This is such a great gulf front lot. It's pretty level with small gravel lining the driveway. Nice little raised deck and a charcoal grill available for your use. We had no problem pulling in with our Airstream and getting our truck out of the way for use. The path to the gulf is clear and the beach is amazing! Double bag your garbage or place in the bed of your truck until you leave as there's at least one bobcat tipping the trash can over to get to the contents. Would love to go back sometime.

This was a great spot, close to everything the world’s most beautiful beaches has to offer, yet far enough away to have a nice peaceful rest. Brian was very kind and quick to respond to any questions that we had. Host provided and nice little book with everything you needed to know about the property as well as restaurant recommendations along with menus. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!

I hate to give away a gem like this, but it is truly a great spot with no headache, and the crucial amenities such as power, water, and clean bath house with warm water. The view is 🤌🏼. Bring some bug spray and some firewood and you're gonna LOVE it.

Weekend Trip to Wildcat Creek Educational Ctr

We had a wonderful time! Mr. Bill offered us several spots to pitch our tent and we chose right next to the creek so we could hear the water through the night. And it was fabulous. We heard Chuck-Wills-Widows singing along with the creek cooing while we relaxed by the fire. It was a short walk to the bathroom but it was worth it. Mr. Bill was friendly but respectful of our time and space. He offered us a tour and coffee and we were happy to hang out and learn from him. His property is eclectic but for conservationists like us it is a delight! We will visit again for sure. I would recommend bringing extra lights to hang on the trees, we had a few and it was super helpful finding our way in the dark.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! Location was great. Laura and husband were excellent hosts. Outdoor shower and hot tub were great amenities. The animals were such an added bonus. My kids loved interacting with them. They shared some farm fresh eggs, treats to feed to the goats, and allowed us to borrow a filet knife for fish my son caught. Answered questions quickly and attended to anything we needed. We felt welcome and safe. Couldn’t recommend this spot more highly!

This is our fourth year visiting The Bay Getaway. Our grandchildren love coming each year to kayak, catch little crabs in the shallows, climb up onto the treehouse, and run and play on the huge lawn. We love the birdwatching, the beautiful sunsets, the quiet, and the privacy of this spot to give us a safe environment for visiting with our grandkids. Love this place!

Weekend Trip to Sugar White Sand - St. Joe Beach

Great spot away from the hustle bustle but yet close enough to the beach. Wayne was very accommodating and welcoming. Pet friendly. Campsite offers a fire pit, a picnic table, and an outdoor shower. If there was anything negative to say, it would be that I didn’t really like that. The RV pad is sand. Wayne has pieces of plywood out to step on and also a rug where your door opens, but it still tracks in pretty badly. Other than that, everything was perfect. we will definitely return if we are in the area.

Laura and her husband were very accommodating and friendly during our 4 night stay! Their compound is centrally located in PCB and just a short walk or bike to the beach. Lots of restaurants very close also! We enjoyed observing their goats, chickens, ducks, and newborn baby goat in their backyard pen. You’ll find features here that you won’t get at a state park like the onsite hot tub! We will definitely book with them again in the future!!

When accessing our property by vehicle, be prepared to drive 17 miles off of highway 79 with a 4 mile portion of that being a dirt road. We can not guarantee the condition of the dirt road portion of your drive for your stay, however the dirt road is graded weekly. Enjoy the seclusion of this area while still being in close proximity to Panama City Beach and 30A. Pier Park in Panama City Beach is where you can find the nearest grocery stores, shopping and restaurants in a 35-40 min drive from the home. Once you are here, its likely you will want to stay and not leave though so bring plenty of good meals to cook and enjoy! Being relative newbies to RVing, we wanted something private but also wanted a beach front vacation without spending 5K for a house. So, we decided to start searching. Turns out, there isn't a whole lot of RV hookup spots right on the beach. But, we ran across this lovely privately owned gulf front lot on Cape San Blas in Florida and stayed for a week that January. We loved it so much we tried to book it again in May of that year, but it was of course booked the entire month. So, we booked another spot and headed to the cape in May anyway. We wanted to see our favorite spot again, so we drove by one day and low and behold, it was for sale. We couldn't pass up an opportunity to own something we fell in love with so quickly, so we took the jump, and bought it! And now, we can share it with all of you. Treat yourself to a beach front vacation in your own "home" and enjoy the journey friends. You only live once! GULF FRONT! Yes, you have your own path directly to the beach along with outdoor shower to rinse of your day on the sand and then enjoy the grill and picnic area for your afternoon dinner with your group. This 1/2 acre private property gulf front and equipped with 30/50 amp service, water, sewer, trash pickup, an outdoor patio, grill and misting outdoor shower. Just bring your swimming suits you'll be set. Cape San Blas, FL is one of the most beautiful and laid back places you will visit. This property is located on Cape San Blas and is right on the water (gulf side). The cape bike path you can take all the way to the state park and explore the entire cape and all it has to offer (22 mile round trip bike path). Also, check out kayaking in the bay or horse-back riding on the beach! Salinas Park is just a stone's throw where you can enjoy picnics with the family walk out to the bay or even drive onto the beach (permit required). The sleepy little towns of Port St. Joe and Appalachicola have so many great local restaurants and shops and you will love the laid back chill of these old Florida towns. If you've never taken your crew and camped right on the beach, then this is the place for you.
