Forested 15 acre lot with a beautiful grassy meadow, and a meandering stream with shallow spots to cool off in on a hot day. We have a meadow by the creek with first come first served tent spots. Pitch your tent anywhere you like and relax the day away. We also offer 6 fully stocked campers and 4 RV sites for rent. Please see each site for all the details! ALL RV/camper sites have FULL hookups with 20/30/50 amp, water and septic. There is fresh drinking water, on site garbage, picnic tables, firepits, firewood for purchase and a well-maintained porta-john. Porta John is only available March 1 - November 1. We are just minutes away from Nantahala Lake, Nantahala River, and the Appalachian Trail. Enjoy nearby white-water rafting, fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, kayaking, ziplines and more. If you're not up for cooking there is a local restaurant on the lake 5 minutes away, as well as the Nantahala Outdoor Center a quick 20-minute drive.

16) Adventure Basecamp 10 - Camper

This was a perfect first camping trip adventure for my kids with the comfort needed for the adults. The RV was spacious enough for all four of us and our pups and the view was spectacular! With the creek right near our site we were able to splash, hunt crawl dads, and lets the kids fish a little for fun. They are already begging to go back for longer! The hosts were super nice and helpful with any of our needs and can’t wait for next summer to go back again! Thank you so much for the adventures and memories!

Such a peaceful little getaway!! Nick and Tja ([tee-ya] embarrassed that I pronounced her name wrong! 🤦‍♀️) are phenomenal hosts!! Glamping/camping serene spot, nestled in the mountains, right next to a babbling brook/creek....😍 We stayed in Adventure Basecamp #8, a comfy little camper with everything you need! Toilet, shower, beds, fridge, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, stove, kitchen essentials, Blackstone, small firepit... it's there! They also offer fresh eggs, some camp essentials (firewood, starters, kindling, brews, and a few other things to get ya by, if you've not stopped at the market on the way in!) They greeted us at our spot, so friendly, welcoming, and personable!!) And, talk about prompt, with any questions or needs!! ❤️ Bestie and I took our 2 pups, and they loved it as much as we did. Giving total 5 Stars, and we will absolutely be visiting again in the near future! Thanks, Tja and Nick! 🥰

My family and I loved our stay here! The RV rental was very clean and had everything we needed. (The bathroom was exceptionally clean!) The primitive camping looked perfect as well. It’s not rough flat camping pads, but actual grass to set up your tent. And the creek that runs through the property is perfect for those of us with little ones. We will definitely come back with friends for a longer stay!

We had a rooftop tent and booking side #5 was perfect for us! The space was very large and the view of the valley, creek and mountains was absolutely stunning. Tja came to greet us in the mourning and was so friendly. The property was extremely clean and well-kept, you can tell the owners really take pride in their beautiful home & grounds. We very much enjoyed our stay here and will absolutely be back when in the area again!

This was my second time staying at Nick and Tja’s campers, and I have yet to be disappointed. I booked the weekend for my boyfriend’s birthday, and we spent the day down at Lake’s End Marina (only five minutes away!), where we rented kayaks and went fishing. They also offer a sunset UTV tour, which was equally fun. Being able to come back to the RV at the end of the day and have everything we needed to cook dinner and relax together was amazing. The Blackstone flat top and cooking tools were super convenient—we didn’t have to pack or bring our own! The grounds are extremely clean, and Nick and Tja are very responsive and helpful with any questions. The farm-fresh eggs they offer were a great addition to our breakfasts. We will definitely be staying here again—it truly feels like a home away from home!

Friendly host. Clear instructions. Very clean port-a-john available at the bottom of the hill. We stayed at spot 1. If you have a dog I’d probably recommend any site except for this once since this is the only one with direct view of the hosts yard and my dog really wanted to play with theirs 😂. But other than that a great little stop on our trip!

Very lovely campsite in a wonderful location. The creekside camping had creek sounds that made sleeping even better. It was also located in a dip in the topography so the tent wasn't blasted with sun immediately in the AM which was appreciated. Hosts were very responsive, friendly, and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is really cool.... nicest camping experience we've had in a long time. We stayed at primitive spot #6, right by the creek, which they have lined with solar lights that looked amazing at night. We ordered firewood and it was there when we got there, and they even have a list of of things (beer, wine, propane, basic food items, firewood, ice) you can order and they'll deliver it right to you! Was super close to prime fly fishing spots. Portajohn was very clean, firepits were cleared out.... whole place was very, very clean, organized and thought of everything.... will definitely return. Great experience - thank you!

We loved staying at Nick and Tja's beautiful campsite! They were the best hosts and were so kind. I slept better in a tent next to the creek bubbling away than I do normally! Wonderful location close enough to get to the National Park easily but far enough away to be in a peaceful spot away from all the tourists. We will definitely come again if we possibly can.

Staying here is amazing. No complaints. You can hear the stream down below by the tent sites when it’s quiet and it usually always is quiet. Camper was very nice and clean. Well worth the price. On clear nights you can clearly see the tail of the milky way galaxy when the seasons permit the viewing of the galaxy. The Number Stars that are visible to the naked eye are almost tripled compared to being in any town or city it can get pretty breathtaking. Sightings of black bear along the nearby white oak creek were frequent during the early morning and late evening hours so keep Yer eyes open while driving along the stream to the campground location as you may see some as well. (Be sure to follow all laws regarding bear or other wildlife as you are in their territory at that point) don’t keep trash outside of the camper and you shouldn’t experience a bear scare going outside early in the morning, although we did not see any bear at the campground itself during the two weekends we’ve stayed, they definitely frequent the area so just be cautious. Trout fishing in ALL of the nearby streams are great for fly fishing, insanely packed with trout they can even be found in streams that are as small as two ft wide and 5 inches deep it’s so nice. I will be staying again for sure as you can’t beat the rates and location.
