Most of the roads are accessible in any small car, but some roads require 4x4 (they're marked with a sign). We have a bath house with toilets, showers, and sinks and even offer hot water! Our well and cabins are all solar-powered as we are not on the electric grid. The county just purchased/swapped 50 more acres to go with the hundreds more under it's watch. You will be up close on our early days and see our Solar Roof Cabin (a total of 300 panels and 70kW output when completed). Fantastic little campground with extremely helpful hosts. Here’s what I liked about it. There was lighting, but not too much. Sites were roomy with a small fire pit, picnic tables, and a charcoal grill. The individual bathrooms were clean, warm and convenient. A hot shower was great to get after a long day on the road. It was quiet with a few outdoor country sounds, like owls, a dog in the distance and a rooster at sunup. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

Bill & Laura's hospitality was amazing! They made every effort to help us find a great spot right on the lake! Moved and leveled the picnic table while we enjoyed conversation. Communication details were very detail and a great help. The views were beautiful and serene, we even had access to a gazebo next to our camp. We slept in our tent and felt very safe. We caught two nice size catfish just before leaving which was great! I can't say enough about this private camp site, except we will be back again soon.

We were easily able to park our campervan and trailer here!

The swing pictured in the listing was broken when we arrived which was a disappointment for our kiddos but we will definitely be back for more camping trips and maybe it’ll be fixed then! The creek was a wonderful spot to have coffee with the large rocks for sitting!

We had amazing time tent camping here. We got to meet Steve and April as they brought wood to our campsite when we first arrived and they were very kind and answered all our questions. They told us all about the budding vineyard visible from the campsites and how it will soon support a winery that will be opening next year. We were lucky enough to be able to try a few of their wines and they were all delicious. We'll definitely be coming to visit the winery once it opens up! The camp sites were all well mentioned and felt safe and secluded. There was plenty of firewood available to purchase and the porta potty was clean and centrally located. My wife and I explored the property a bit with our dog and it was very nice. The sunset view of the marsh at the far edge of the property was absolutely gorgeous and it was really cool to be able to walk around the vineyard and check out that area of the campsite. We will definitely be coming back to camp here regularly!

It was perfect for my traveling needs. I spent majority of my time during the day hiking in GA/TN so it’s perfect to return to in the late afternoon to relax. The Bath House was very clean and the dogs that roam the property are very friendly. The trains were a bit loud and busy during the night, but it is manageable to sleep through if you’re good at tuning it out. Overall, it’s great for a place to set up camp for the night and wake up early to continue a drive or to hit the trails.

We own a small farm on 64 total acres with around 59 wooded. We have 4 primitive camping sites with lots of woods, wildlife, and two small creeks. We are even located on a short dirt road to give you that country feel. All of our sites are spread out from one another and you will feel secluded in the woods with nature. On our farm are free range chickens, peacocks, goats and a donkey in a pasture, turkeys (wild and domesticated), honeybees (in the field), and a few outdoor cats. We enjoy our animals and nature. We want to share this experience with others so we have decided to rent a few camping spots that we have shared over the years with our children. Enjoy the peaceful nights and the sounds of nature and star lit skies. In the daytime check out our farm animals, walk the trails, or explore the woods.
