We enjoyed our stay. I think it is important people know what this spot is because it won't be right for everyone. First the location is good for accessing a number of areas and the area it self has great activities. Savanah is an easy drive and so is Hilton Head. We kayaked Ebenezer Creek which was awesome.
This site is on a boat launch. We saw a good amount of boat traffic. They often parked next to our camp and on one occasion a group of about 8 stood at the boat chatting for 2 hours. So its not secluded. Also there are 2 lights at the ramp that stay on all night. If you are in a tent this could be troublesome. There is also a rooster who takes his job very seriously. We liked him and laughed at how much he crows but some may not be as amused. We did not see any wifi networks that were open. We have Tmobile which only worked with an antenna and cell signal booster. There is a bathroom but its not for the picky.
For boating, kayaking, heading to Savannah or Hiltonhead this hipcamp is a reasonable price for what it offers. Being right on the water is nice.

Super beautiful spot. Some car/boat traffic with the boat landing being so close. But, totally worth it for the view. Wendy was great.

People hosting it were very nice but the campsite was literally on a boat ramp with people coming in and out all hours of the night Some of the boaters even thought it would be a good idea to shine a spotlight at our tent while we're trying to sleep And this happens several times throughout the night So if you're looking for privacy like we were this is not your place

Excellent spot along the River. Loved having the fire pit right along the water. Although there is the occasional boater putting their boat in at the ramp, it was otherwise quiet and would definitely come back again!

A beautiful spot on the Savannah River with an acre of land for our little dog to run free! We parked our 19' trailer right at the water's edge with sunset and sunrise views along the river. (There's a 15-amp outlet there, but if you need more there's a 50-amp outlet a bit further up the hill.)
Suggest stopping down near the boat ramp and walking up the hill to Wendy's white house to check in as there's no place to turn around up there.

Enjoy the scenic view of the river during the day & the restful sounds of the flowing current as well as fish jumping through the night.
The camp host is extremely accommodating.

Good location right on the river.
Secluded enough, but also not too far from conveniences like stores, etc.
The hosts are friendly people.
Cell phone service was fine for me.

Wendy’s place was awesome. We took the kayaks out on the creek which floats us back to the camp. We had two geese come visit each day. We enjoyed being right on the river. Town was close when needed.
