The property features a 1 1/2 acre pond stocked with catfish and bream and has a nice little dock with a table and chairs to sit and enjoy the water. There are animals! I have a beloved Scottish Highland cow named Genia and she is joined with two mini bulls and two mini cows. Various numbers of Nigerian Dwarf goats join them in the pasture. There are also a few chickens. Small garden beds and a fruit orchard are on the property and I usually have at least a half dozen projects of one sort or another going on. Several acres are wooded and there is ample space for a nature trail that I try to keep maintained. Several of the usual types wildlife can be seen. Are you an artist or a writer? This is a great place for comtemplation and inspiration. I myself have 40 years experience as an art teacher and professor. If you would like to have a mini workshop, let me help. Water is available not far from the campsites. There is also a portable pop up potty/shower tent (with bucket and seat) available.

Our 501(c)(3) Non-Profit campsite has soft opening under way! This means we don't have many frills, but we are by far the closest RV site to central Atlanta, and the only one on MARTA public transit (right outside the gate). We are a rare gem in this city. One of the last areas that have been allowed to return to nature after being farmed until the 1960s. We are surrounded by 100s of acres of parkland, and yet are only 5 minutes drive from almost everything you will need. You will see the hand cut terraces put in by the farm workers and then the forest has spent the last 50 years taking it back. Still lots of old growth trees around though. The county just purchased/swapped 50 more acres to go with the hundreds more under it's watch. There is a 14 mile concrete trail that runs behind the property and all the way out along the south river. Quite the hike or bike if you fancy a good walk. There is a 18 hole golf course, sports fields, public pool and YMCA type community center all along the trail and walking distance from the campsite. We are a 501c3 non-profit church that is still in the early days of it's mission. Your donation to our site helps fund our mission and keeps the lights on. We are massively focussed on permaculture as the only sustainable way of life and rapidly moving towards being totally carbon neutral. You will be up close on our early days and see our Solar Roof Cabin (a total of 300 panels and 70kW output when completed). We make a lot of our infrastructure from windfallen and site development trees that are cut and shaped on our own electric sawmill. Much of the rest of the renovations are done using upcycled and donated materials. We are working towards: Total energy and water independence Total structural material independence Food independence via aquaponic farming Providing solar powered refrigerated space to local food distros Providing local kids (and adults) access to training on permaculture and living with minimal impact on the planet. Teaching people so they can teach others and pay it forward. Come support our mission by staying with us. Help out with your building or farming or engineering skills if you like. Naturally tax deductible financial donations are always helpful and help speed our progress.

I wouldn't drink from the well but it could be used for other things. Very safe quiet area. Its just a mini hobby farm but you're more than welcome to check out the chickens and my pig Peppa. 20 acres, mostly wooded, for your private camping escape in a quiet, rural setting. The level site is beside a charming, old stone house on about 2 cleared acres. Full RV hookups: city water, 30 amp & 50 amp electric, and sewer are beside the vacant stone house. Trash pickup is provided. Nice "yard" area for the RV. The RV space is very close to level. This creek property was probably used by the Creek and then the Cherokee as a campsite because of the abundant water and wild life. Later is was farm land and in the 1920's had approximately fifty mules working the land. The Old barn and blacksmith shop are still here. In 1977 the government planned to put a four lane toll road through here but was stopped by the oil embargo which caused the right of way to be auctioned. We were able to buy 200 acres for a small amount of money and have been raising cattle and camping on it every since that time. As a Scout Master I have been using this site for camping for the past 15 years. Time to let others enjoy. Learn more about this land: Pitch your tent or hammock in a grove of hardwood trees in a nice meadow on the banks of Lake Creek with old timey swimming hole. It is about 8 feet deep in center going to about 4' at sides and 20 feet long. Big stone grill is provided as well as large fire pit. Kindling and firewood is provided. ten minute walk to the main house for potable water and other needs.  37 acre farm with hills and a wide variety of wildlife and plants to inspect. Camp is in rural area couple hundred yards off county road but secluded. Plenty of deer, turkey, geese, wild ducks, beaver and other wild life in the area. A secondary campsite is provided down the creek with area for tent near creek. Fire pit and firewood is provided.

