Cold Spring Basecamp is the perfect spot to launch your adventure. Located in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Whether camping, glamping or high in a treehouse, Cold Spring Basecamp is the jumping off point for biking, hiking, paddling, zip lining, waterfalls or just enjoy our beautiful 38 acre property with mountain bike trails, hiking trails, beautiful creeks, waterfalls and endless relaxation potential. Three rustic and historic cabins recently rehabbed, but keeping all the old charm. One open wall lets in lots of light and the old wood accents the walls, kitchen, eating area, and bunk beds (with queen on the bottom and twin up top). Cook over the stone fire pit or on cast iron pots and pan on the propane stove. Full equipped kitchen for all your needs, including French press, and tea pot. Relax under the solar lights and charge your devices using our solar powered charging station. Campsites are all nestled in the woods and next to the creek and are all spacious and private. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring with grill for cooking over the fire. Additionally a water filter is provided for purifying drinking water from the creek. Launch your adventure from Cold Spring or stay on the property to enjoy the mountain bike trails, hike to the waterfall and cliffs or relax in the meadow. Minutes to the world class trails of Ride Rock Creek Bike Park and beautiful Lake Summit, just down the road from Ride Kanuga Bike Park and the world famous Green River, with class I-V rapids. We are at the back door of 86 miles of trails and dozens of famous waterfalls in Dupont State Forest. The steep, fast and fun Gorge Zipline is located in the quaint town of Saluda, along with shops and great restaurants. The shops and restaurants of Flat Rock and just up the hill and a bit further is the thriving town on Hendersonville, apple country and many of the areas wineries.

Enjoy this large spacious campsite next to Cold Spring Branch. Park in the first parking lot and use our wagon to load your gear down the trail to the private site tucked into the trees along the creek. A picnic table a fire ring are available and several large tent pads are cozied up next to the creek. Fetch water from the creek and use our Sawyer water filter to ensure clean treated drinking water. Hike and bike our trails, lounge in the grassy meadow or just relax in the shade. Minutes to the world class trails of Ride Rock Creek Bike Park and beautiful Lake Summit, just down the road from Ride Kanuga Bike Park and the world famous Green River, with class I-V rapids. Spacious campsite next to Cold Spring Branch. Park in the upper lot and follow the trail with your gear in our wagon to creek and campsite. The locust log steps take you down to the picnic table and fire ring and the tent pads are cozied up next to the creek. There are at least two tent pad areas and lots of shade. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail with the rhododendron bushes overhanging your seat next to the creek. Minutes to the world class trails of Ride Rock Creek Bike Park and beautiful Lake Summit, just down the road from Ride Kanuga Bike Park and the world famous Green River, with class I-V rapids. Our most remote cabin, nestled in the woods between two creeks, Teela Springs and Cold Spring Branch. Two bunk beds (double on the bottom and twin up top) provide lots of room for comfortable sleeping. Look out over the fire while cooking dinner on the propane stove with full kitchen amenities available. Relax on our rustic bench by the fire under the glow of solar lights. Read by lantern light on our comfy mattresses while charging your devices on our solar powered battery. When you can't relax anymore, peddle right our of the cabin into our system of mountain bike trails or hike to waterfall and cliffs. The first cabin you come to is Bill's cabin and the site of a former homestead. Two bunk beds provide lots of room for comfortable sleeping. There is an additional long twin bed or comfy couch between the bunks. Look out over the fire while cooking dinner on the propane stove with full kitchen amenities available. Relax by the wood burning stove or campfire under the glow of solar lights. Roll down the cover for privacy at night and read by lantern light on our comfy mattresses while charging your devices on our solar powered battery. When you can't relax anymore, peddle right out of the cabin into our system of mountain bike trails or hike to waterfall and cliffs. Rustic Open Air Cabin - Corn Crib

The corn crib has loads of rustic charm. The corn crib was an old corn storage barn and all of the wood is salvaged from the old structure , everything from the unique door to the old bunk beds. Comfortably sleep 6 in beds with cozy full size mattresses on the bottom bunk and twin beds on the top bunk. The kitchen is stocked with all the supplies you will need from a two burner propane stove, cast iron pots and pans, eating and cooking utensils, tea pot, French press and percolator. Eat at the old rustic table or at your private fire pit. Enjoy the soft glow of our Edison overhead lights and read by your own bedside lantern. When you can't relax anymore, peddle right our of the cabin into our system of mountain bike trails or hike to waterfall and cliffs. Welcome to our enchanting treehouse, nestled high among the trees in a serene woodland paradise. This unique retreat offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, providing an unforgettable experience for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. As you climb the trail, pass by the firepit nestled next to the creek and then ascend the steps to the swing bridge platform. You get your best view of the treehouse floating in the sky as you start over the swinging bridge. The treehouse floats high above the forest and when you land on the other side of the bridge you are greeted by a real treehouse. Fully supported by four poplar trees the treehouse blends among the forest canopy. You get a glimpse of the wood inspired interior through the glass door. Open the door to reveal a cozy treehouse full of charm. Custom walnut countertops and shelves, harvested from our property, frame the kitchen, which includes a cooktop, fridge and all the amenities you need. Swing the kitchen windows open to the outside deck, which towers above the forest floor. Eat on the outside bar top or on the bistro table inside or outside. Slide the glass doors open and lay on the comfy queen bed, soak in the views, listen for the nearby waterfall as you fully relax in the trees. The full bathroom is full of charm with a custom tiled shower, sink and toilet, all surrounded by a tree inside the bathroom. The ladder to the loft snakes through a floating net. The loft is full of windows and light and is a perfect reading nook or a cozy spot to let the kids cuddle up on the queen bed in the trees. Head back over the bridge to build a fire next to the creek, hike to the nearby waterfall, take a spin on our bike trails, walk down to our cold plunge, or just let yourself completely relax to the sounds of nature.
