My wife and I have visited George's incredible area maybe six times now. There's a reason for that! We were welcomed with two baby deer and their parents driving in and beautiful lush ferns everywhere and of course..... That incredible cool mineral pond to refresh in. George provides everything you would want.... of course except for food, to ensure you'll have a wonderful stay.

Your Toccoa River Cove!
Wonderful! The shelter definitely was a great plus during the rain, as were the outhouse and the wood shack. Foraging for mushrooms was by far the best surprise! 100% recommend for newbie campers. Will definitely return in the future!

Loved camping here! Was amazing and beautiful with lots of nice trails. George was very nice and made sure we settled in well. The well is also very clean with nice small creek sounds all night.

Our time on George’s land was quite pleasant and provided everything that we needed. George was a very responsive host and helped us when needed. The only thing and it’s not George fault or his property. There’s a noise ordinance after 10pm which is standard and completely understandable but we noticed Saturday night the neighbors were target practicing it was a bit noisy but they stopped shortly after. It didn’t worry us and I wouldn’t let it worry yourself, it wasn’t that close and not long either. The campsite is extremely close to local shops and restaurants even downtown blue ridge! Overall, I’ll definitely come back and recommend this to anyone I know. Affordable price too!

What a great campsite, it’s pretty much perfect! We will definitely be back; I was happy because we saw NO other people, my husband was happy bc he didn’t have to bury his poop lol (he likes an outhouse), and the dog absolutely loved running around in all the streams. The mosquitoes weren’t even bad!

Excellent campground!! The shelter was perfect for the bit of rain we got on our first night. Short drive to two trout fishing locations. Highly recommend this site for anyone looking to camp in the blue ridge area!!

Your Toccoa River Mountaintop!
Very nice layout! The shelter was awesome and it definitely helped cut down on the cold wind that blew through our first night. My son and I loved the area and chopping up some wood. Very close to some nice fishing spots. Host was very responsive! Will definitely be coming back.

This was my third stay at George’s place. It is absolutely fantastic. It is so serene! I look forward to staying there more each time I visit. Lots of hiking trails around the property and many more just a short drive. The campsite feels very remote, but you’re not far from town. There are many great restaurants in Blue Ridge. Also, I highly recommend the drive-in theater on the weekends!

We absolutely loved this spot!!! Tucked back and secluded, with easy to follow directions. We had a family of deer visiting each day, and the sound of the babbling stream and bird songs were beautiful to wake up to. George was very prompt and helpful with both hiking and firewood recommendations. We had rain for many of our booked days, and we were still so happy here. Definitely recommend!

Saw lots of deer. Enjoyed camping with our son and best friend. Had lots of laughs, hiked trails, and enjoyed being outdoors. The campsite was perfectly secluded and beautiful.

Wonderful awesome campsite. So much space for activities! George has built a beautiful shed area to hang out in. We didnt even end up setting up our tent, just slept in our sleeping bags in the shed. The neighbor had a really good deal with firewood. Would come back again!

We loved camping at George’s place! Likely from last campers, the kitchen area was stocked with items you may have forgotten! We were so happy the weather held up. Lovely place for a group and kids. Thanks George! We’ll be back for more great memories!

This is one of my favorite places I’ve ever camped at. This is my second trip there. The campsite is clean, surrounded by trees so you feel very secluded yet you are not too far from town.

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was our first time camping with our kids and they loved the property. Lots of woods to explore and having the covered structure and outhouse made their first time camping so much more comfortable. I hope to come back again!

The campsite was wonderful. It looks like great care went into the design and upkeep, and it was a really calm environment. Would love to come back later in fall when the leaves change more.

We absolutely loved this campsite! We have been to Ocoee multiple times and are absolutely thrilled to have found this gem. The site was clean and remote enough to feel like you’re alone in the woods, but close enough to grab breakfast if you want. The shed was perfect and had so many items there for use.
George responds quickly and was extremely helpful if you have any questions. We will definitely be coming back!

Your Toccoa River Mountaintop!
This was our second time camping on George's property and we had a great time. George has put a lot of thought into what to provide in this shelter to make it a comfortable and relaxing experience. Even in a two hour rain storm, we were perfectly dry as was our firewood, so we were able to build a fire when the rain ended. I highly recommend this property and hope to return.

We had a very good time staying here. We knew the weather was going to be rainy during our stay and the shelter made life so much easier. We didn’t even pitch a tent just an air mattress under the shelter and we stayed completely dry even in some pretty good storms that rolled through. George has all of the basics provided there which was a huge bonus. We didn’t even even have to unpack our camping chairs! The walk to camp is short, but I was a bit surprised that it was in a neighborhood, and we were close to the neighbors, but it was quiet besides the occasional passing car, and being greeted by the neighbors dog. He was friendly but extremely skittish. I was just sad he wouldn’t let us pet him lol. I thought it was in less of a residential area, but all in all it was a GREAT stay and I would definitely stay again especially if you know the weather is going to be less than desirable.

This is the best site ever. Especially if you like seclusion and have a dog that wants to be off leash and in the water. It's my new haven away from the city. Also, George is a helpful, friendly host. Will definitely be back. 4 wheel drive is best but I don't have it and I made it, with problem the first time and without the next. Get there before dark.

George has done some wonderful upgrades such as beautiful rock steps and slate pathways to the mineral pond. As always, we did not need to pack as much as we did because of his generosity and supplying a lot of your basic camping needs. Highly recommend this spot if you love a beautiful large relaxing peaceful quiet camping area. It's hard to find hosts and areas that could match Toccoa River Cove.
