Lula Disc House

Host was very nice. I would just recommend if you’re primitive camping then you should bring a rake or leaf blower so you aren’t putting your tent down on sticks and leaves. It was a nice spot. The clubhouse and bathrooms were clean.

Site #6- Deluxe Safari Tent

It is a great property to camp. disc golf courses are really good. you can camp-play repeat. Lula is the best place to be. only thing that can be improved is a little mowing at the campsite. I recommend this area for camping as it is safer than other camping sites.

Lula Disc House was great. This was our first experience with Timberline Glamping, and we will be doing this a lot more. The host, Corbin, was really good. We made arrangements well ahead of time, and he responded to online inquiries in a reasonable amount of time. The camping is co-located with an active disc golf course and nearby to the Carter State Park, perhaps the only state park on Lake Lanier. Check in was great. We got in when the club house was closed, but instructions for checking in were posted and easy to follow. We got text response and some good tips within a few minutes and we were already at our site which was clean and obviously well prepped for our stay. We cooked meals on site, and we had our two pugs with us. We enjoyed nice walks in the wooded camping area. Everyone had some great family time as our two adult children joined us. In addition to visiting the state park, we visited a winery a short drive away near Mount Yonah. The sites we saw were amazing. I think it was unusually hot for Labor Day, so having the A/C in the tent was sweet. Got some great sleep! So we saw some folks including several kind disc golfers, but by and large we just enjoyed some peaceful family time.

We loved tent glamping. The beds were nice. The ac was great. There was the disc golf course right outside the tent! The space was wooded and felt private even though there are other campsites. We will definitely stay again of in the area.

The camp trip was great! A few suggestions, the pro shop was closed all day Saturday with lots of golfers wanting to shop. Also most another round stores that ive been to have a small tap room, lula doesn't the owner said its a legal issue. Maybe they need some assistance! We were wanting to try ghe signature floating mermaid hole and all the dics were floating in thd pond. Also no camp host, had to get our own fire wood and the bath house could use a good cleaning! Overall a fun place with 2 well maintained courses!

Camp site 2 sits far enough away from the road next to a hill for some privacy. The disc golf courses are amazing and it was nice to be able to relax at the end of a long day. Everyone we encountered was very friendly. Bathrooms are a decent walk but very nice and clean.

Tent camping at Lula is the way to go to enjoy multiple rounds of disc golf. Our camp site was far away from the Glamping tents, it was good to be away from the crowd. Camp site very clean, bo trash or debris. Safe property to camp on.

Red Hawk Ridge 2

We had an awesome time at Lula Disk House! We opted to tent camp instead of glamping and we loved the primititive area where we set up! I have never stayed somewhere so peaceful and private. The bathrooms were beautiful and well stocked, and there was a sweet dog who seems too live there who found us a few times. We absolutely loved the OG Lula course and cannot wait to return to try Red Hawk Ridge. This site is within driving distance of Tallulah gorge and Helen if you are up for the journey! We have already recommended this place to all the disk golfers we know and will definitely be back!

Our group of 9 adults, 2 dogs, and a 4 month old baby had a great time tent camping in the community site. The bathrooms were very nice and conveniently located. All the staff were top notch and the disc golf was the cherry on top. Thanks Corbin, we will be back!

Great camping for families!

We had a blast at this camping spot, what a great hidden gem! A great playground and slack line, hot tub, and clean bathrooms made it a perfect quick trip out of the city with our kiddo. Corbin was super friendly and hospitable, helped us out with extra firewood, and introduced our kiddo to a local pro disc golfer which made her feel really special 🥰 It’s clear he wants visitors to have a great time out there. Can’t wait to come back with a group of friends soon!

Perfect for a few nights out, I chose a pretty bad time to do it but Corbin was accommodating and very generous. Haven’t even packed up yet and have already recommended this site to several friends who enjoy disc golf and or camping.

The facility is very nice overall and the glamping area, club house and bathrooms are all very nice and well maintained. The primitive camping area is far from it... 2 ragged picnic tables. No trash cans. Not mowed or picked up. And on the other side of the lot from the bathroom. So while I would recommend it for the glamping area and the golf... I wouldn't recommend it for the primitive camping area. Now, They did mention some possible upgrades in the future. But not the way it is today.

very nice facility Corbin (and his mom) were very friendly as were the pups. we stayed in the primitive camping area. and while the glamping area, bath house, club house and playground areas are all very well maintained. The primitive area .... not so much. it is also a good 5/8 min. walk across the lot. and there is a good probability of cows at the fence line in the morning. we did not play golf or walk the course, but it is a very nice property for sure. The glamping / golfing side, I would very much recommend, if that's your style. Corbin did mention some posable additions to the primitive area, But there are other options on hip camps in the area for the time being.
