Get ready for an unforgettable adventure! Nestled just 4.5 miles from the beach, our slice of paradise offers you a peaceful view of the Socastee Creek, where endless possibilities await. Whether you're into bass fishing, kayaking, hiking, or simply basking by our cool fire pit, you're in for a treat on our sprawling 32 acres of property. And guess what? You can stay connected with super-fast internet access at the brick fire pit and picnic tables. Each campsite here comes with its very own private fire pit, making it perfect for cozy evenings under the stars. But that's not all; we've got an outdoor therapeutic shower with hot water to keep you refreshed and feeling fantastic. Need to answer nature's call? No worries, we've got you covered with both a toilet and a portable toilet, both with private access. Now, let's dive into a bit of local history. The Socastee Community, just about three miles from Peachtree Landing on the "Sawkestee" Creek and the Waccamaw River, has a fascinating past. It thrived during the economic boom driven by the naval stores industry in the early 1800s. Imagine a mercantile business and turpentine distillery in the Peachtree Landing area post-Civil War. In fact, a plat dated back to 1875 even showed two acres on Socastee Creek, suggesting a tar kiln was right here. Socastee was the place to be for trade, thanks to its strategic location, access to shipping via the Waccamaw River, and the abundant pine forests. But what about nearby attractions? You're in luck! We're just 5 minutes away from a treasure trove of places to explore. There's the Tanger Outlets, Market Common, Coastal Grand Mall, Broadway at the Beach, independent brewing companies, New South Brewery, The Boat House bar and Grill, and so much more! Yes, you heard right, it's all a mere 5 minutes away! This spot is the ultimate choice for both social distancing and still getting to experience the vibrant spirit of Myrtle Beach. And last but not least, your host, living right here on the property, comes with some adorable Siberian Huskies and a whopping 100 chickens. Got questions or need assistance with anything? Just ask! We're here to make your stay extraordinary.

Creek Camping almost Glamping!
River side and idyllic campground!
The tent spot is very flat and has green grass which makes a huge difference.Patrick is very easy and nice person to communicate with making sure we have easy access to the campground also is very secluded and safe. Our campground is was very close to the river in a idyllic spot and you feel like you are in the mountains even though we actually went for the day to the beach close by like 20 minutes away by car. Great outdoor shower and fire pit with table and branches . We definitely want to visit again!

We had a beautiful stay! It was close to the hustle and bustle while feeling like we’re still camping in the mountains!

Creek Camping almost Glamping!
Lovely and quiet location, clean and comfortable amenities, and to top it off Patrick was so friendly and accommodating - it was over 100 degrees that day and he offered up the climate controlled garage for my dog if needed, which was above and beyond even though we thankfully didn’t need to use it. Will look to stay here any time I’m in Myrtle Beach from now on.
