Just a small piece of God's creation right on the Saluda River. Come and enjoy the solitude and serenity of this spot on the Saluda River, surrounded by thousands of acres of forests and farms. Camp on the river, in the field or overlook the river from the high bluff in the old growth forest.  The gravel road going down to the river is finished, I drive my Honda Civic down daily and no issues (very low clearance). Kayaking from Holiday Dam to the camp site is incredible. The trip takes about 3.5 hours with lots of shoals and rapids. You can also kayak or tube from the camp site to Erwin Mill bridge in a little over an hour. This is more of a river float with just a couple rapids, but equally as beautiful.

Nice Quiet Spot
Easy to find, plenty of flat spots for tents. Not too many bugs. Great spot!

Heaven
Serenity on the Saluda is perfectly named. We enjoyed the peaceful and private location. It was a perfect place for our pups to run off-leash and play in the river. Falling asleep to the sounds of crickets and katydids under the stars was magical. John was very kind and helped us out. John, thank you for sharing your piece of Heaven on Earth.

Pretty private and water access for the pups. Can't get much better than that. Also... Left notes for filling up water at the house which was very much appreciated

Amazing and quiet place
We absolutely loved this campsite! We loved the river access and the location. There was an outhouse as well which was a really nice touch! John was very friendly and sold us wood so we didn't have to go get any. He was an attentive host and I would definitely recommend this place. This was such a quiet gem and we will absolutely be back!!

The sight was gorgeous. I will say on my trip it rained and I don’t recommend going if you don’t have 4x4 because with the rain you will slide a ton getting your car in and out. All around a very beautiful sight. Very secluded
