Lizardsniffer is a working horse farm with a variety of rental cabins and RV slips. We DO allow tent camping. Each RV slip has water, septic, 50 amp service and Wifi. An Amenities Cabin is provided for use by all RV site guests. The cabin includes a full-sized washer/dryer, a full bathroom with bidet, and an oversized jacuzzi tub. Guests must sign-up for a 4-hour timeslot. The cabin is available for use between the hours of 8am-8pm. Many of our RV sites feature private fenced paddocks for people bringing their horses or dogs. Horse visitors require all current paperwork (Coggins, etc.). Dog visitors must be social and friendly and thus are allowed to explore the farm with their owners off-leash if desired. The property includes miles of trails for hiking, biking, or horseback riding. Bring your own horse or experienced riders may be able to ride one of ours (subject to weight/experience matching with a horse). There is a small private stocked lake open to all guests of Lizardsniffer for fishing and swimming. Weekend Trip to River Ranch @ Summerville, GA

I really really enjoyed tent camping at River Ranch! The land is beautiful. There are a few trails that you can walk along the river and see the wildlife. Doni and Laiza ,were very responsive to any questions that I had during my stay and made suggestions on where to walk and what to look out for as far as wildlife. My experience was a 10 out of 10! I will definitely be back soon.

We took our family of four in a 36’ RV to Lizardsniffer last week and had the time of our lives. We are grateful that Oar 4 ended up being a pull-through site. The kids went swimming and kayaking while we used the paddle boats on the lake. We got such good rest during our visit and enjoyed the dark skies for watching the meteor shower! Ask Lisa to meet the horses and you will not be disappointed. We will certainly be back!

We loved this campsite and so did our dogs! It’s small and quiet. This is definitely the spot we’re staying at whenever we come through Savannah! Pros: - small, quiet - shaded - 25 min from downtown Savannah (awesome nightlife and food) - pet friendly Cons: - The laundry is $3 w a card reader for the both the washer and dryer. And it’s not super big either. To do 2 people’s worth of towels, sheets, and clothes, it took 4 loads. So total it was about $24 for one week of laundry. - check out policy is a little crazy, but if you can make it out by 11am on the dot then you’re ok

this site is amazing and exactly as advertised. we stayed 2 nights with our 3 boys (mini schnauzers) and enjoyed every second. it was too hot to be outside for too long but in the fall this would be even more ideal. great lake view, peaceful and away from all noise except nature. look forward to visiting again.

Good value for quick overnight. Easy in and out....pretty level and not many people around. The bad: lots of ants. Some holes in the grass. I fell twice. The bathroom needs cleaned (not filthy but needs attention) and there was no AC.

Beautifully peaceful location! If you’re looking for a peaceful weekend with a gorgeous view, boat rentals and quality fishing look no further! The owners were super nice and very helpful! The other campers and day fishers there were really kind and super respectful of each other! They have electrical hookups for rv/camper use and a clean bath house for use! I truly enjoyed my weekend and 10/10 will definitely be going back often!

Quiet campsite in the country. Was greeted by Michael shortly after arrival. He was very welcoming and provided a quick overview of the utilities and property layout. Water access is about 75 yards away. There is one neighboring campsite. Area was pet friendly. Overall a great stay and was a quiet, relaxing escape. Would highly recommend to others.

My wife Sue and I have really come to liking and recognize Smith Creek as one of our favorite sites. This go around there were bats flying within the feet of our heads and tonight of course the ducks we're always heart warming. The Landscaping at the edge of the pond was in full bloom and of course we love that too. Yes we shall return again and again and again.

This was a repeat visit for us, but as always we loved this campsite. Super private, full hook ups and quiet at night what more could you ask for. Peter is great to talk with and is always helpful if you need anything. Already planning another visit in the fall, might just need to make this an annual trip.
