. It’s only a 15 minute drive to downtown Greenville. Thanks

Sarah has setup a very nice hipcamp for those wanting to be close to Greenville. Had no problem finding the spot and traffic was minimal at night. Picnic table, chairs, fire ring, and popup camp toilet were nice touches! I also came by bicycle and found getting to/from this hipcamp to downtown was easy enough. Highly recommended!

Lovely set up very close to Paris Mountain. It is in a suburban area and near (but not on) a main road. It allows for easy access to the park and Greenville. The family has done an excellent job setting up the site - has everything you would want - and are very accommodating.

Staying here was easy peasy and our hosts made it so with easy to find entrance, parking and directions. We invited them to stop by and say hi otherwise you would never see them. Very sweet couple with big hearts and an adorable little girl. Highly recommend~!

Sarah’s place was just as described. She provided everything I needed and more. The s’mores were such a sweet touch, thank you! The space is definitely very open and exposed. It’s right off the street, but it’s a side street so there wasn’t much traffic. It was pretty quiet, only heard the cars from the main road at night. Neighborhood was quiet.

Great place close to town. Hosts went out of their way for us- camp fire set up, camp chairs, water, toilet etc. we only needed a quick place to say so we didn’t have time to use it all. We will be back! It is suburban but private which is what we needed .