We own a small farm on 64 total acres with around 59 wooded. We have 4 primitive camping sites with lots of woods, wildlife, and two small creeks. We are even located on a short dirt road to give you that country feel. All of our sites are spread out from one another and you will feel secluded in the woods with nature. On our farm are free range chickens, peacocks, goats and a donkey in a pasture, turkeys (wild and domesticated), honeybees (in the field), and a few outdoor cats. We enjoy our animals and nature. We want to share this experience with others so we have decided to rent a few camping spots that we have shared over the years with our children. Enjoy the peaceful nights and the sounds of nature and star lit skies. In the daytime check out our farm animals, walk the trails, or explore the woods. Guest are welcome to pet and feet the animals if they choose. We are conveniently located less than two miles from a Dollar General, three miles from several restaurants right of I75, 8 miles to nearest Walmart, under 20 minutes to High Falls State Park, under 25 minutes to Dauset Trails Nature Center, and under 30 minutes to Indian Springs State Park. It is 20.54 acres peacefully located between big land owners on each side, and a creek that runs through the middle that separates north from south pieces. Our trails are groomed and some just deer worn. We have one camp site that is rural and rustic. There is a bucket for the restroom and antique, old white kitchen sink for hand washing just outside it. There is no running water yet, but working on getting a water reservoir out there asap. No electricity yet a single power cord could be run for extra $10.00 for your visit. There is a fire pit close to the tent spot on, “Skip’s Campsite”. Another camp site” Aqua-Fine-A” that has a walk in creek access, and you have to cross the creek to get to that one. It is farther away from “Skip’s bathroom access. It has a more established flag stone fire pit. It is our original primitive sight. There is no water reservoir or possibility of electricity at “Aqua-Fine-A” campsite. Everything must be packed in and out on foot. Both sights require a hike to campsites on foot with uneven rooted trails. {You are welcome to use our well loved red wheelbarrow to haul items in}. There is access to a bigger fire pit “M & M fire pit”, and a propane grill option (this is first come first serve/sharing spot). More campsites developing over time and there is a massage practitioner on site if you are looking for the whole experience (29 years experience in healing modalities and shamanic blood line). If you are looking to experience nature cabin style then, “The Minor Escape” is for you. This has a full refrigerator, full stand up filtered water shower, kitchen sink, separate master, two bedroom lofts with ladder access, kitchen sink, ceiling fans, window a/c units for summer and space heaters for winter (Eden pure heater that shows fireplace flames). Our family loves this land and there is always new areas being cultivated in various spots. You will see us out there either with our hobby farm of animals, gardening or building a new area. I am a teacher, guide, artist, and healer. This land is sacred and magical. It is used to heal, restore, inspire and rejuvenate many locally and internationally.

We also grow figs, herbs garlic and veggies. Please note this is an RV site only no tent camping and no latrine tents allowed. We also have a one dog policy. Thank you for looking at our property.

I have 2 large fields that rarely get used so I thought it would be fun to let others use them. I don't have any hookups but 1 field has a well on it. I wouldn't drink from the well but it could be used for other things. Very safe quiet area. Its just a mini hobby farm but you're more than welcome to check out the chickens and my pig Peppa. If the chickens are laying good I will get you some fresh eggs.

Many great spaces for tent camping and hiking. Bring your camp chairs to sit around the small firepit (just a circle of rocks, really). The property is very dark at night so if you arrive after dark, you will want to have a good flashlight. Pets are allowed. Please pick up after your dog(s). Near FD Roosevelt State Park (15 min drive) and Callaway Gardens (20 minute drive). There is an additional set of full RV hookups available but it will not be occupied unless both sites are rented as a bundle. Two RVs can park and hookup, one behind the other, in the long driveway. Learn more about this land: Private, secluded campsites on 20 acre property. Full hookups include city water, 50/30 amp electric, sewer, and trash pickup on dirt/gravel driveway that can accommodate 40+ foot diesel pusher or smaller rigs. The site is beside a vacant stone house with well kept yard and 18 acres of natural wooded property. Easily accessible on a paved road. Covered parking for your tow vehicle. There are 2 sites available. The 2nd site is available only as an add-on to rental of this site. 20 minutes from Pine Mountain GA and Callaway Gardens, 30 minutes from Columbus, GA, 15 minutes from FDR State Park, 15 Minutes from Warm Springs, GA and the Little White House, close to Flint River.
