Site 1 - Paulk Park Tent Camping by Pond
Harassed, rude, uncomfortable!
My husband and I were about to shower and were stopped by someone doing laundry that said they lived close and continued to talk about people stealing his laundry, we finally said we needed to shower, while in the shower the man knocked two different times and both time’s never said anything and walked away! As we’re leaving the showers the man again approached us asking why we were there and if we had permission, he told us he ran the place but seemed very suspicious and as I told him we had a reservation for site 1, he asked us what does that mean bc he didn’t know what the sites meant, which obviously told us he didn’t run the place!! He left and then another man came back and went to the showers and looked around, we were in our truck at site 1 and the second man never approached us or asked anything, we just seen him on his phone as he was leaving!! We felt harassed, felt we were being called thieves, like we didn’t have a reservation, very unprofessional and rude!! No guest should be treated this way, bothered while showering or made to feel uncomfortable!!

Site 6 - Paulk Park Tent Camping by Pond
Very good place to be
It was a nice location, the tent place was well maintained. Easy setup, easy stay - although there were a couple of (local?) people at night present in the area.
Restrooms and showers were good, the area is nice.

Truly peaceful Paulk’s Pond

RV Site 7 - Paulk Park RV Park
Lots of beautiful green grass which the dogs love to run in. However, beware, there are numerous red ant mounds hiding in the grass. Good for a one night stay, though.
