When the "blue roof cottage by the tracks" (yes, it used to have a unique blue roof) hit the market in early 2021, we knew it had to be ours! Our Avion has a cozy queen & 2 twin beds, a fully functional kitchen with cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, and all the housewares. A flushing toilet and a hot shower. The Avion is situated on our property, but you have full privacy in the area. You can chillax on the patio and read a book, or sit by a propane fire pit and enjoy a nice glass of wine or your favorite Bourbon!

There was a lot of room and privacy for each site. We walked around and to see the river. I noticed one campground with canoes, so some must be enjoying the river.
Internet connection is sketchy, but we were able to stream using my phone as a hotspot.

Nice location on the St. Marys river. If you are tent camping, it's probably wise to check if the nearby mudbog pit (Soggy Bottom) is planning an event, otherwise noise could be an issue. Also, the gravel drive is pretty steep. Be careful to get a rolling start when exiting the gate

Two campgrounds, with fire ring, picnic table, potable water, and a mixture of 30 and 50-amp electric hook-ups, makes a difficult choice. The Amelia River Campground offers 42 campsites and amazing river views. The Atlantic Beach Campground has 21 RV and six tent-only sites surrounded by white sand dunes.
As a registered camper, you can use the dump station along with the restrooms with showers and laundry facilities. If your pet is well-behaved, they are welcome at all the campgrounds.
