A few features about our property:
- Working farm: Campers are welcome to meet our Icelandic sheep and take a self-guided tour of our farm, along designated pathways.
- Security: The campground and farm are fenced in on three sides with the river being the fourth boundary. Personal code to the entrance gate will be given at check in.
- Bath House: The restored bathhouse is split into boys’ and girls’ sides. Each side has 2 private showers, 4 flushing toilets, sinks, hot water, and gas heat.
- Community Pavilion: The Pavilion is a large 40x30 ft. open sided structure overlooking the Nantahala River. It has an ample fireplace, running water sink, counter space, couches, and table with benches.
- Pack Room: Where the adventure begins! A cozy hub where all guests get local information, view maps, and grab some local seasonal groceries. Also available to all campers are washing sinks with hot water, toaster oven and microwave.
- Communication: Or rather, lack thereof! There's no cell service on the property so it's a great time to get away from it all. There is limited Wi-Fi available near the Pack Room and an emergency landline available.
- Charging: Traveling in an electric vehicle? Recharge for free at our dedicated EV 50amp outlet when you stay at any of our sites. First come, first served.

Heartstone is located on a modestly pitched, terraced slope where a divided mountain stream, the tumbling Squally Creek rejoins itself! The sunlight filters down through the forest canopy providing a warm, inviting glow!! There is a 9'-6" x 10' wooden tent platform, and if needed a new, larger tent pad!
Islandsite is located at the top of the island where the tumbling Squally Creek divides! Access is provided by the 40' long fallen tree bridge! Islandsite is amazing and very unique!
Diamondstone, Heartstone, and Islandsite all feature a picnic table, charcoal grille, and comfort facility. They are all within a short walk from your private parking! Enjoy evenings at the new fire pit area with benches overlooking the fire pit and creek!
Explore the island on the 400' island trail, or go downstream to a nice pool for dipping!

The site works well for very small travel trailers, teardrops, and Class B camper vans. Large RVs, fifth wheels, and Class A motorhomes are not recommended.
A moldering compost privy is conveniently located between the gravel camping area and the start of the trail.
A private quarter-mile trail climbs approximately 260 feet through the forest to a spectacular ridge-top overlook. At the summit, you’ll enjoy breathtaking 270-degree panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. It’s the perfect place to watch sunrise, sunset, meteor showers, and the Milky Way overhead.
The property sits within one of the darkest sky regions in the Southeast, making it ideal for stargazing and astrophotography. On clear nights, thousands of stars fill the sky.

The Cove consists of 12 acres with a tributary stream and spring fed ponds
less than a half mile from the Toccoa River. It was originally the water source for the surrounding properties prior to the city installing a water system. It is completely private and unspoiled nature, with about a mile of walking trails throughout. The Mountaintop is a 3 acre high elevation site bordering 140 acres of undisturbed woods and is also very close to the Toccoa River.
Fantastic location yet very private for base camp to access the many activities in this area, or enjoy the Toccoa River. It is the only campground in Fannin County limited to only one group at a time.
Each site includes 2 access points to the Toccoa River. The Gibbs Drive community river access lot has a charcoal grill, picnic table, boat launch, swimming rock and fire pit with chairs. The Toccoa River Forest community river access lot has a big boat ramp. The river is controlled flow and usually at low water from dawn to about 2 pm, ideal for fishing or swimming/wading/boulder bopping. The River release schedule is available online at
the website TVA.gov.
The River has swift current when the dam is opened for release, usually daily.
This property is conveniently located in Mineral Bluff, Georgia 30559, just 4 miles off the 4-lane highway (Highway 515/76) and just a short drive to Blue Ridge, Georgia; Blairsville, Georgia; Murphy, North Carolina, McCaysville, Georgia and Copper Hill, Tennessee. It is a paved road drive all the way to the entrance. It is located just a few miles from the center of downtown Blue Ridge with art galleries, many restaurants, brew pubs, shopping, the Blue Ridge Brewing Company, Mercier Orchard, the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad, and more!
The Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad runs most of the year from Blue Ridge to McCaysville, right along the Toccoa River.

The Heart Center, a retreat for the mind, body and spirit, sits on 30 acres of beautiful forest land and it is surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest.
The place is an old school site that was literally left to be buried by the forest, until I came along and decided to fix it up, and create a holistic sanctuary
for people wishing to get away from it all. It is now a historic site and a place where one can heal, contemplate, re-energize, and relax in a quiet and pristine environment.
Feel secluded enough to experience your own inner stillness; and, yet, connected enough to enjoy many beautiful area attractions that are just minutes away such as: Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Fontana Dam and the Appalachian Trail, 20 Mile Ranger Station, Cherohala Skyway, and Santeetlah Lake!
The Heart Center is about love, unity, harmony, joy and re-connecting with ourselves, others, and Mother Nature.
At the Heart Center, we take special interest in providing our guests with a uniquely peaceful, positive, comfortable, restorative and joyful experience!
Whether you are laying on a hammock, walking the labyrinth, or just sitting on the deck taking in the sights and sounds, we want you to enjoy.
We offer holistic energy healings, using various modalities such as Reiki and Non-dual Kabbalistic Healing. We also offer Life Coaching, Infrared Sauna, foot detoxification, and yoga, including asana exercises and meditation. Also, checkout the original gymnasium where there are hot showers, clean bathrooms, basketball or pickleball and ping pong. Enjoy our outdoor shower fed by rainwater and spring water with hot water after a long day of outdoor fun! Also have an outhouse on site. Building this property from the ground up, will have a bathhouse and showers this fall of 2026!
When you’re ready to venture off the property, you’ve got everything you need within a short drive. The Thirsty Turtle Beer Garden is just 5 minutes away, is our go-to spot for cold beer and a solid bite after a day on the river. About 10 minutes out you’ll find Tammy’s for ice cream (trust us, you’ll want it), and Kick Start for ice, fuel, and any supplies you forgot to pack.
Salty Pines hits peak season twice a year — and fall might be the better-kept secret. Sitting right where Tennessee, Georgia, and North Carolina meet, our 14 acres between the Ocoee and Hiwassee Rivers turn into a front-row seat for some of the best leaf-peeping in the Southeast every October. The Ocoee River Gorge and the nearby Cherohala Skyway both light up gold, red, and rust, while our off-grid yurts and tent sites give you cooler nights, quieter trails, and a fire ring that finally makes sense again. Whether you're planning a dedicated fall foliage trip or just want camping near Cherokee National Forest during peak color, Salty Pines puts you in the middle of it — not driving in for the day, but staying in it.

