Private campsite in the middle of the city! My family and I were lucky enough to find a four acre urban forest less than two miles from FSU, the Florida Capitol and downtown Tallahassee. And just a mile from midtown! We are welcoming tent campers to come experience camping in an urban forest. The camping area has a hot water shower and sink, and the main site (#76), is fully outfitted with fire ring, tent pad, fresh water, a picnic table and plenty of hammock trees! The camp area has space for up to 6 tent campers and 2 cars. All sites share the shower and sink areas and a port-o-potty that is professionally cleaned weekly. Sprinter style vans (UPDATE) - We successfully had a Sprinter Van on the site and have now started accepting booking for that style van. Due to limitations on space and clearance, we can only allow vans with a max of around 10 1/2' tall and 23' long. This is equivalent to a Sprinter 170. We can not fit RVs or extended wide bodies conversions. Pets: Pets on leashes are allowed on the property. Guests with aggressive animals will be asked to leave.Private campsite in the middle of the city! Amazing stay

Kenny is a delightful host.personable and very helpful. We had many informative and fun conversations. I felt very safe at this campground It’s an oasis of trees in the middle of Tallahassee Everything was close by The shower was amazingly hot and strong Everything is close to the campsite I had solar which was difficult to charge so Kenny charged on his electricity for me I stayed for two nights and would go back in a heartbeat Thank you Kenny

What more can you ask for in a city campsite nestled in the center of Tallahassee? Running water, hot shower, summer kitchen, picnic table, hammock trees, port a potty, firepit and wood for purchase all this and an excellent tent pad! Danny's land is secluded from all the hustle and bustle of Tallahassee and close enough to enjoy the many dining options along Monroe Street if you desire. Thanks again for a great stay!

Wonderful Tallahassee Camping

Danny was very accommodating and gave great directions and instructions. The campsite was exactly as described and displayed on the website. We easily located our site and firewood, had a wonderful time cooking and enjoying the seclusion. The site is surprisingly isolated from the city even though it's in town. Thank you Danny for stopping by and saying hello and making sure we had everything we needed. We'll definitely camp here again when visiting Tallahassee!
