First off- Hipcamp calling my Hmmm-maybe grade about recommending it to others a “low rating” is just dumb. Everything doesn’t have to be superlative or be rated the best. Restaurants may not get Michelin stars, but that doesn’t make them bad or even unsuccessful. The purpose of my stay and the expectations I have are much different from the use cases and expectations of people I know. Was it high end? No, but I didn’t expect it to be. I wanted to have a place to tent camp before my gravel ride the next day and be close to my start point - check both those boxes . I wanted a bathroom (check) and showers would be a bonus. The fact that food was available was also a bonus. It was quiet and I went to sleep to the water sounds of the creek. The lady in the shop was nice and helpful. It’s the first time I’ve camped in the area and I didn’t research options for a nicer place or cheaper rate - it met my focused needs. Now that I know the area a little, I’d check out some other locations but I value going where the crowds don’t go. Would I book again? Maybe. Would I bring my wife in an rv? No - it’s not her speed. Hipcamp should use the same star rating system everyone else uses. That would have enabled me to give it 4 or 5 stars and provide some explanation in the comments for other users - instead of giving a “low” rating.

We had a great time! Loved reading and listening to the sound of the creek and warming up by the fire. Our host was so incredibly kind and helpful. Having the bath house so close was SO nice and the store as well! The only service that works out there is AT&T so be mindful if you’re needing to stay connected. The site was right down the road from some absolutely breathtaking views and gorgeous rapids. We can’t wait to come back!

We were switched to Site 1. What a beautiful property! The store is a huge convenience, bathhouse was great and we had plenty of room. The small creek lulled us to sleep each night.

We loved the creek, kids enjoyed playing in it. Store being on property was awesome for popsicles, snacks, ice, cold drinks! Excellent location for access to river.

Bridget is the best host! At 2 Creeks Campground, you will find a peaceful spot with a small stream running behind each tent site. On Saturday nights in the summer, they have live music on the back porch and offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner at an affordable price. Highly recommend this spot for a camping weekend on the Hiwassee- kind people, great atmosphere, and short drive to the launch site.

The tackle shop has good food (especially enjoyed the biscuit-sandwich options at breakfast) and the live band on Saturday night was a nice bonus. Enjoyed the visit, will return. Thanks again!

This is a really cool camping spot right on a creek. There is a shop on the property that sells fly fishing and camping supplies. They have food and great breakfast sandwiches made with fresh biscuits. We had to book late and everyone was great and accommodating. If you are riding the Smokey mountain 500, the route runs right in front of the camp site.