The RV sites are located on pristine Deep Creek, which flows out of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. In fact, you can tube from the park directly to the RV site. Enjoy easy creek access for playing in the water, floating on a tube, or fishing.
We are just 1 mile from the National Park entrance, with excellent trails and waterfall views nearby—a nature lover’s paradise.
Less than one mile from historic downtown, you’ll find excellent dining and shopping. It’s also less than one mile to the Great Smoky Mountains Railway and Museum.
Just 30 minutes away is the Cherokee Indian Reservation and Harrah’s Casino.
Each site includes access to a picnic table, fire pit, and outdoor seating by the creek.
This is a private, family-owned property with just two RV sites, offering a very peaceful experience.
We cater to nature lovers ages 35 and up. All children must be supervised and respectful of the property.
Small pets may be considered if leashed and cleaned up after. There is a trash bin onsite for bagged pet waste.

Wanda's campsites are amazing! It was such a treat to wake up in the morning to Deep Creek running past the campsite. We even had the chance to tube it from Great Smoky Mountains National Park right to our camper. It's also very close to the shops and restaurants of Bryson City (we were able to walk).
Wanda and Bob are also an incredibly welcoming and generous hosts. We immediately felt at home.
The sites are very level and the hookups are new and well cared for.

We had a wonderful time camping. The host gave us all of the information we needed before the trip. We stayed at the lower site and it was perfect for our two larger tents and tables. We took the hike up to the summit and WOW what a wonderful view! We will definitely return!!

Weekend Trip to Salty Pines Hideaway
This site was amazing!! Included everything you would need for glamping including an outhouse, shower, drinking water, a kitchen, hammocks, WiFi, motion sensing lights, tiki torches, etc. Exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Your Toccoa River Cove!
As long as you know you are primitive camping (with an outhouse but no where to shower) then this is a great spot! On the deck there were various items including a couple chairs and a table. There were other items but I didn’t look through enough to remember what all was there. There was also a camp grill and a picnic table. The neighbors have dogs that barked a couple times but they were no bother to me. I did hear something rummaging outside my tent in the dark morning hours, I think it was a fox.
But if you’re good with primitive nature, stay here! Not a far drive to local hiking trails and morganton rec area. Thank you to the host for thorough directions!

Beautiful, serene campsite! We hiked up to the upper campsite but did not camp up there as we were taking my 5 month old on her first camping trip and it was definitely a steep climb but had beautiful views! The privy was very clean. The only thing that would be helpful is if there was a way to have a trash service or trashcan that could be used because we had to drive 30 minutes with our trash before there was a place to drop off. Would definitely stay here again!

First time camping and we brought our littles in tow! (4, 4, 7months) perfect site. There are areas around the water that are more beach like for kids to get in and play. We were on site 1 but would definitely suggest 2 or 6 with kids. Andrew checked on us through the stay and we had no issues.

We had such a beautiful night camping here, if we hadn’t had to get back on the road the next day I would’ve loved to stay another night or two. The hosts were super welcoming. I will remember the kitties, the chickens, the fireflies twinkling as the sun went down, and falling asleep to the sound of the river. It was so great to have access to a clean bathroom with a shower. If I ever find myself back in this area I will definitely stay here again!!! Thanks so much

Directions to the camping spot were great. Site was clean and clear with option for power and water hookup. There was a portapotty nearby. The fire pit worked great. We had fun just relaxing in our hammock.

We had a wonderful time on Lil Snowbird Farm! Andrew was very welcoming and greeted us with a map of the area and gave us some good recommendations.
The campsite was very comfortable, with the grill over the fire pit for cooking, a long bench, a picnic table and an additional table (very useful for preparing meals).
We will be recommending this campsite to anyone interested in camping in this area!

The campsite and entire surrounding area was very peaceful and quite. The host was very friendly and nice. Upon arrival he provided a pretty high quality map of the surrounding area and offered info as to where to get whatever you may need for supplies and where to get them. The campsites were clean and spaced far enough apart (with a wooded dividing area) that you cant really see to the next one. 10/10. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful space to camp and as others have said gorgeous views; sunrises and sunsets are stunning on the hill. Sound disperses very well here; even with other neighbors it was very peaceful. Be sure to follow the directions Hipcamp sends; my gps tried to take me somewhere else, but the written directions were clear.
