A wonderful and quiet place to stay. Joe and his wife are super nice and welcoming. Their dog, Kirby is the second best dog named Kirby! Definitely recommend and we will be back!
A wonderful and peaceful place to stay with a delightful host.
What a wonderful spot on the marsh lands! Just beautiful. Easy drive to St. Marys, which is a neat old town with some rich history. Joe is a fantastic host, very helpful, but not intrusive. I enjoyed our talks, just a great guy. Will be back sometime.
We stayed two nights here and enjoyed it very much. Joe was welcoming and made sure we had access to whatever we needed. The location along the salt marsh was beautiful and we were able to enjoy the day biking around the local community. Saw dolphins near the public boat ramp. Joe also made a fire on our second night which we all enjoyed. The spot was easy to access and nice and flat and very quiet. We drive a 20ft. Campervan.
We thourally enjoyed our stay with Joe. He has a beautiful property and Joe was so hospitable by making sure we had whatever we needed and even stood ready to roll out the sisal carpet by our sliding door when we pulled in. He started a campfire on the second night which was so unexpected and so appreciated. We enjoyed two relaxing nights and enjoyed riding our bikes around the surrounding community. We would definitely recommend.

Joe is an outstanding host. The site was exactly what I needed and as advertised. The area is lovely, private and safe. Joe prepared the firewood and all I had to do was light it—excellent service. I highly recommend!
Nice quiet spot to spend the night. Joe greeted us and offered any assistance we may have needed. I would stay here again. Get there early so you can watch the sun set.
I can’t say enough great things about Joe’s place. Hosts were extremely welcoming and kind, had lots of good recommendations and we really enjoyed staying here. It’s really nice to meet other people who are sober and kind! 10/10 we will definitely stay here again if it’s en route!
Joe's land is very nice. The 50-amp, level RV site is next to his house overlooking the wetlands. A small path leads to the end of the wetlands and even has a small tireswing. It's in a beautiful neighborhood with few lights so it's nice and dark at night. Joe was very cordial. We would return if in the area again.

I loved Joe's property. it was so relaxing to go out every morning and sit around the fire pit and drink my coffee and look out at the beautiful marsh. One night after the rain I really enjoyed listening to all the nature. Joe just goes about his business caring for his property and if you're up for a conversation, he's great to talk to. I had many wonderful conversations with him and he taught me a lot about RVing. I am a first time RV owner and towing a vehicle. He even made sure that I had hooked everything up correctly to tow, and then walked to the gate to make sure that it opened for me when it was time to leave. He is very accommodating and very knowledgeable about places to eat and things to do in the vicinity. It is so much better than staying at a campground, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and felt 100% safe on his property! My dog lovesd the visit as well🐾❣️

My hosts were very gracious and the camp sites are on a beautiful, quiet, and peaceful property in delightful area.

Our overnight stay in our camper van with our two dogs was perfect! Joe was a very hospitable and friendly host— he mowed the lawn for our dogs, provided us firewood, and the area was very quiet. We will absolutely stay again!
Joe was very friendly. Allowed us to pull up right in his driveway. Had great electric hookup like we would get in a campground and also had water. Joe was very easy to coordinate with and was very flexible. This is a great stop if you are going to see Jekyll Island.
