Beautiful and welcoming environment
This place was gorgeous and they've created such a peaceful, welcoming environment! There was a beautiful creek right by our site to swim in and hammocks and chairs to relax in and watch the water flow by.
Mr. Bill was so kind and helped us with anything we needed throughout our stay, plus he's a great person to hangout and chat with!
I highly recommend staying here if you need a place to relax and unwind!

I absolutely loved camping here!!! We were right by the creek and the sounds of water were so peaceful and whenever the Florida heat got to be too much we could take a dip in the creek!
The scenery was gorgeous, but what really set it over the edge as my favorite place was Mr. Bill, he’s so kind and compassionate! He was ready to help with anything we may need and is a great person to just chat with!
I absolutely cannot recommend this place enough!!!

I had a great night camping by the creek, sleeping with the sound of falling water and cicadas. I also really enjoyed chatting with Bill and learning about off-grid living. I’m looking forward to my next stay!

We had a wonderful time! Mr. Bill offered us several spots to pitch our tent and we chose right next to the creek so we could hear the water through the night. And it was fabulous. We heard Chuck-Wills-Widows singing along with the creek cooing while we relaxed by the fire. It was a short walk to the bathroom but it was worth it. Mr. Bill was friendly but respectful of our time and space. He offered us a tour and coffee and we were happy to hang out and learn from him. His property is eclectic but for conservationists like us it is a delight! We will visit again for sure. I would recommend bringing extra lights to hang on the trees, we had a few and it was super helpful finding our way in the dark.

Bill, the host and owner of the property, embodies good vibes and hospitality. Made us feel right at home and exchanged wonderful stories about life and the world. There’s so much character, intrigue, and nature to enjoy at the site, which includes a swimming creek, quality restroom facilities, school buses, a nice kitchen, gathering area, and a few rustic structure great for sleeping. Our one night tent camping in wildcat is an experience I’ll always treasure and i hope to be back soon.

We were really excited to camp in north Florida. This place looked really eclectic and fun. We had no trouble finding the property. The driveway is a bit hidden but William gave great instructions to get there.
While William was super kind, We were not expected to need to be greeted. We were a little confused that we weren’t given instructions on where to actually camp on the property and had Mis communicated about the timing so we showed up without knowing where to go.
There is separate parking from the actual camp site which was a little off putting as newer female travelers. We would have preferred to have our cars next to us.
We also prefer not to interact with male hosts while on site if we don’t have significant others with us because it feels safer. Since we arrived close to sunset, needing to be greeted by a male host was not our preference.
We ended up deciding to leave but William graciously refunded our stay. He was so helpful and had no qualms about us cancelling our reservation.
For me, needing a map or instructions before hand is essential, and I hadn’t thought to request it, so I know for the future to ask ahead of time.

Awesome experience at wildcat creek! Bill was a great host making sure we had firewood and letting us stay in a school bus when the weather got bad. Nice secluded spot for a weekend getaway.

Bill was a wonderful host. He showed us around the property so we knew where the facilities were & what was available to use. Composting toilet were nice to have close by and plenty of water taps. He left us to our own time to enjoy nature, but checked in to make sure we were good. The property is nice with some pretty trails if you want to go for a walk. Close to other hiking trails around the area, and only about 1 hour out of Marianna for the caverns. The only thing that may people may not like is you can hear the traffic on the highway next to the property. It didn't really bother us, but I know some tent camping may want to be aware. Watching the chickens come around the morning was a plus. Would highly recommend checking this place out!

Our host was so nice. He was very accommodating. We forgot to bring a tarp to place under our tent. Mr William was very kind and loned us one of his to use he also provided
a table and set up a handycap restroom for my use so i would not have to walk so far . We didn't get to finish our stay due to the weather but I would definitely stay here again.

Wow! What a neat place! This place truly is an educational experience for many aspects of living with the land. It was refreshing to leave the craziness of life for a day and step into their quiet, natural lifestyle. The host family is so friendly and accommodating! I can't wait to go back and see what the earthship looks like once it's completed!

Bill’s place is just wonderful. My daughters, 6 and 3, stayed for the 4th of July. We ended up staying in the school bus apartment which was very comfortable. It was July, so the bus was quite hot during the day but it cooled off sufficiently for sleeping at night. Bill was so kind and showed us around the place/even helped my daughter get into the creek to play. We will absolutely be back! My 6 year old just adores Bill.

This is a wonderland of Bill’s love and respect for the earth. It’s a gift to be able to explore and see his many projects and structures, the abundant fruit and veggie plots, the deep black water creek, his two dogs are best buds and so much fun to watch. I pitched a tent in an open area and had a great night camping. The shower was spectacular. One of my best camping experiences ever and Bill is so kind and generous to share it all.

I chose to sleep in the schoolbus instead of the tent as it was raining, and the place is very clean and comfortable, with ammenities that were above my expectations. Mr. William was very nice to me and my girlfriend and helped us out a lot. Definetely recommend the place.

Bill met us at the front even though we got in pretty late. He shared his tea and eggs and coffee with us as well as his ideas of the future for the land. I’m excited to see what comes of it

I learned a lot about sustainability and how to use our natural resources in my two night stay at Wildcat Creek. Bill was very inviting, positive, and down to earth. He made sure we were all our needs were met so that we were comfortable. We had a great stay.

Such a great experience here at Wildcat Creek! Arrive with a warm welcome from Bill and all the other visitors (and pups) , set up your tent or pick a place to lay your head at night. The school buses are really cool and cozy or maybe you prefer one of the other great structures on the property. There is a creek within a few steps of the base camp - perfect for a little swim during the hotter months. So much growth and development happening at Wildcat Creek, I'm so excited to visit again in the near future!
You'll get out what you put in here. Put in positive vibes and a smile and leave feeling replenished, at ease, and incredibly happy!
