The property has been in my family since the early 1930s. the old homestead was my Great Grandparents, it still standing and I currently use it for hatching/hospital/maternity ward/ nursery/ dog rooms. The old barn is now where most of the birds roost. The Greasy Skillet is now a big chicken coop. during hurricane Michael a big tree uprooted and up-rooted the concrete slab with it. What is now my home was my grandparent's house. I renovated some of it and moved in after the loss of my grandma. We are a WORKING FARM You will see and hear all the farm sounds! You can pet the goats . You never know their might even be baby goat to hold and bottle feed. There are chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl, quail and turkeys galore. We now have Peacocks!!! We also have 4 BIG PIG that love ear scratches. We offer farm tours!!! There are livestock guardian dogs that protect the farm. They sleep lots during the day and patrol at night so they bark lots at night... We are a REAL WORKING FARM. You can join in on morning feeding or collet eggs. You can watch or help with morning milking! If you are real adventurous you can help around the farm!!! You can pitch you tent in the pine forest or in the open area next to the ponds! We make and sell homemade cheeses. Please check out our Farm Store ! We are conveniently located off of I-10 and hwy 231. We have numerus Florida State Parks within minutes of our location! Please DO NOT take Sapp Rd or Admiral Rd they do not go to the farm.

A great spot for our family!
We camped here with our rooftop tent and annex on our van. There was a plenty of space. Elizabeth was out of town but Chuck took great care of us and let our three children help with feeding animals the next morning. He answered all our farm questions. We ended up buying some things from the store as well. The whole experience was wonderful. We would definitely camp here again.

Great to experience what life is like on a farm. The kids really enjoyed seeing the animals and milking the goats.

Great family experience
Excellent host. Elizabeth was extremely helpful and friendly. She offered us a tour of the farm and let the kids help. She also has a store in which all kinds of goodies can purchased. The farm dogs are super friendly and certainly made the whole experience more enjoyable.

Disappointed
I booked this trip. Messaged the lady to let her know we would be coming in at mid night. She immediately snapped and said I guess you missed the 8pm check in. I explained , I didn’t see it (later confirmed with Hip Camp it was never on there and they would get her to add it ) . I explained that we too own a farm and would love to come check in and offered to pay extra since late check in. She said sure but I will have to send pictures of the site via text. I texted her and said we would be there , she said I will send pictures once I get home. When we was in route (6.32 hour drive ) I texted to let her know and she said , I will send pictures tomorrow, I immediately texted back and said it’s for today( the reservations) . Long story short she never replied so I had to book another one and the lady was so sweet and allowed us a late check in. After the trip, I asked this owner due to the miscommunication could I atleast get a refund , she advised me to reach out to hip camp, they said it’s up to her, hip camp emailed me saying the owner refused the refund. I emailed them feedback, because this was my first time using this site , and I know as a business owner communication is key. I want to leave an honest review. Since my email to hip camp , they are supposed to have her update her time specifications, just beware to not rely on text .

We enjoyed the chance to see the animals while camping here. You should know the animals will come around your tent and the birds will make noise throughout the night. We did not find that an issue. We did find the traffic from the nearby highway to be quite loud throughout the night. Overall, it was a nice site.
