Great spot in the woods minutes from downtown Helen and stores. Site was kept clean and very peaceful. Host communication was on point!

We absolutely had a blast a loved frogs land and will definitely be returning many more times we ended up at upper site 2 it was amazing and total full disclosure we took two Harley Davidson motorcycles to the site no problems

First family camping trip was a success! Location was easy to find and kids loved it. Felt very private for our kids to run around and enough distance between campsites to not worry about noise bothering others (at least I hope we didn't). Thanks again for everything!

Excellent Communication timing!! Never had to wait to hear from the host . The site was spacious, fit 3 cars and tents easily, secluded, covered, the pond was adorable. Will be back 👍🏻

We loved tent camping on Frog’s lower site! Frog was a great communicator and the property was exactly as described and pictured. Frog recommended driving a 4WD vehicle if we were staying at the lower site, and I agree! It was a short rugged drive but well worth it!
We loved that there was electricity to the site. We are normally very basic campers but it was HOT so having a small fan in the tent was a lifesaver.
We will be back for sure!

Tent camping at lower site was great. Short walk to the pond, decent room to hang out and you’re not right on top of other sites like most traditional camp grounds. We stayed for 3 nights and had a great time.

Had a great time camping on Frog's land! Frog was super great at communicating and the site is an awesome home base for Helen visitors & more.
Some PROS:
-The proximity to Helen (15-18 minutes driving) was great. We made multiple trips to town and the drive always felt quick. The distance afforded us the sense of being private and "out there" which was nice!
-The sites themselves are large and come equipped with a fire pit, chairs, a table, chimineas (for windy nights), power outlets, water spigot, and even a couple of rustic, simple fishing rods, for pond visitors.
-The pond is a great feature! Apparently there's a canoe/boat you can ask about, but we didn't have time for it! We did spend a few minutes sitting on the pond-side chairs.
-The scenery is pristine! You're really camping in the woods here.
Some CONS (I wouldn't call these cons necessarily, more like considerations):
-As Frog rightfully mentions, the pull in down to the lower site is a bit bumpy. Had no problem in my Subaru Outback, but took it slowly. Sedans may not want to make the trip, but parking at the top of the pull in and hauling stuff down wouldn't be bad at all - it's like a 30 second walk!
-A bit of noise from neighboring cabin visitors, especially when they visited the pond. But the trees are a great sound barrier and we barely heard them.
-Outhouse is being repaired/renovated! Having a solid bathroom option would be a great addition - might be smart to ask about updates on this if important!

We tent camped at one of the sites on Frog’s land and it was so peaceful. An easy drive to Helen and Mt. Yonah. Would recommend if you’re looking for a get away

Quiet, secluded campsite. Level site once you maneuver yourself into it. We have an 18ft teardrop and a F150 and we had to do about 100 maneuvers to get ourselves into the spot. But once we did everything was fine. So maybe this spot is best for just tent camping and smaller than 18ft trailers. We had rainy weather but we still got out and explored Cleveland and hiked Mt Yonah. Good times! Thank you for having us!

Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to get away for a quiet weekend! Very secluded and couldn’t see any other campers from our site. Host was very helpful and didn’t bug us any!!

Scott is a great host. His land is really beautiful. Tons of wildlife and a full pond with a functioning row boat. He is super knowledgeable of the surrounding area, so for any Georgia new timers or current Georgia residents this is the place to go!

Tent camped with our 3 kids, 3 dogs with an 8 person and 4 person tent and had enough room. Lower camp is down the hill so you have good space between the 2 sites. Water pump is not on the site but just past the campsite pull in but easily accessible. Plenty of trees for hammocks. Bring a portable toilet. All in all we had a great time and would definitely stay again. Yonah Mtn vineyard is 5-10 min away and Cleveland is round about 15 min. Pond was better for bobber fishing because there are a lot of trees down so lures get snagged easily if you are fishing with children

This place has the nice laid back feel. So quiet. Great week and had zero bugs. I'm guessing because of the cool nights. Close to Helen and Oktoberfest being celebrated all month long. We hit 2 trails a day and saw several waterfalls. I would definitely go back here & highly recommend. Thank you for your help & recommendations.

Great campsite near Helen. Fishing pond was a short walk from the campsite. Chattahoochee River is a few minute drive. Helen is about 20 minutes away. Host was very nice and welcoming. We had a great time!
